JJ Miller's "Force of Justice" is an Amazon bestseller (Pulp Thrillers). JJ aims to write the kind of thrillers he likes to read: ones that grab you by the collar from page one and never let go. He lives with his wife and three kids, and two cats.
I don't know when I have given a whole series 5 stars. This series deserves it. I only have one problem. I just read the last book. JJ Miller needs to get busy! Thanks for sharing your story!
This is a brilliant series. I’m sad when I got to the end because I know I have to wait for the next one to be released. Please get busy and be not keep me waiting too long
Love this series!! Good story line. The characters are so relatable. Brad does go above and beyond for his clients.. Please don't leave hanging long for the next!!!!!
Love this series. OMG....the 'ending' of this book.....waiting with baited breath for #5. Highly recommend this whole series. Each book could be read as stand along; best if read in order though. 😉 ENJOY
Really good story. This author writes really good courtroom drama. I love the twists and turns and I never figured it out. I’m surprised at the ending and can’t wait for another. I got to know what happens
Blood and Justice by J. J. Miller 2/19/2023 Kindle
Once again I’m reading this series of attorney Brad Madison, one after the other. I keep wishing I’d warm up to his as I did with the author’s other character, but I do find the story engaging enough to hold my continued attention.
Guard Chip Bowman is accused of being the insider in a massive robbery where two of his associates are gunned down, while he is only wounded. In order to prove his client’s innocence, Madison attempts to locate the real killers.
While the book had some errors, overall the read was fairly simple but as a quick read, interesting enough to recommend and continue with the series.
attention grabbing, mind provoking process, recommend
Amazing penmanship. I just love Brad. I hate author tied Jack down with a wife and kids bc he’s not actively involved with the cases. I used to love Jack skills and how good him and Brad worked together. Now, all Jack talks about is wife and kids, boring. Mr. Miller is a terrific author. And his sense of humor shows through Brad character. The twists in this book had the fingers pointing at 2 characters at least. You just have to weigh your options. Great courtroom drama as always. Brad be killing it in court. He has went up against some great prosecutors, very competitive and competent. The book ending is compelling.
J.J. Miller doesn’t fail to create yet another enthralling Brad Madison legal thriller. An interesting concept centered around a suspected inside job on the robbery of a cannabis dispensary security firm. I did not realize that this service existed, but the dichotomy in state and federal laws makes it necessary, I suppose.
The twist that I was waiting for was a bit of a surprise, but not totally unexpected. I was a bit disappointed, though, at having one of the angles in the story left open, but I suspect (hopefully) that it will carry over to the next book.
Life\death ,, LEGAL cannibus,what could go wrong??
Yes,another Lawyyer\Detective story. But this author, makes the. Lawyer more of a Lawyer. Who failed at both jobs until. He finds the real truth of what was going on,and Who was looking good and who was really a bad guy he straightens everything straight, until the final sentence which sets. Up his next book (I think), a really good, intrerestig, book. Makes his characters real and explains his ,and their real reasons for doing what they are doing. Read it! I think you will like this author and his Characters......I did.
As with the previous three books focused on the central character, Brad Madison, this book also narrated a good, interesting and thrilling story interweaving shrewd crime investigation (aided ably by Jack) and great courtroom theatrics. The ending was completely unexpected until literally the very end. As with previous books, there are grammatical and other errors in quite a few places,,, before releasing the book it would help to push it through a editorial process. Looking forward to the next (5th) one in this series.
Fine transition to the next title. Tightest storyline to date with no feeling of gotta-wrap-it-up.
I personally get frustrated with the many British phrases used, when there is no reason for them in the character development or storyline. Is the author British by birth or education or lifestyle?
And his copy editors need to read the manuscript aloud and try to catch the many homophone errors. Yep, those things can interrupt an American-English speaker's enjoyment of Mr. Madison's adventures.
The trials and travails of a big-city general practitioner (really, criminal defense, family law and probate as areas of practice?) with murders and intimidation, fatherhood, outlaw bikers and sophisticated hard-core criminals peppering his life in this installment.
Sometimes you can figure out who the culprits are and their motives. In this book, you could determine motives pretty easily however I must say I was surprised when I learned who was behind it all. I like how fast paced the book moves, the interesting characters and the places where they show up it’s a good read, and of course, there is a cliffhanger at the end.
This series is getting better and better with each new story. I can’t wait to see where the author takes them next because this one was more unpredictable than I was expecting and I need more of that.
J.J. Miller has the dial cranked to warp speed from the first page. This Series is movie worthy. I recommend you start with book one to get to know the characters but it works as a stand alone novel. Can't spoil it. Read!
Great plot and strong content with twists and turns of action. The human element of all parties lends itself to introspection when weighing the evidence that justice system can manipulate to win.
Loved it! Could hardly put it down. The plot keeps you on edge until the end. Fast paced, with many twists and turns. Just know there has to be more to follow. Can't wait!
California had made Cannabis legal but the Federal Government had not. Growers had problems dealing with the money they earned. Hardhat was a security company who helped the buyers by transporting their money and plants. The owner seemed ruthless.
The book for the most part is average nothing hot. Not exactly a thriller. The end is a stunner and saves the day or the book, as it were. Of course the last page is a cliff hanger but that’s all i will say for now. Enjoy!!
Just when you think you have everything figured out, here comes the twist. You just want it to go on,but then another turn comes. Can't wait for the next book.
