Oh yes another shifter series begins😍😍 Cameron found his fated mate and nothing and nobody could stop him from claiming her. Cameron is J/P but oh so sweet. This was a l9vely light hearted shifter fate mates romance with enough of a storyline to keep reading to see what happens with the Wolves. Mary was nice character who knows what she wants in life but isn't happy at where she is and cameron is just love sick from the moment he meets her

So good!! 3.5 stars.
I have loved pretty much everything I’ve read from Olivia, and this did not disappoint at all. It’s got all the elements I love about her other books. OTT, insta-love, soulmates, double virgins, great sex, a super sweet, satisfying ending that just makes the entire book feel all that much better.
It’s less than 100 pages, with very little drama.
If you’re looking for a book that has all this action, and all these problems that keep popping up to complicate the main characters’ lives, this isn’t it. This is for those of us who like to read the books that will just make us feel good at the end. Low stress, low plot. High sugar, high steam.
Can’t wait for the other brothers’ books to come out.

A reporter walks into a bar, this is not the start of a joke.
Mary is hot on the heals of a major story.
She bought cowgirl books, jeans and a low neck top to fit in in this small Montana town.
She only manages to insult the locals, spill beer all over the men she is investigating and gets booted out the door.
Cameron is feeling good, he is starting over, no snipers to look out for he only has the other alpha shifters to worry about and their no match, he is walking to the bar to meet his brothers when his throat constrict and burns, his bear is restless. It isn't until he is in the doorway does he realize why.
Mary and Cameron stare at each other in shock and awe.

Left me a bit confused considering these men moved to Logan's ranch and while that's not the confusing part, the reuse of the name Cameron did. Sure one's a Dixon and the other is a Bowen but still confusing since the two groups are basically linked together through the ranch. Could've picked ANY other name but no let's go with the exact same name from the other series.
Also can't really say I like Mary all that much. For a journalist she's not very smart or thinks things through before she opens her mouth.
And once again, I am questioning the actual virginity of the shifters in these books when there are lines like "Maybe three orgasms was pushing it for a sexual novice, but I couldn’t help it." It honestly comes off as the guy having experience while the woman doesn't.
Aside from that I'd love to see something different in her books but it's always the same. The bear shifter eats her out, then they have sex where the bear inside him is always bitching about a mate mark, but the man denies it, etc... I'd rather see something new.

Another Shifter Series by OTT
This is Cameron and Mary’s story. Cameron, his brothers and his cousin are bear shifters with a dangerous past. Mary is the reporter who comes to town to sniff the story out. While she does get the story, in about five minutes, she gets a whole lot more when she finds out she is Cameron’s mate. Mary doesn’t quite understand that this a forever kind of thing, that she’s not going back to the city with her story. But she will, once she sees just how far Cameron and his family will go to protect her.
I love the underlying drama/mystery that is unfolding in this series. While Cameron and Mary’s story is complete, the drama isn’t. You’ll love Cameron, who is another OTT, possessive alpha that OTT creates so well. Mary is a bit clueless but sweet in her pursuit of a story and the two of them together are perfect.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Alpha possessed is the first book in the ‘’Dixon brothers’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Mary is a reporter from New York looking for a story. When she visits a small town for answers she never expects to find love with a shifter.
The chemistry between Mary and Cameron is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

Whenever I need a great and spicy quick romance, Olivia never disappoints me! She introduces Cameron and his mate Mary in this first book of the Dixon Brothers shifter series - and Cameron is all the alpha yet sweet and possessive Kodiak bear I could dream of. Mary had me chuckling with her bluntness - these two together was just pure 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Olivia wrote this OTT instalove story with just the right amount of action and steam for me to indulge in right before work and left me swooning. I loved every single word!!

The FMC was too stupid. She was a " I am so sorry everything is my fault" - damsel, who just needed to be first line in the fight because she taught the fight would be stopped if she said she wouldn't write the article. Stupid. Even more stupid because the wolves were only partly there because of her. And then! And then! She screamed stop although the wolves said that if they got away they would tell the murder of the partens were to find all of them. What did she do?
"Stop."
"Let them leave."
And now you know what will be the problem in the next book. The problem she caused. Now she really is responsible.

Overall : okay, not my favorite by any means, but actually finished the book. The setting, the guys, the side characters, all of it was good. Except the h. Up until 75% through the book, she was adamant that she was just going to sleep with him then up and move back across the country. Even though she knew he was a shifter and she was his mate and how strong their connection was...she still planned to move away. That didn't sit well with me. I'm bummed this is the first book and we'll have to see her again throughout the series. I'll always think back to how she planned to ghost him.

Mary is a city girl wanting to dig up story about the Dixon brothers. A city girl trying to be a country girl is not easy and spilling drinks on the men you want to talk to is not a good start. Cameron was late in arriving and was surprised to finally meet his mate. There’s lots of funny self dialogue with Mary. Cameron and his brothers and one cousins have been through a lot and was just looking for a peaceful normal place to live. It’s a great introduction to the others in this series. Can’t wait for the next story.

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable even with the cringey parts. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Cameron and Mary were very different but they connected on another level. Mary was determined to do her job as a reporter and get her story. Cameron wanted to be with his mate and make her happy. Mary found out that her getting her story meant that she was in danger and so were Cameron and his family. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

This is a sweet short story. To sweet, and not enough angst for me. It's really well written, for a short story there is enough plot to keep you interested with a little spice thrown in. I liked the fact that it had a decent plot for such a short story. One of the few things I didn't like about it was how much the FMC flipped flopped back and forth about what she was doing/going to do. There was to much of it in this short story. I guess that was supposed to be the angst?
If you like short sweet stories with OTT shifters.. This just might be the book for you. I hope you enjoy it.

If you love shifters you'll love Alpha Possessed the Dixon Brothers book one by Olivia T. Turner. Three brothers and one cousin make up the Dixon family. All they all want is to find their mates but now it's Cameron's turn. When he "smells" Mary he knows she is his mate. Basically instant love between Cameron and Mary, some drama with some nasty wolves, some really hot shifter sexiness and great epilogues. Olivia can sure write OTT alphas. Kudos!

I loved this book. It was a short read, but covered everything you would want in a story. Strong, sexy, possessive, protective, loving, gentle, strong. dominate, tender, knows what he wants, knows his mate when he sees her. Problems from the past arise and are dealt with temporarily ( I think it they might arise later) . I recommend this book, especially if your in for a quick satisfying read. Sherrie

Well I was so excited for this book, I was ready to learn who the new shifters in town are. And boy do you learn! This book is exciting and packed plenty of off the charts sexiness. What an epic start to a new series, OTT seriously has it down to a fine art with these hotties.
Mary is searching out a career making story, what she isn’t expecting is Cameron super hot, rugged, alpha to the extreme and a shifter who declares her his mate, but with Mary’s curiosity running wild will she put herself in danger?.
