You ever have a friend who is super perky super on something thats Penny lol shes just a ball of sunshine and it drives Dean crazy. He doesnt know what type of crazy yet lol. There partner in a wedding and Penny is already sprung for Dean. She thinks he feels the same.. but he doesn't know what he feels so he kinda distance himself.
So when Penny comes visit him he doesn't have the heart to turn her away or not go after her. And tacos help lol until she overhears him say something and she takes off hidding out thinking he never did care for her.
Now dean gotta prove to his sunshine girl he does and he's going to grovel and show her.
No ow/om drama, no cheating, tiny drama, Slight secondary charas, sexy times, virgin no manwhore

This book was sort of the sequel New Year's book where it told the romance between Penny, Sushine sister, and Dean, Brooks bff. I wanted to give more stars to this story, I really did. It's just the h was too perky; at times I even thought she was bit childish. And it just didnt make sense to me when the H realized that the h was also business savvy. I dont know.... it didnt make sense, at least not to me. If she's good at baking, that's one thing. But she's good at baking, business savvy, and high positivity with extreme perkiness (with tendency of naiveness)?? I dont think so. It's too bright for my gloomy soul.
Anyway, I guessed it was just my personal judgement and story preference, I guessed. I still enjoyed the book though, not as much the prequel. But ok.

Perfect name for thus book
Sweetness was the perfect name for this book. Penny was sweet and adorable. She was the perfect person for Dean and his grumpy self. I hated Deans mother !!!!! This was another great one by Pixie

Everyone deserves sweetness in their life.
A wonderful story from Pixie Chica that will make you feel good after reading it. Penny is the sweetness that Dean really need. Dean learned early in his life to keep people at a distance but when his friend and business partner married and he’s had to partner the sister. That sister is Penny and the minute he saw her his world changed even when he fights it. Penny on the other hand felt that she will never find love but when she spent time with Dean she found her one and only. They had some bumps in the road of true love but love prevail. Highly recommend this story.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Dean is attracted to his best friends new sister in law. Dean and Penny are complete opposites; will Dean pull his head out of his butt and get his woman?
The chemistry between Penny and Dean is clear to see and I liked them together. I liked that Dean loosened up a little.

Penny is the maid of honor for her sister Sunshine's wedding. Dean is the best man for Brookes and also his business partner. Dean has already witnessed how a woman can change a man who hides from the world and turn him upside down. He's not looking for that, but one look at Penny and he's a goner. Alpha caveman is released. I totally loved Sunshine's story which is the 1st book New Year's Kiss, which puts us right into this book so good. Loved how Dean makes Penny's dream come true.

I am a sucker for any romance that involves sweet treats, a baker/bakery and this one had the perfect FMC for me, one looking to have a bakery food truck!
I also like a MMC that is a bit obsessed and maybe a whole lotta protective...again ✅, got that in here too.

I loved Penny so much, her energy and personality was amazing! Dean was so perfect for her, all jealous and growly but lightened up for Penny. The nickname 'sweetness' and the cover is to die for! I would have given it 5 stars if there was another epilogue further into the future.

Loved it.
She was so sweet and he was more than a little closed off. I liked that she wasn't as "experienced" as her sister and he was allowed to let his alpha loose. I always enjoy a good grovel from the H, and this book had a decent one. so few authors give us that.

Dean was a perfectly content man to live in his own world of solitude and quiet, just blending into the background. And along comes Penny, life in surround sound with hi-def coloring to flip his world upside down. These 2 are an opposites attract love match made in heaven.

That was a really fun read🥰🥰 Love at first sight with two totally different people. Dean was uptight and grumpy, Penny was a ray of sunshine what a great combination 😉😂 Penny kept Dean on his toes and he fell head over heels for her. A safe and sweet story with a nice HEA and without OM/OW drama😉

It was well written and I enjoyed the storyline. But I thought the h was too childlike and the H was a bit over the top for me. I liked the first book better.
