Science & Christianity: Four Views

Rate this book
Christians have long debated the relationship of science to faith. With the rise of Darwinism, however, the issue took on new significance. Darwinism appeared to undermine the authority of the Bible and the credibility of Christianity by freeing science of the need for a Creator. Rethinking the relationship between science and Christianity quickly became a priority. Six contributors here debate the relative merits of four distinct conceptions of the relationship between Christianity and science today. Views range from a strict creationist posture to full-fledged partnership.

This book was very instrumental in helping me get over the hump of my logical side that says science is based in empirical fact and that there must be a God because that is what I believe.

The 4 views that are expressed in this book are well thought and and two match my own views between the two dichotomous subjects
