The first thing I am going to say is I have a new favorite author! Sasha has brought forth some very strong and interesting characters and to that point, I was unable to put this book down. Brutal Savior is a remarkable story with two very candid main characters Nolan and Valentina.

Nolan is still hurting from his father's murder and wants revenge at all cost. When he finds out that the man that made the murder happen has a daughter, makes the choice to kidnap the daughter.

Valentina really has no idea why she is being kidnapped she just hopes that she won't be the product of someone that will murder her. But while she is stuck with Nolan she gets to know him and finds out that he is not such a horrible man, just willing to do anything to revenge his father's murder.

I honestly could not put this book down. I am excited to see where the next book takes us.

As I said in the Review for the first book.... INTENSE!! A Nerv-racking plot twist and a wild ride on a rollercoaster mixed with passionate love and hot sex. That is the perfect mixture for the perfect dark mafia romance. And here I thought, that I don't like reading mafia storys... Well it turns out that Sasha Leone did a great job. I can't get enough of the Kilpatrick Brothers.

Brutal Savior (Brutal Reign, #2) by Sasha Leone is about Nolan, the laywer. Whenh he first appeared in the first book, I tought he was the calm brother of all three, but it turns out, that he is just the monster that his older brother doesn't want him to be. It is just who he is. The question is, can the sweet Bratva Princess Valentina handle the monster. She is a queen. How she handles every situation is really amazing. Even if it seems impossible. 

The author did an amazing job by capturing Valentinas and Nolans character. Their development is so good. The writing is just as perfect. The plot twist really got me on the edges. I don't think I have any emotions left. Yeah.... I admit it... I cried. Hard and ugly tears. I don't think I'm ready for the last story. But I'm so excited for Taras and Shanes story. I think they are something special.

The second book in the Brutal Reign Series.
Nolan and Valentina are the main characters of this one.
Nolan is the irish under boss to Aiden who is the main character of the Merciless Prince.
Nolan is sent to kidnap valentina to get secrets out of her. Valentina hates him with a passion.
They soon begin to find a interest in each other past the hatred all the while going through find truths and secrets.
The angst between the two was smouldering.
I really enjoyed the storyline particularly the plot twists and unexpected characters popping up.
It was a action packed book fitting to a mafia novel.

This is the second book in this series but it can be a read as a standalone. Nolan plans to retaliate after his father’s death and the plan to use the killer’s daughter to do it. Sparks fly between Valentina and Nolan. Will he get the revenge he is looking for or so much more? Fast-paced mafia read with lots of drama and twists and turns. Great characters and plenty of steam. I liked it.

Another action filled ride ahead 😍😍

Woah.. With each book, I'm oh so loving this series. There's a lots of action and drama and a perfect balance of steaminess and suspense.

This one is of Nolan, Aiden's brother and the Russian princess. Unknowingly entangled in a battle for power, Valentina thinks she's getting into a marriage contract with a stranger so that her father's power will increase but has no idea that stranger is a traitor intent to deal her life for something worse.

The prologue just gave me chills witnessing the barbaric ritual of greater awakening for the Russian children. While Valentina only can hear and all around her destruction is going on, not knowing her brothers will come out of this ritual alive or not.

Nolan has one thing on his mind, revenge against who ordered the kill on his papa. When a secret comes out that the Russian shadow king has a daughter that nobody knew of, Nolan finds the perfect opportunity for bringing out the shadow king by taking his daughter.

AHH.. There are chases, then attacks, attempts to escape and drawing the enemies out to battle. But when there are enemies you didn't know about it puts all your plans to toss. When Nolan finds out about the Greek mafia and the secret society of assassins of Black Delphi are also involved everything gets all the more complicated.

I'm oh so freaking love stories which give me that action paired with mystery and oh so hot steam and this series sure is fire with all that. I can't wait to dive into the next one. Loved loved this one. ❤️❤️❤️

The book preceding this one ended with the assassination of the heads several mafia families including Nolan Kilpatrick’s father. Valentina’s father is believed to have been behind the bombing.

