The concept of the aliens taking over Earth was refreshing even though it's been done before. The beginning opened up with two conflicts, burning questions, and a likeable main character that kept me reading. As the MC moved through the different parts of Earth, the mysteries kept on building. The ending is a huge cliffhanger, which does bother me. I like having something solid wrapped up at the end, even if there are more things that are left unsolved. I felt I was cut off right in the middle of the action.

Fantastic!

This story is totally engrossing, bringing the reader right inside the mind and heart of the unlikely heroine Rya as she courageously navigates deadly dangers for family and freedom. Can’t wait to see what happens next! Highly recommend!
