So much love in this volume, and so much difference in every facet. Momo and Manji. Sen and Okumasa. Rui to Momo. Kizashi to Sen. Jugoya and Shichimatsu. And other more. Genuine, demanding, unrequited, and cruel. All are different from each other, but all are also real. And where there is love, life will also weave people into a twisting thread of fate, circling them back to one another in ways they cannot easily escape.

La intensidad de este tomo omgggg 😳 Desde la revelación de Momo y Manji, el remordimiento de Sen y la relación de los excompañeros de Manji 🥲 En palabras de Momo:

“Manji, estás confundiendo el seguir adelante con huir”.

Not my strongest volume of Momo & Manji, because it feels more like a bridge between bigger developments than a story with a strong arc of its own. But Momo and Manji being domestic little lovebirds is still VERY important to me.
We get lovely, hilarious moments with this pair at the sumo event and as they settle into their new home, but the focus is more on enjoying their everyday life together than pushing their relationship forward in a major way. Manji is slowly forced to confront the past he’s been trying to escape.
Meanwhile, Sen and Kii’s relationship gets more complicated, and knowing Kii is the twin of Sen’s deceased lover makes their whole situation SO emotionally messy… I’m fascinated, but I’m also not convinced these two are getting anywhere near a HEA. 💀 Still, the character work and all these tangled relationships have me invested regardless!

Feia temps que no llegia una història de Momo i Manji i he de reconèixer que he perdut el fil completament :/ Cada vegada fa més la sensació que la sèrie és un recull de vivències slice-of-life i en aquest volum l'acció se centra en l'antiga brigada de bombers i un munt de personatges secundaris que m'ha costat massa d'ubicar... una llàstima perquè recordo els volums anteriors amb molt d'afecte!

Siendo un tomo transitorio, pero que profundiza y nos muestra la vida de varios de los secundarios, el cuarto tomo de "Momo y Manji" nos prepara para el enfrentamiento de Manji con su pasado al completo.