In addition to things like drug and gun trafficking, revenge is high on the list of mafia activities. Nolan kidnaps Valentina from her arranged marriage fiancé and then the battle of Nolan vs Valentina begins.

They are attracted to one another but Nolan is trying to extract information from Valentina. Nolan is rough with her then guilty for that. Valentina is stubborn, mouthy and uncooperative.

I like the overall story with what Aiden, Nolan and Shane are trying to do. Nolan and Valentina’s fighting Then being unable to resist one another, then getting mad at themselves for not being able to resist one another, etc. got a little tiresome after awhile. I didn’t believe Nolan could really be turned on by how Valentina behaved and vice versa. I persevered because the story is really worthwhile and I had to find out what happened plot-wise, so I liked this story but the romance didn’t do it for me.

Brutal Savior by Sasha Leone is book Two in the Brutal Reign. This is the story of Valentina and Nolan. I have read the previous book which did add to my enjoyment of this one but I do think you can make this a standalone read if you want too. Nolan is out to revenge his father's death which leads him to take Valentina to get to the man he needs revenge on. Both are enemies to the other but can't seem to fight their attraction that has them so drawn to each other. This was another page turning read and I can't wait to read more from this author.

WOW – I am at a loss for words after reading the 2nd book in this series. Sasha Leone is a new author for me and I have to say I love her work. I could not put this book down as I just had to know what was going to happen. This is the story of Nolan and Valentina. Nolan is part of the Irish Mafia and has a dark outlook on life after his father was murdered. He was heartless, dangerous and out for revenge. Valentina is the Princess of the Dark Shadow. She is young, can be naïve at times, but also a strong woman who will do what it takes to seek revenge for her mother and brother’s car bombing. Nolan and Valentina are attracted to each other although neither one wants to admit it at first. After all they are enemies.

This story has it all – deception, betrayal, action, drama, passion, lies, mystery, intensity, reunions, and secrets. There is push and pull between the two main characters and the banter between them just adds to the romance. I cannot wait for the next book to come out with Shane and Tara. I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy through Booksprout ARC’s for an honest review.

I just didn’t like how Nolan treated Valentina. At the end it was all sweet, but I’m not waiting until the very end of a book for you to finally respect the woman you love. Sasha Leone books are a little to violent for me and I’m not a fan of this series, but I will forever love Ruthless Heir.

This is the second book in the Brutal Reign series. So, the story starts where the first book left off. Nolan's out for revenge against Sergey Barinov, who killed his dad. To get to him, Nolan kidnaps Valentina, the Shadow King's daughter. But things get complicated, and Nolan finds himself falling for Valentina.
As the story goes on, we learn about some pretty dark secrets and twisted plans. Valentina's in danger from the Council of Shadows, a super powerful secret society. Nolan's got to figure out how to balance his need for revenge with his growing need to protect Valentina.
The author does an amazing job of bringing together characters from the Greek Mafia and the Black Delphi Council of Shadows. The plot's got so many twists and turns - it's impossible to put down! And, if you read the first book, Merciless Prince, you'll love seeing some familiar characters pop up again. The author's writing is addictive, and the characters feel so real.

"Brutaler Retter" ist der zweite Teil der "Brutale Herrschaft" Reihe. Im Grunde kann jeder Teil unabhängig voneinander gelesen werden, jede Geschichte ist abgeschlossen. Da es hier allerdings eine Grundgeschichte gibt, die sich durch alle Teile zieht, empfehle ich Euch die Bücher der Reihe nach zu lesen.



