It may have taken Gemma James a lot longer to continue this series,but i’m so very glad she’s back!
She had her reasons,and they were personal and painful,but she’s in a good space now,and that’s what matters.
Capricorn picks up where Sagittarius ended,with Novalee having to deal with the loss of the man she loves more than life,Sebastian.
Liam does his best to help,but how do you mend a broken heart?
She lives in an almost constant fog,trying to numb the pain.
And when she’s not,all she can think about is how to end the pain…..
But the Brotherhood’s agenda will not be put on hold too long,and The House of Capricorn is next.
Which means that Liam needs Oliver to make sure nothing happens to Novalee….
That’s to say….nothing bad….like her losing her precious virginity,or worse….her ending her life.
What happens is,even though she resists at first,is her return to life in all it’s painful glory.
And what we end with,is another cliffhanger from hell!
Because who was in her room,and why????

It’s been a long time coming, but Capricorn was worth the wait.
I felt Novalee’s heartbreak right in my chest. Her pain is raw and real, and Liam’s desperate attempt to fix what’s broken hit just as hard. Then Oliver arrived, patient and steady, his unexpected kindness making my heart melt.
It took me a while to fall back into the rhythm, but once I did, I was all in. The pain, the passion, the shock at the end … it’s exactly the emotional chaos I crave. Gemma still knows how to twist a knife and make you love it.
A beautiful, bittersweet ride that reminds me why I adore this series so much.

worth the wait
I don’t even care that it took forever for this book to be published because it was worth it! I know that voice has to be Sebastian’s!
Although I didn’t feel much chemistry between Oliver and Novalee, the book is well written.
I’m happy the author is doing much better mentally. Thank you for not just putting out anything and waiting until you were in the right head space.

It took me a second to get back into the story but once again Gemma has put me in a chokehold with this story and I’m obsessed. Now I can’t wait to see what happens next and if I’ll survive!

I'm addicted to The Zodiac Queen series, and Capricorn was well worth the wait. And that ending???? It gives me hope, but y'all need to read it to find out for yourselves.
Novalee's grief bled through the pages, and my heart ached for her. Liam tried desperately to pick up the pieces, and for one night, they got lost in each other, but the house of Capricorn waits for no one.
Oliver was unexpected but necessary for Novalee's recovery. He was so patient and compassionate to her every need that I found myself rooting for him instead of Liam. He had no intention of getting married until he spent a month with Novalee.

It took a minute to get back into the story line, but once I did it got exciting. Loss, heartbreak and surprises! We’ve moved on to the house of Capricorn and what a wild ride! From chaos to a shocking ending! Anxiously awaiting the next one.

Dodici uomini. Una regina vergine. Un matrimonio combinato.
Quando ho iniziato questa serie, non ero molto convinta, in effetti se ci si sofferma troppo ad analizzare tutta la storia le dinamiche hanno un non so che di surreale, ma ad ogni libro sono rimasta sempre più affascinata da questa storia oscura e contorta e arrivata al decimo libro devo dire che la curiosità di sapere come si concluderà questo viaggio è sempre più preponderante, spero solo che per gli ultimi due volumi non si debba aspettare così tanto come per il decimo, visto che ho dovuto rispolverare gli ultimi libri per capire dove avevo lascito Novalee e gli uomini della Casata dello Zodiaco.
Come nei precedenti libri, Novalee dovrà trascorre un mese nella casata del Capricorno, questa volta, con Oliver, un altro uomo che con le sue manipolazioni otterrà ciò che vuole dalla sua Regina.
"Non è già abbastanza desiderare due uomini? Perché provo questi sentimenti per Oliver Whitney?
Ma c’è qualcosa in lui che mi tocca le corde del cuore, anche se vorrei che non fosse così."
Oliver conosce il dolore che sta provando Novalee dopo la perdite di Sebastian e forse è proprio per questo che tra di loro si instaura una connessione molto particolare sin da subito, nonostante Novalee cerca in tutti i modi di opporsi all'atrazione che la spinge tra le sue braccia.
I sensi di colpa e la lealtà verso Sebastian la conducono spesso in un vortice di distruzione. Sarà Liam e poi Oliver ad aiutarla ad uscire dallo stato di apatia in cui è caduta dopo la sua scomparsa.
Novalee imparerà molte cose su se stessa, e crescerà anche come personaggio. Più consapevole del suo potere e dei suoi desideri.
Dovrà affrontare nuove prove e verrà a conoscenza di nuove verità ma, come si concluderà il mese con il Capricorno?
Soprattutto che fine ha fatto Sebastian?
“Ci sono io qui con te”, sussurra. “Dormi, mia dolce ragazza.”
Ci saranno molti colpi di scena che renderanno la lettura più intrigante ma ancora molte domande resteranno senza risposta. Attendo con curiosità la casata dell'acquario.

