Another great work by Brian B. Ewing! Nomad: A Story From The Reels is a compelling, character-driven Urban Thriller that’s a must-read. Ewing’s writing is clever in its complexity, but he makes sure that sophistication is digestible; it isn’t necessary to reread scenes to figure out what’s going on or who said what. This book has so much to offer: biker culture, undercover police work, allies and adversaries, including a cunning, calculating serial killer, and an independently wealthy, newbie police officer with a psychic gift. If you’re looking for a story with grit, suspense, blood, and tension, this is the novel for you!

Follow Tom Sisto as he navigates down the next dark path his job takes him. A string of murders pushes Sisto to uncomfortable levels, as he attempts to strengthen his personal life. The calculated deaths hold a level of precision to them and the visions hold nothing but a cold desire from a man losing his grasp on restraint. Join the ride as Sisto goes undercover for the first time in hope of stopping the brutal cross-country killings and try to avoid becoming a victim in the process.

A real page turner! As much as I loved Oracle (the first book), Nomad was even more entertaining and thrilling to read. The returning characters are just as lovable as in the first book, and the new additions give great support to the story.

I loved the changing point of views with each chapter to really get insight into Sisto's adversary. I found myself laughing out loud (repeatedly) and loving the twists and turns as the story evolved!

I was very impressed with how far Sisto had come from the first book (both personally and professionally), and I can't wait for his next adventure.

Great read. Kept me turning the pages to see where Sisto’s new undercover assignment was leading me. Ewing’s masterful story telling opened my senses and I heightened awareness like I was actually there. Highly recommend this book if you enjoy crime, mystery and action.
