I bought, read, and loved this book 20 years ago.
Then it called my name from the bookshelf during this hot summer, and I read it again now. The thesis (or synthesis? or without-thesis, as in Spanish?) is still powerful and worth pondering over, but more as a history book (the glorious architecture of the XX century) rather then a guide to the present times of scarcity, circularity, and climate change.
