Gods, dragons, spirits, and humans exist in this world. Of course, since the gods are much stronger and smarter than the humans, the latter would normally not get involved with the former all that much. However, the gods are very bored so they made a certain game. It is called, "The Gods' Games." "The God's Games" is simply humans and gods playing all sorts of games with each other. In exchange, the humans get special abilities. These powers come in all sorts of different kinds: teleportation, regeneration, magic, enhanced physical abilities, etc. Because this world has many dangerous monsters, humans absolutely need them. For that reason, various humans participate in the "The Gods' Games." However, this game does have rules to it. If one loses three times, the player will instantly retire. Conversely, if one wins ten times before they lose three, the gods will grant the winner an infinite amount of "wishes." Yes, to the gods, it's just a matter of killing time for them. Furthermore, in the history of the "God's Games," no one has cleared this game yet.
But, one day, the former god, Leyreshe woke up. Three thousand years ago, she was playing hide-in-seek so she hid at the bottom of the ocean, but she accidentally fell asleep there. Additionally, the Ice Age happened at that time so she completely froze into ice. So, in the present world, she finally woke up. However, Leyreshe is a slightly strange existence. As a former god, she lacks common sense, but she loves games. In games, she is very strong, so there is one that can even compete with her; however, a certain young man, Fei, is able to do so. Last year, this young man won three games without losing a single one. Similar to each other, these two love games a lot, so as comrades, they decided to challenge the "Gods' Games" together. For the sake of their wishes, this human and former god may able to clear this impossible game. ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー Like "No Game No Life," this world setting is extremely interesting! Normally if humans and gods face off each other, the humans will almost certainly lose. However, the protagonist, Fei, proved that humans can actually win. If they properly play it, there is a chance of winning. As a game, there should be no impossible rules in it after all.
Of course, "The Gods' Games" are very hard, but Fei and Leyreshe use their heads to clear the games. Personally, these scenes were really cool. After that, Fei and Leyreshe have interesting personalities, so their conversations are very fun. Additionally, the plot and developments are very natural that I didn't feel any particular unease about them. Overall, it was a very nice book!
