The Devil Went Down

Rate this book
They wrote a song about me once not so long ago, about how I came to Georgia looking to steal souls.
They got it all wrong.
*First, I came to New York, looking to have a vacation.
*Secondly, I play the guitar not a fiddle.
*Thirdly, I’m a woman.
*And last but certainly not least, Johnny and his bandmates were the ones who stole my heart & my soul.

My name’s Lucy, Lucifer Morningstar and this is my side of the story.

Unique twist with electric chemistry

The song the devil went down to Georgia is a classic. This book takes the song and creates a love story for all to fall in love with. The unique twist on the characters and song pull you in to the story and demand your attention.

Lucifer is first a woman and she’s kickbutt. She’s sweet with a feisty underbelly. She knows what she wants and makes no apologies for it. The chemistry between all the characters is electric and will have you panting. The story has a warm feeling to it that makes you want to jump into book with them. From sweet James, shy Jay, funny Jackson, and stubborn Johnny you find it hard not to love them. Johnny makes it hard at first, but then he redeems himself in a huge way. The fun digs at Karen and her needing a friend layer the already enjoyable plot.

This is the third book I’ve read by the author and something about this one almost makes it my favorite. While it doesn’t have the intense mystery the other two do, the characters and overall plot captured me in a different way. I’m excited to see what is next for these characters as well as it seems Michael just may be in for a chance at love.

Multiple POVs. High heat. MM. Rockstar romance with a devil twist.

Absolutely loved this book!! I loved the way the author had a different spin on the classic the devil went down to Georgia. And her take of who Lucifer and Eve really were and the three band mates that Lucifer finds and falls in love with. You will love the story that unfolds and leave you loving all the characters in the end. It was funny, witty, suspenseful, great characters and so so steamy. You will not be disappointed in this book!

Cool twist on a classic

This story moves fast... the guys fall in love within a matter of days and have a complete personality switch. Also in NYC James takes home a strange girl to live with them just because she plays the guitar really well.
Overall the sex scenes are well written, though they are abundant and the twist that Lucifer is a girl is fantastic! ⭐⭐⭐

Fast paced

very fast paced, i found it unique and a bit enjoyable. I also found myself skipping through about halfway wanting to get to the conclusion. Bottom line, great idea's by this author just needs a little more finesse.

I couldn't finish it. I really tried but it felt empty. I love the idea, but it felt really fast paced like it skipped over everything. Like summary after summary rather than actual story. The writing fits teenagers more, minus the sexual content.

Interesting idea

I liked the story but it really needs another good edit for typos and content. Other than that it was an ok read

Unique storyline

Loved the premise of Lucifer being female. The story wrapped up nicely even though it was a quick read. Will see what this author comes up with next
