A young married woman is murdered. Her husband is overcome with grief. Did jealousy, rage, or greed lead to her murder? But things aren’t always what they seem. Affairs, phony marriages, and people going missing. And what’s up with some of the community leaders coming under scrutiny? What’s the nexus?
These are just a few of the things Brigid and Sheriff Davis have to figure out in this fast-paced page-turning murder mystery. And just when they think they’ve figured out whodunnit, they’re thrown another twist!
Join them as they search for the killer in this, the 14th book in the Cottonwood Springs Cozy Mystery Series by a USA Today Bestselling Author.
The sheriff thinks he knows who killed the young woman--her husband of course. Brigid is not so sure that is the killer and sets out to prove it. There really is a lot going on in that little town that neither Brigid nor the sheriff are aware of! Many twists and turns that will keep you guessing. I wonder if you can figure out who done it before it is revealed.
Just finished this book and as always I loved it. Bridget and Linc’s relationship is so special. The storyline was good. Not an everyday type of murder. I only wish that when the truth came out details of everything the murderer had done were explained. That’s it. I like details and closure in a bow.
Keeps you guessing almost to the end. Like how well the characters fit together. Recommend this author. As you can see I don't like to really give anything away about the story, every person has their own take on something. I just let people know if I like an author or not. You be your own judge if the stories. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
Quick easy read. This book was a little different then Dianne's other murder mysteries. Or maybe it was because I read it instead of listening to it. It was still a quick easy read with an easy to follow story line. I think it had more mystery then her other mystery books. This one kept me guessing till the end. Two more books to go in this series. I'm going to be super sad when it's complete.
14th book in this cozy mystery series set in Cottonwood a springs Colorado. In this book, Brigid and Sheriff Davis are investigating the murder of a local woman. The husband is the prime suspect until new details emerge and it’s clear he isn’t the culprit. They plow through a series of potential suspects until the real killer is revealed.
I love the books that Dianne writes. This one does not disappoint. I guess what I like most about her books is even with a murder the story has a lot of good feeling to it. Great characters many that continue throughout the series.
This is the second series by Dianne Harman that I have read. The characters are easy to relate to and well developed. You enjoy seeing their lives evolve as each case is solved. If you enjoy good cozy mysteries, I highly recommend Dianne Harman!
Poor Sheriff! He still sounds like a Mis’sippi redneck!
This book was a bit more interesting, even tho the Sheriff’s vernacular was distractingly irritating. He does really sound like a true Mis’sippi redneck. I know cuz I live there‼️
Thank you for another captivating book. It’s always great to see the bad person get caught. I just can’t stop reading your books once I start. I get hooked. I’m glad your books are short and an easy read. Mahalo, Robert Ericksen
I love this series. The storyline and characters are very well developed. So many twists and turns, I'm always trying to figure out who did it. I can't wait until the next book is published.
This is absolutely one of Harman's best. Using characters who have been loved in an entire series and bringing then into a crime with entirely new and intriguing people who may or may not have anything evil to add to the story she keeps the tension right to the last moment. I highly recommend this novel.