Schon als ich den ersten Teil in den sozialen Medien entdeckt habe, stand für mich fest, das ich diese Reihe unbedingt lesen muss. Mafia Romance habe ich jetzt noch nicht viele gelesen, aber doch schon ein paar. Diese Reihe hat seinen Titel auf jeden Fall verdient. Aber auch wenn sie teilweise ein wenig brutal ist, aber es ist ja auch ein Mafia Roman, der muss ja auch ein wenig brutal sein, ist dort trotzdem eine tolle Liebesgeschichte enthalten. Die fängt allerdings auch sehr ungewöhnlich und auch, wie der Titel schon sagt, brutal an, endet aber umso schöner.



Das Setting durfte ich ja im ersten Teil schon kennenlernen. Es ist ungewöhnlich, spannend und interessant. Einfach mal etwas anderes. Dasselbe gilt auch für die Protagonisten. Auch wenn die Brüder in einer ganz anderen Welt aufgewachsen sind, sind sie teilweise doch sehr menschlich geblieben. Trotzdem muss ich leider, wie schon im ersten Teil fragen, ob Google bei der Übersetzung geholfen hat. Mit einigen Sätzen konnte ich einfach nichts anfangen.



Der Schreibstil hat mir wieder sehr gut gefallen. Er ist flüssig, spannend und so mitreißend. Einmal damit angefangen kann man es kaum wieder aus der Hand legen. Jetzt freue ich mich schon darauf auch den dritten Bruder näher kennenzulernen. Dankeschön das ich es lesen durfte.



Nolan findet heraus das sein größter Feind und Mörder seines Vaters eine Tochter hat. Er setzt alles daran Valentina in seine Gewalt zu bekommen. Schon bald sind allerdings auch andere Gefühle, außer Hass und Rache, im Spiel...

When does the need for vengeance and revenge end...when you kidnap your perfect woman

Brutal Savior is the second book in the Brutal Reign series and is the story of Nolan Kilpatrick and Valentina Stephanenko. Both are children of Mafia Dons, his Irish and hers Russian. They are tied together by an act of violence when Valentina's mother is murdered. The finger is pointed at the Russians and so vengeance must be sought. That ends up taking ten years but it comes in the form of Nolan's father being murdered. As they say, "an eye for an eye, a death for a death". The Kilpatrick brothers do not see it this way and they want revenge on Ruslan Stephanenko. When they cannot get him the next best thing is to kidnap his beautiful daughter Valentina. What starts as vengeance however turns into something very different, especially when the sparks ignite between Nolan and Valentina.
This mafia romance is fast-paced and action filled. It is nicely written with a solid story-line and well developed characters. The story is told from both Nolan and Valentina's POV's which gives more insight into each of the characters and their inner thoughts. There are also several twists and turns which are nicely balanced and add to the excitement of the story. I quite liked this second book in the series and am looking forward to the next.

The second book in the Brutal Reign Series and this one follows Nolan and Valentina. Now this was interesting. So you know Nolan is still reeling from his fathers death and is vying for retribution. So him and his brothers have been on a mission to get back at the man that sanctioned the kill of his father. They find out that the shadow king has a daughter. Nolan sees her and something shifts in his body. He is not sure what that feeling is but he is not wanting anything change his mind. So what does he do? He kidnaps Valentina!! Hmm wonder how this will go? So Valentina is doing what she thinks is best for the family only she has no idea what is really going to happen. I get why she wants to help the family but she has no idea what she is really getting into. So Nolan needs to get some answers and this means that they will be in the same room together. So we learn a lot and as the story builds. At some points it was even scary like heart pounding scary. I couldn't tell how this was going to end. There will be a point where you will get teary eyed. This book is a great follow up in this series.

This series, this book, this author! Oh you better get ready to be walloped! This is the book where Nolan and Valentina are thrusted together and it is only the 2nd book of the series. I believe there is more to this than just the explosion at the end of the first book. I mean with all the characters it is hard to figure this one out! Yes it is brutal, yes it is gritty, yes it will bring you to your knees! It is one of those books that will keep you on the edge and overwhelmed with darkness that only will come to light when the author has given her all! Believe me she has only just begun! It is written and it will be! If you haven't met Sasha yet you are clearly living in a hole! This is one remarkable author who knows how to deliver a fantastic story! It has only gotten better and I am going to say this it will only get better continuing on. Filled with treachery, deceit, blood, and a whole slew of other things you need to prepare for. It is vicious in its delivery and oh my gosh! Such a great story left to be told!

