When Jake gets hired to find a missing person, it seems to be a simple humanitarian mission. But when he learns that a lost inheritance is part of the picture, things get deadly as more parties enter the search.
Can Jake and his crew find their man, and more importantly, can they save themselves in the process?
Matt Lincoln has lived his entire life on the coast and he wouldn't have it any other way. A lifelong fan of Travis McGee, Magnum PI, and just about anyone who knows their way around a boat and a good cigar, Matt now lives where the sand meets the surf with his beautiful wife, a son who reminds him way too much of himself at that age, and an Irish Setter who he can never seem to tire out. Life is good.
I dive into Matt's books excitedly reuniting with "friends I've met and grown to love" and this book is no exception! And, I got yo be closer to acquaintances too! Never a slow or boring moment and always full of interesting adventure and little known facts. Was great to hang out with my friends in the intense or laid back way that Matt provides. Thanks Matt Lincoln! Waiting on the edge of my reading chair for whichever "friends" I get to hang out with next :)
I thought it was a complete failure for a book. The start was confusing and until the very end did I understand what what the starting discussion was about. Jake, former Seal, did not show any real leadership skills and was a complete failure in my opinion.
The Coastal Vigilante gives a deeper look into the olives of F Jake Header and his team. I am definitely enjoying these books and looking forward to the next installment.
This author has done it again. What an adventure, that puts the reader right in the middle, rooting for this cast of characters. I loved keeping up with Jake, and his crew, who are so strong, committed to each other and the causes they pursue.
