Exactly as advertised: fantasy writing prompts. I used to do a lot of writing in my early years and have decided to get back to it (maybe even publish a story or two - who knows?). I've definitely found inspiration in some of the great prompts in this book!

Prompts are divided into Action Adventure Fantasy; Myths, Legends and Fairy Tale; Coming of Age Fantasy; Urban Fantasy; Dragons and Mystical Creatures; Fantasy Romance; Paranormal and Horror; Epic Fantasy; Superhero and Sword and Sorcery.

Mostly Great Prompts

Picked this up looking for some inspiration and a few ideas to run with. The book overall did not disappoint, having many various fantasy writing prompts to choose from, even including a horror subgenre section. This is a decent piece of reference material.

Again, my only complaint is the lack of editing and proofreading on some of the writing. I found a few typos, grammatical errors, and awkward writing that caused some momentary hang-ups. Overall, while it did distract a great deal from the contents of the book, it does not change the usefulness of the resource.

Lots of good prompts when you need a little boost. I look back over the prompts from time to time when I want some different ideas.
