Worst. Date. Ever. The last time firefighter Ace Hollister went out with gorgeous paramedic Kristina Reeves, everything went wrong. It’s not every date that ends with a police report, after all. Ace is sure he has no chance with Kristina, but it’s New Year’s Eve and fate has thrown them together once again.
Kristina has sworn off first responder types, but it’s hard to ignore Ace’s easygoing southern charm. After that disaster of a first date, she’d almost managed to forget his heroic nature and sexy good looks--until a medical emergency brings her back to his firehouse.
Is New Year's Eve the perfect time for a do-over? There's only one way to find out, and it's starting in three, two, one...
Jennifer Bernard is a USA Today bestselling author of contemporary romance. Her books have been called “an irresistible reading experience” full of “quick wit and sizzling love scenes.” A graduate of Harvard and former news promo producer, she left big city life in Los Angeles for true love in Alaska, where she now lives with her husband and stepdaughters. She still hasn’t adjusted to the cold, so most often she can be found cuddling with her laptop and a cup of tea. No stranger to book success, she also writes erotic novellas under a naughty secret name that she’s happy to share with the curious.

Three, Two, One...Fireman! by Jennifer Bernard is an entertaining, fun read. Ms. Bernard has given us a well-written book loaded with fantastic characters. This is a fairly short read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Kristina and Ace's first date was a mass of bad luck. Ace wants a second chance but doesn't think Kristina will go for it. Their story is packed with drama, humor and spice. I enjoyed reading Three, Two, One...Fireman! and look forward to reading more from Jennifer Bernard soon. Three, Two, One...Fireman! is book 6.7 of The Bachelor Firemen of San Gabriel Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete story, not a cliff-hanger.
I voluntarily read a complimentary copy of this book.
Romance, Fireman and EMT This is a short novelette. It features some pretty neat characters and should become a series. The plot and character development is great for such a short piece. There wasn’t much sex, but what was there was too hot for my standards. It this author writes a clean version, I’ll be reading every one! I received this book at no cost and voluntarily chose to post my review.
A paramedic and a rookie firefighter have one disastrous first date. Then a second chance to woo the girl becomes available. Will the third time actually be the charm for the rookie? Only the New Year can tell... Even though this is a holiday short, it was cute, funny, and oh so flirty!
A sweet, clean short story taking me back to those wonderful firefighters at San Gabriel. Loved New Year's Eve with Ace and Christina finally getting together.
