Charles Lamb was an English essayist with Welsh heritage, best known for his "Essays of Elia" and for the children's book "Tales from Shakespeare", which he produced along with his sister, Mary Lamb (1764–1847).
Made it to chapter 12. Not at all interested in reading a wish fulfillment story about a sex starved lady who has zero impulse control. The surrounding cast of characters don't put any thought into their actions or speech. Nymphs everywhere, not investing any more time to get to the inevitable harem.
First book was good but grated due to some inconsistencies and amateurishness second was better and third explained the inconsistencies in a way that made them always make sense on looking back and had a nice unexpected element.
I love the author. Saw this series, was intrigued and started through the series again. Part way through I realized I had read this before. But it was so good I finished the Entire series again. I'm just as satisfied as the first time.
