Since finding out I’m Anna Westling, a stolen princess who was raised as a commoner, I have a new family, new enemies, and unyielding obstacles. I’ve never been a problem solver, rather choosing to “wing it”, but my present situation is unique, requiring focus and effort. I have a plan in place and intend to win the game that I’ve been forced into. The players are merciless, but so am I. Each move I make has purpose, moving me closer to the finish line and away from secrets and lies. This is my life and I’ll be damned if I let anyone take it from me. This is the second book in the Savage Princess duet.

The second book of the Savage Princess series. Cannot be read as a stand-alone.

Hmm... Well, I liked the first book. This one lost me. I find the main character frustrating. I get that you're 18 but my gosh. And, this is a...

***SPOILER***

...but of course it ends with a baby making everything good and beautiful and happy despite the main being 18 and not wanting a baby for almost 2 whole books. Also, I think Camden was supposed to be redeemed at the end. Nope. There tragic but redeemable then there's tragic but you need to go now. He'd never even see my child, let alone have a spot in their life.

This book was a little disappointing.
It was pretty fast paced with a few plot twists, but it seemed like a lot of the same things. Everything is quick, something happens and within a few paragraphs it's over and we are moving on to the next issue. The writing just didn't flow well, it was more like choppy water.

I still say this duet has a LOT of potential, the story could be great with some editing and additional story added. Lets look at it as a rough draft and hope the author does a revision in the future. I'd happily read the series again after an update!

Loved this book!

2nd book in the Savage Princess Duet, and what a way to end, I loved Nick, he was so absolute in his love for Hayley, and knew he could trust her.
Hayley was a little annoying at times, but I just had to remember, it was a massive change for her, from being a nobody, to being a princess overnight.
So many twists and turns, and I’m so glad Camden wasn’t how he seemed. I felt for Nora, I really did, but I also honestly hated her.
Another excellent book, highly recommend if you’re looking for a sweet love story, with plenty of spice, and a real family feel

Enjoyed This

Lots of twists and turns in this book. This book is darker and has a faster pace than book one. I’m pleasant surprised I found this author and hope to read more of her books.

The mystery of Anna's kidnapping at age 3 is not solved here, and I wish it had been. The remaining drama was both frustrating and satisfying.

It was ok..

I was really excited to read this after reading the first book, but i felt it was really fast paced, there wasnt really much build up to anything. Also the main storyline for the first book was about Anna being kidnapped and i assumed this book would follow up on that but you don’t actually have any answers to that so im a bit confused as to why there was a second book. It would have been nice to have read about the reconnecting between Anna and her mum.
I wasn’t really hooked on the reason for her mum not believing she was Anna and the way she treated her, I actually believed based on her behaviour that her mum had something to do with the kidnapping but the reasoning, in the end just didn’t justify her behaviour for me. I really enjoyed the first book, but for me this one just seemed too rushed and no real storyline.
