Elisa S. Amore is the author of the paranormal romance saga Touched. She wrote the first book while working at her parents’ diner, dreaming up the story between one order and the next. She lives in Italy with her husband, her son, and a pug that sleeps all day. She’s wild about pizza and traveling, which is a source of constant inspiration for her. She dreamed up some of the novels’ love scenes while strolling along the canals in Venice and visiting the home of Romeo’s Juliet in romantic Verona. Her all-time favorite writer is Shakespeare, but she also loves Nicholas Sparks. She prefers to do her writing at night, when the rest of the world is asleep and she knows the stars above are keeping her company. She’s now a full-time writer of romance and young adult fiction. In her free time she likes to read, swim, walk in the woods, and daydream. She collects books and animated movies, all jealously guarded under lock and key. Her family has nicknamed her “the bookworm.” After its release, the first book of her saga quickly made its way up the charts, winning over thousands of readers. Touched: The Caress of Fate is her debut novel and the first in the four-book series originally published in Italy by one of the country’s leading publishing houses. The book trailer was shown in Italian movie theaters during the premiere of the film Twilight: Breaking Dawn—Part 2.
While I knew ahead of time that this book isn’t about Melanie, reading it remained a let down. Absolutely nothing happened in it. It was like part 1 to a complete book and for some reason book two (8) has to be waited on. If you’re going to write a book that isn’t really a complete book on its’ own, all of the books should release together. It is boring, by itself. I know people that write series books like to turn a single book into several to make more money, but at least make it interesting on its’ own. I would have been irate, if I had purchased this book versus reading it on kindle unlimited. It was a short read and I enjoyed being back in that universe. I’ll read the next one, of course. Hopefully, something actually happens in that one.
I enjoyed this book. I didn’t like not knowing who Nicole was and just having her throw in like the authors did. I loved that everyone else was there and it definitely was set in the future from Lucian and Melany. I hate that Nicole is so hated at the academy and I don’t believe she did what everyone claims she did. I love and hate the cliffhanger at the end cause I need more!
I am loving this series! A fantastic continuation, we carry on from where the previous book left us. The storyline is entertaining and addictive and the characters are relatable and continue to grow and develop. An exciting instalment, we follow Nicole on her journey and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Whilst there were some flaws with this series, I was really enjoying the world and the characters. Unfortunately when I got to this book, I could not finish it.
This is where the spoilers begin! . . . . . The previous book kills off Melany, and I was expecting this book to pick up from there and somehow revive her. Sadly that wasn't the case, which makes the previous two or three books very weak. Many of the "super powerful" god's were killed off, and there seems to be 0 consequences for that (these new books may reveal consequences but so far nothing). The books kept hinting at Hades return, but then he never does? Super disappointing resolution after I binged the rest of the books in a couple of days.
This book introduces a new heroine to follow, but honestly she reads exactly like Melany, except she keeps going on about how amazing she is and her "super powers". I got about 40% through and gave up, I was hoping for a continuation of the previous characters.

Not my favorite in any of the seasons. Especially Nicole!
Usually a hero has a moral compass. Not Nicole. Look I get she had no memory & has no memory of her past however, she could have chose to go to the police. Have them search for her family or gone into foster care. Nope she chose stealing & anything she could to get by. She couldn't work a regular job because she had no identification. Even when she starts getting memories back it's clear she had a temper that could kill a lot of people. Especially with her fire power. She has no control over it and she threatened Iris with it. My gut tells me Iris is her bully and karma had a hand in what happened to her. Ultimately I think Iris cheated at the trials and stole Nicole's place. Causing Nicole to flunk the academy. Now stop bothering me so I can read the next book & see if I'm right. Oh, and there's quite a cliffhanger at the end!
This is the seventh installment of the demigod academy series. However, it does not follow the story of mel but the story of Nicole. Someone who has been banished from the demigod academy. Her senses have kicked in and defied all the odds and she has to return to the academy. This is where she needs to try get all her memories back and understand her powers as they return Why is she back at the academy? Who is the person haunting her ? I loved kabe you can see how he feels about Nicole regardless of the past and my least favourite character is the corpse king but just because I still don't know who he is, I'm hoping Mel returns at some point and that their stories are intertwined
Nicole lives on the streets of London and has no memory of her past. But flashes start to appear the more she hears about the Demigods and their battles. After fighting off the dead in a cemetary, she becomes obsessed with France. A portal there takes her to the academy where her whole life flips. Can she figure out why she's there?
Nicole meets all our favorite characters and brings us back to the world we enjoyed. Cant wait to read more about her.
Melany’s story is over. Now it’s time for Nichole’s story. Nichole is just trying to survive. Now she’s starting to see things. But they aren’t things they are memories. She finds her way back to the demigods academy. She was kicked out from there. Before she left she had a run in with the corpse king. Now back at the academy her and Cade are trying to figure out who the corpse king is and how she was able to get back to the academy.
This book was fantastic! I have loved the Demigods Academy series from the beginning and was sad for Melany’s story to come to an end. So to be able to go back into that world with Nicole is awesome! And I have to admit I get really excited anytime Melany and Hades are talked about or any of the original characters show up. Lol. I am loving Nicole and Cade and can’t wait for book 8 to come out!
I loved the story with Melany and all of the struggles she went through. I had thought that was the end, well I was happily wrong. Nicole seems like a whirlwind of fun and adventure! I'm excited to see what happens with the Corpse King and Cronus. And how does she get away from the cliffhanger battle?!
I love this seiries. I can not wait to see more of Nicole and her story... And maybe Melleny if she makes another appearance in future books.... Can not wait for the next book.....
I wasn’t sure when I started this book wether I would like it a love melony. But I definitely bet my expectations and it’s safe to say I loved it and can’t wait for the next book
The mystery of Nichole and what happened years ago is a compelling story. I read this book very quickly. It ends on a cliffhanger so I’m ready to jump back in and find out what happens next.
If you have read all the demigod academy books you would love this one. It follows different characters Then the other books but it’s still good there’s a lot more mystery in this book because she does not remember how she got expelled from the Academy

Interesting but very different from the other books. I'm curious to find out if this continuing saga cuts the mustard. So far so good but it will be interesting to find out if it is worth it. It is worth the money to find out for whatever that is worth
4.5. It was nice to get a break from Melany and her drama for a bit, though of course I’m still dying to know about Hades. I just don’t understand why every badass woman needs a man 🙄 anyway the books are still good, a bit simple but overall entertaining and satisfying.
It was good but I was missing my girl Blue. I know she is where she wants to be and she is with her love but I wanted her with everybody. I don’t think I’ll be reading anymore. I gave this book a shot but my heart is not in it.
3 I loved the first 6 books of this series. This one started out slow for me, but it got better towards the end. I was stand offish to start the second half of the series since it’s all new characters but now I’m excited to see how and if it all ties together.
I found Nicole to be a very washed out version of Melanie and quite a disappointment. The story doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. I hope the next one is better.
I loved the series much more when Melanie was the main character. I wish her and hades weren’t dead. This new character Nicole is okay. Let’s see where the next book takes us.
