Cool art, but sadly the stories of each character don’t explore anything that we didn’t already learn from the game itself. Still not bad, though.

Divinity Original Sin II having risen to easily become one of my favorite video games that I have ever played, it only follows that I would love the in depth look at the companion backstories as told in this graphic novel. Lohse and Sebille’s were my favorite, and I could easily hear this as if it was spoken to me in the characters voices from in game. Marvelously done!

I love all of the Origin characters from Divinity Original Sin 2 so reading their backstories in graphic form was great!

Will say though, The Red Prince looks kinda bad? Something about the way his design is depicted in the graphic novel does not look good.

Other than that, if you love the game, you will enjoy the graphic novel.

The book doesn’t discuss anything you cannot learn by playing the game. The art is lively though. I appreciated being able to see the stories drawn out. Red Prince is just as amazing as he is in game. All in all, worth it.
