Rate this book
Maestro Kieran Gallagher is a symphony brought to life. Hauntingly beautiful. Filled with breathtaking talent. And tragically untouchable. Rae Davis considers it the opportunity of a lifetime to work as the assistant to the virtuoso, until her feelings for him swell into an unrequited love. Unfortunately, the Maestro lives for his music, leaving him oblivious to all else. Pained by his clueless rejection, Rae throws away her dream and walks away. Only then does Kieran realize the passion to compose left with her. Without Rae, both his music and his life are barren and empty. Can he orchestrate a way to win her back? Or will the melody in his heart be silenced forever?

I have to admit that this was a hard one to review. As I first started reading, I was excited with the storyline and thought, yes!!! this is going to be fantastic!
The pacing was a bit slow for me, but the content was steady and progressed enough to keep my interest. I did feel like it took Kieran excessively long to realize how much Rae meant to him.
I hated the nonchalant way he dealt with women and how he viewed sex with his patrons. Never really making excuses for himself just showed a side of him that was distasteful.
I liked the way Rae tried to be strong and separate herself from his world so she could move on even though she was quite unsuccessful.
While the HEA was sweet, it happened too quickly for me to believe after reading 90% of the book where he continued to deny his commitment to Rae.
Guess I just didn’t like the Maestro as much as she did.

A Beautiful Simmering Romance ...SO refreshing

What a beautifully written love story that’s centered all around The Symphony & it’s Genius Maestro.... an AmaZing story of true love that’s endured a very slow long drawn out work/friend relationship that’s been tried and tested for an extended period of time. I highly recommend this story to any & all who love to root for a couples long road to realized love & happiness that may be complicated do to emotional issues that may be medically related , even if not medically defined clearly.... this was a departure from most I’ve read lately , and I found myself cheering for Rae & Kieran at every single turn!! Very heartfelt moments continuously & in the end , prepare for a truly grand beautiful HEA MOMENT that may have you shed a few tears for their hard earned final scenes of passion & professed love ❤️