For a brief moment, before everything went to shit, it even connected us. Like two raging stars on a crash course through the darkness. But the gravity was too heavy, and we collided in an explosion that was far more violent than it was beautiful.

I unfortunately had a lot of problems with this book. It felt like on the romance side of the plot we were just going and got the same plot line from book one and it didn’t help when I noticed that throughout the book characters names were all incorrect, for example Valentina was talking about or thinking about Nolan and then all of a sudden we would be talking about Aiden instead and it left me in parts so confusing. I also found a big ick with this book constantly had to describe her as a ‘teenage girl’ in the end it just became a really walking red flag and made me uncomfortable in the end with it constantly being mentioned. The reason I gave this book three stars was because the actual storyline had me so invested and I couldn’t stop wondering what twist and turns were coming next. I really hope that Shane’s and Tara’s story is better!

This book has it all - it’s a real page turner ! Brutal Savior can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading Book 1 in the series Merciless Prince.

Highly recommend this series and author you will not be disappointed especially if Mafia is your “jam”

I simply CANNOT get enough of the Brutal Reign series, and Brutal Savior is only the second book. Nolan is an underboss (Irish mafia) for his brother Aiden (Merciless Prince) though said brother has been trying to keep him out of the criminal side of their business, but once their father was taken out, all bets were off. Valentina is a Bratva princess but her life hasn't been a very easy life to be honest. She decides to help her family by marrying a disgusting pig of an Italian, but things went sideways very quickly, and she ends up in the clutches of Nolan, who intends to use her to get to her father (the devil who killed his father but I still have some questions left). Yeah, I know this review is confusing, but there's a lot of information in this book. It had many of my extreme emotions (like rage) out running amok, heat, and of course all kinds of crazy twists to get the f-bombs dropping. It checked off all my boxes, and now I'm very anxiously waiting on the third brother's story as it seems like it's going to be doozie! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Nolan & Valentina
I really loved this book, although the editing was atrocious in a number of places. I became really frustrating sending error logs thru the Kindle app, no idea if they are received by anyone on the other end but at least I could pick up what irked me.

Anyway, as a whole the story was going great until the part about making Valentina a sacrifice by cutting off her arms and legs, keeping her alive to make babies. WTF?!? That was SO fricking random and weird and did not fit with anything else in the story. Other than that, it’s gone on my “Go for Round 2” list and I may or may not read it again. I think the editing has put me off enough to just leave it as a happy memory ;)

Holy Crap!!!! This book is more intense then the first one. I don't know what to expect for book 3. Poor Valentina and Nolan, I don't think they knew what they were in for at all. Valentina thought she knew what she was getting into when she agreed to marry Manuel. There was no way in hell she was ready for the betrayal he had planned for her and her family. Valentina just like Nolan lost there mother at a young age. Nolan's brother was taken from his family at a young age and was returned years later. Valentina's brothers were taken by the Greek Mafia. So How are they going to bring down each other. The Russian Mafia want to get rid of the Irish Mafia and the same can be said of the Irish Mafia they want to get rid of the Russian Mafia. Who will succeed? There are so many twist and turns in this story. I was in shocked. I cant wait to read book 3 and see what happens. YOU REALLY NEED TO READ THIS SERIES. Brutal Savior is the second book in the Brutal Reign series and is Nolan's book. While this book is a standalone, it does build upon the events from the first books so I would recommend reading this series in order. I liked this book better than the previous one and it feels like Sasha Leone is getting into the groove of this world and these characters. The mafia world of the Brutal Reign is violent with quite a few warring organizations. I love that you never know which way a threat is coming from. I cannot wait to see what will happen next.

