I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Elle is a journalism student who is approached by her mentor to write an article about Nico Tarabello one of the professors at Brynn Marr College after an unflattering article has been published in a major paper. But one look and she knows that things are about to change, especially when he turns up at her sorority charity auction and buys her for a date, could Nico be the man that she has been waiting for?

Nico Tarrabello is a psychology professor at Brynn Marr College his career has been varied and he was originally an athlete but one who worked hard for his degree no matter what the recent defamatory article that has been published about him is trying to insinuate he worked for his grades but now with a cloud hanging over his college career another professor offers to step in and get one of his best students to write a piece on him, at first he declines but when he learns that the said student is waiting in his office he knows he needs to nip this in the bud and squash any article.. That is until he walks in his office and finds the woman of his dreams waiting for him and all he wants is her the forbidden. Elle might not know it yet bit she was made to be his so when he discovers that she is to be auctioned off for a date there is no way that he will let anyone anywhere near what is his. Will he win the date and the greatest thing of all Elle’s heart?

This is my first book by this author and I have to be honest when I say that it was just OK there was lots going on that made no real sense and the main characters were a little bit insipid for my tastes. That doesn’t mean that this is a bad read but I can’t say that I will go out of my way to read something by this author again. 3* Read.

First of all, the H wasn't actually h's professor. He just one of the lecturers in her university. Different major, different faculty. They met because of an acquaintance that they both knew; plus, H kinda needed h's to help to turn around a bad rumour about him. But like Shawn in Psych used to say:

"Rule number one. Every lie is built on a kernel of truth."

The plot was simple and predictable with fast-paced. You just kinda figured out after the first few chapters. Plus it was a quick read too. The steam and sexiness were okay.

STEAM n SWOON

awesome read! Short, but full of steam and feelz! Absolutely loved how the hero loved the heroine, his possessiveness and immediate connection to her. Also loved that he wasn’t a manwhore. And the heroine was kickass! I absolutely adored that she CHOSE to wait for the right man, that she had self respect and virtue, and wanted to give her body to someone who deserves it instead of mindlessly spreading her legs for horny losers to relieve themselves into her. Way to go girl!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Hero wasn’t a manwhore but there is mention of his past, many years ago. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to the hero. No cheating or abuse. No ow drama, very slight OM drama. HEA with epilogue.

Professor meets the woman of his dreams.

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable even while dealing with serious issues. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Cas (Cassandra) needed more of a comeuppance than just losing her position but Elle’s reasoning made sense too. Elle was a strong, talented, sweet, and smart young woman. Nico was older but intelligent, protective, possessive, and physical. When they met they were both attracted to each other. Elle was sure that she wasn’t his type while Nico knew that he wanted to keep her. Things move quickly once Nico finds out about the auction. I loved their happy ever after even though I wish there was another epilogue further out. I recommend reading this book.

This was a hot yet sweet book. Nico and Elle were fantastic together. Nico knew that as soon as he saw Elle that she was his everything, even if she doesn't know it yet. Elle is sweet and believe and standing up for herself and standing up for her believes no matter what anyone else things. I loved the instant connection and chemistry between these two. These two are sweet yet scorching hot together despite their age difference (I think it makes it so much better). I would highly recommend this book and Ms. Jaye as an awesome author.

I am going to break the 5 star streak for this book by being a little more realistic. I loved the sweetness. I loved Nico and Elle. I loved the hotness factor. I loved the happy ending. BUT - the story was too over the top for a realistic story. There is no way any university in the world would ALLOW an auction like this, much less approve of it and let a professor participate. It was outlandish. Then you have all the girls drugged without real repercussions - again outlandish. It was a good story, but I spent more time shaking my head than enjoying it. I’m going to be honest and say that I liked this book strictly because of Elle and how driven she was as a writer/blog babe/plum house queen/investigative journalist. This was an older man and younger woman romance, but that didn’t effect the story at all & it was pretty much smooth sailing in their relationship. Nico was a growly/possessive alpha who was very hot, but I wish we got more about his life and what he does at the school etc. I just wished the book was a little longer and there was more of an epilogue years out, but other than that this was a hot and light read that will fit into your day perfectly!

Our hero was never one of those guys, until he saw our heroine up for bid. It was all in a good cause after all.

This is a short erotic story of the student/teacher variety. The story is very well written with an easy to read plot and two characters that have chemistry to spare. I found the story to be highly engaging, very steamy and very enjoyable and I just kept reading until we reached out very satisfactory HEA, complete with a very nice epilogue. I will definitely be seeking more by the author.

Highly recommended.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Elle and Nico. She's ac sophomore journalist student and he's a professor of psychology. They meet when her mentor, Professor Hudson, suggests she writes a fluff piece to smooth things over after a bad pr story. But he doesn't expect to find the one when meeting her. She's got a real for being a prude after an article the year before. So when an auction happens, Nico bids to win. Great HEA in the end.

This is a great story. Yes there were things that seemed a little unreal but it is a book for entertainment and entertaining it was. I loved how from the start Nico knew he had to have Elle. Nico had to win Ella at all costs. Their relationship was warm and sweet. You cannot always pick who you love. Ella is strong and knows what she wants. Nico is older and he too knows what he wants. This is a very entertaining read.

Loved this book!

I loved reading Elle and Nico’s story! They were really cute together. Elle was different than most of the characters in the books of couples who live in Sugar Hill but I loved her all the same. She was strong and still sweet which was perfect for Nico and loved their chemistry!

Winter Virgin was a very steamy but sweet romance between Elle and Professor Nico. The chemistry between them was immediate and undeniable. Elle is meeting with Nico in order to write an article and getting his side of the story about a past incident. But after seeing Elle, Nico knows she belongs with him. If you enjoy age gap romance, you will love their story! Definitely recommend.

the use of “Kitty” was overkill

Honestly this could have been a decent instalove story if it wasn’t for the use of the word “kitty” in context to s-e-x. It made for an immature read as if it was written by a juvenile.

This was a very steamy hot but sweet romance. Elle is such a strong young woman and Nico is so adorable as he tries to fight his attraction to her. Their chemistry together is sizzling hot, and I love how he came to her rescue. They are very cute together, and this novel was entertaining to read.