She is incredibly strong, resilient in everything that she has had to endure but how much can a person take untill they break beyond repair? Once again she's facing unbearable and heartbreaking ramifications that are testing her will to carry on. The Brotherhood are not to be messed with that's for sure and there are some that want her to face harsh punishment for her so called disobedience. Will Oliver be her executioner or her savior? WTH once again the very end is shocking to say the least! While the overall book wasn't as intense as some of the past books there were still parts that had me thinking holy s#*t.
I can't wait to see what happens next in the House of Aquarius♒️. The suspense is driving me crazy I need her to come out of this mentality and physical in tact in peace and I hope with someone who loves her like she deserves.

Part 10 and you will have gathered from other reviews that it's been a long time coming, but sometimes life just has other ideas so just forget about that. It's here, we get Olivers month and what a month!..
I'm gonna be honest, as the series goes on I don't like Novalee - I said what I said - BUT I'm still gonna read all her books!
Yeah, I don't like her, I don't think she deserves Sebastian or Liam, she's flaky, she's 'woe is me' and she just annoys me. But you bet your lil butt I'm gonna keep reading because Gemma has me so invested in this story, so invested in these characters and so invested that even after so long, I still started this book as soon as possible and had it finished in no time!

The only thing that comes to mind is that Gemma James made the wait for this book worth every second.
If you've been following along with this series, you know this series is intense, but Capricorn took a life all on its own. It was raw and full of emotion from the start. I can't wait to read where this goes next.
If you haven't read this series yet, run to book 1, I promise it will be worth the binge. This series must be read in chronological order as it builds from the previous book.

I've been waiting for this one to come out. Novalee is still a pawn in the crazy world she lives in. All the men in the Zodiac Tower want one thing from her. She lost her heart to Sebastian and now he is gone. The House of Capricorn is Oliver and he wants to take Novalee to America for a show.
My heart breaks for Novalee as she realizes that Sebastian is never coming back. While Liam, The House of Aries, is always there to catch her, he can't help with her pain.
I loved this one as much if not more the the rest of the series. If you haven't started this series, I highly recommend it.

Loved this book!!! Oliver, oh my god he actually might just be my favourite!!! I’ve been reading this series over a few months and they defiantly get better! I love the dom and sub dynamic Oliver wants novalee to fall into. The ending threw me through a loop and I cannot believe its next year that I’ve got to wait till to find out what happens 😭 what started as a smutty palette cleanser read has me hooked on the plot now!! I’ll be reading about the other couple that Gemma mentions at the end of the book asap!

A long awaited book that was a good addition to the series. I have mixed feelings about her character. I understand the concept and the situation she is in but I was hoping to see a bit more from her character - maybe strength to start making her own desires matter - whether from inside or not - I just need to know that she is stronger than she is portrayed. I am hopeful yet somewhat resigned at this point. Still an intriguing series though.

Loved reading the amazing and awesome tenth book in the series by the phenomenal author, Gemma James. While Novalee is devastated after Sebastian's plane crash, she can't believe he's dead, Liam and Novalee spend a passionate night together, and then it is time for her to spend time with Oliver in the House of Capricorn. Can't wait to read the next story in the series!

OMG I was on pins and needles waiting to see what was going to happen with Novelee she was in such grief I just wanted to hug her. Now she's off with Oliver who was very different then I expected and the heat he brings is off the charts.
I love this little series so much and that endingnis killing me I can't wait for more.

Poor Novalee, all of these men trying to mold her into what they want. Oliver is interesting, in an intense kind of way. I like that her and Oliver were able to heal, or at least work through, some of their grief together. The cliffhanger at the end, wow. Is Sebastian dead or no? I'm looking forward to Aquarius, though Gemma usually leaves us with more questions than answers. LOL

After losing Sebastian, a grieving and heartbroken Novalee - who’s on a path of self destruction - must still follow the brotherhood’s rules. And Oliver is just the man to help her. It’s the House of Capricorn’s turn to host the Queen and it’s every bit as hot, spicy and exciting as the rest of the series!

This was a good story. Had a hard time remembering what happened in the last installment but I just kept reading since nothing seemed pertinent to the current story. It does end on a cliffhanger and it's pretty easy to figure it out. There were enough clues to give it away. The downside is we have to wait awhile to see what happens next. I am voluntarily leaving a review.

After waiting for this book for 2years it’s just disappointing. I’m a Team Liam girl but after this book I hope she doesn’t pick Liam because he deserves sooo much better than Novalee.She knows he’ll always be there because he loves her and she always uses that regardless if she knows it hurts him I understand the trauma she’s been through but she’s selfish and horrible hopefully the next book will be better

Capricorn is a different breed
I think everyone who reads this series will have a favorite but I think personally this book topped a lot of the others. It’s short and that’s unfortunate but I’m surprised by the whirlwind of events.
I really hope the next book comes out sooner but 3 (4?) years later I’ll still be waiting.

Ho continuato questa serie soprattutto per la curiosità di capire cosa fosse successo a Sebastián perché un po' mi aveva perso il senso.. maaaa ammetto che la chimica con Oliver non me l'aspettavo proprio! E l'ho adorata!
Al momento è il mio boy preferito tra lo zodiaco. Non ho parole per come finisce questo libro!!! Ora attendo con ansia il successivo!
