Accidental babies
By Saiyidah Rahman
Tall, handsome, rich, and sexy, Jason Halloway is every woman’s dream guy. And as billionaires go, he’s not so bad himself; he seems to have everything in his life figured out already except for two little things—his misbehaving twins, Daphne and Tanner.
Tall, a bit plain, definitely not rich, and two stones bigger than what Jason preferred his female employees, April Saunders is hardly worth anyone’s attention let alone the great Mr. Halloway’s. It seems her hopes of working in the reputable Halloway Corporations are already crushed before it could even take root.
But when Jason loses the twins in his office and finds them in the arms of April, smiling in contentment, he needed to have a look at this person who just saved his day.
And when she looked back at him with her suck-me-in obsidian eyes, he faltered...
He might just let her in his company.
- This was definitely a feel good romance. Jason and April were an adorable pairing. They couldn’t be more opposites but somehow they made it work. April goes in for an interview at Holloway Corp., one of the biggest financial holdings in Chicago. On her way to her interview she finds two little babies crawling down the empty hallway. So with what any Good Samaritan would do she picks up the babies and tries to soothe them. Looking around for the parents she soon finds out these adorable twins belong to none other then the CEO of the company himself, Jason Holloway. Jason sees how good April is with his kids and decides that there is another job he would much rather her fill then being his receptionist. He decides to offer her the job as his live in nanny for the twins. She accepts and their relationship starts to form from there on. Their feelings for each other start to become palpable. They both know it’s dangerous territory to cross that line but as they live in the same apartment and develop a deep friendship those lines soon become blurred. To make matters worse as soon as they cross that boundary and decide they want to be more his ex, his mother, and the media soon take to trying to tear them apart. It was very enjoyable and It had a very bittersweet ending! 4/5⭐️