Book two of the Brutal Reign series is just as good as book one! Nolan and Valentina's story begins right where Merciless Prince ends. When the father of the Kilpatrick men is brutally killed, they want revenge. Nolan, along with his younger brother Shane and the family's war general Niall McCabe search for the man responsible, Russian Stepanko. And what better way to get that revenge then kidnaping his precious only daughter Valentina. There are so many other players, twists, turns, secrets, and betrayals. I love this series, the characters are well written, the chemistry is intense, and oh what steam! The book is fast paced and will leave you wanting so much more. Next up Shane and Tara?? I would love to see Niall with his HEA too. Great Series!!

This is the second book in this series by this author. This is the amazing story of Nolan and Valentina, these two have an enemies to lovers relationship and the sparks definitely do fly between them. This is a fast paced action packed story which is also filled with drama, passion, mystery, secrets and betrayal. Once you start to read this book you won't want to put this book down till you get to the last page. An amazing addition to this series from this author.

Brutal Savior is the second book in the Brutal Reign series and this story is about Nolan & Valentina.

Nolan is one of the two underbosses in this Irish Mafia series. His brother Aiden is the boss and features in book 1 Merciless Prince. Valentina & Nolan are both children of Mafia dons and there is alot of bad blood between these two families.

Nolan & Valentina are attracted to each other however hate each other also, Nolan needs information from Val so hes trying hard to ignore their chemistry and Val is trying to keep her walls up but is failing. When they finally give in to their feelings is it too late or will they get their HEA.

This story has it all and you will not be able to put it down once you start. Now the next book I'm predicting will be my fave out of the three brothers as I want to know what happened between Shane & Tara.

This is the 2nd book in this series and is Nolan and Valentina’s story. When Nolan’s father is brutally murdered in from of him at his brother’s wedding, he is out for vengeance. Nolan and his brothers set out to kidnap Valentina as a bargaining chip to draw her father out of hiding and she proves to be stubborn and uncooperative, but he is also forced to protect her from outside forces until they manage to capture her father. This is a well written story which is dark, intense, and with danger, revenge, betrayal, deception, secrets, violence, witty banter, and is an entertaining and riveting page turner. This is one of those stories which just has to be devoured in one sitting. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I just loved Nolans story! It was so full of twists and turns. I loved how the chemistry between him and Valentina grew as the story progressed, there were definitely some smoking hot sex scenes when they finally stopped fighting their attraction to each other!!

Be warned though, there are some dark scenes and situations in this book...which really had me on the edge of my seat and my heart in my mouth at times..im so glad though that we get a HEA and was surprised how things played out in the end but I do like books that keep me guessing right to the end and this story certainly kept me guessing!

I just can't wait for Shane's book next!!

A bit like the first, this dark romance has an insta-lust to love mixed with Stockholm Syndrome storyline in which each ones brutal past brings them closer together.

Epilogue continues their wild story to lead into Shane and Tara's.

I really liked Brutal Savior it kept my attention from start to finish and just made me want to read even more in this series . Brutal savior is book two in the Brutal Reign series you can read it was a standalone but you may run into some spoilers . The couple both have some sort of hostility towards one another but as the story went on the feelings they had soon changed into some intense moments . I'm a fan the mafia genre and I thought this was a good book It frustrate me at times with how things were handled between the characters . I can't wait to read more by Sasha Leone and more in the brutal reign series .

Good really good

Boy Valentina was a hot commodity for the Russian and the Greek. Nolan was an ass. At least Aiden was nicer to Alisa when he held her captive. I like that her brothers were in the story too. She still had family left in the end. I did not like what happened to Niall but he needs a love interest now. Tara is way too needy. Her doing the drugs is taking away from them protecting their women. Maybe Shane can yank some sense into her or give her the attention she craves because all she has done is cause problems and Alisa and Valentina to almost lose their life. So I am ready for the next book in this series because it is so good. A must read if you ask me
