This book is utterly amazing. The skill it takes to write this type of book is so mind-blowing. Naomi Aoki is so talented. The way she's able to subtly insert things into the book that completely change what you think is going to happen. It's almost effortless.
So much happened in this book and I was glued to my screen until I devoured every single word. I thought the first book was brilliant, but this one tops that. It answers so many questions while bringing forth a dozen more. I need the next book, now.

A fantastic sequel to the wonderful Deadly Game, set in the violent criminal underworld of Tokyo.
Undercover cop Hisato is now back in the fold as a detective, but his relationship with crime boss Ogawa has changed his loyalties forever. His dangerous position isn't helped by his new detective partner whose one aim is to bring Ogawa down once and for all.
The sense of tension, danger and threat of violence never lets up in this breathtaking second story that develops the characters and situations ever closer to breaking point. A fabulous read!
