" I bought Andrew Ramdayal's PMP Exam Prep Simplified book a few months ago to help me prepare for the PMP exam. I spent several weeks searching and after going through reviews of this book and others on Amazon, I decided to give it a try. A bonus for me was this book purchase also gave me access to his PMP videos. This material and his Exam Simulator, which is very similar to the actual exam, had me very prepared and confident for my test. Finally, his "mindset" tips helped me answer a lot of questions I was unsure of ... I just remembered the mindset and answered the question based on the guidance. I had my first attempt Saturday, 6/24/2023, and I scored "above target" on all three domains." -Anthony Gay, Amazon Review on June 28, 2023

Riveting, compelling, suspenseful! An absolute page turner! The ending was a a surprise but wrapped up the book well.
Seriously, this book did a great job easily explaining the content for the notoriously hard PMP exam, which I just took and passed. This book deserves the bulk of the credit for helping me prepare in just 3 weeks. Highly recommend!
Studying the roles and approaches (eg predictive/traditional, agile, hybrid) to project managing, process groups (eg initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, closing), and processes within knowledge areas--their inputs, tools & techniques, outputs--such as within integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communication, risk, procurement, and stakeholders. PMP exam and credential reflects knowledge in applying project management standards in real life scenarios.
Not the most riveting reading, but a good companion to the PMBOK 7th edition. I just passed the pmp on my first attempt after reading this book, the PMBOK 7th, and a book on agile. My project management experience has been mostly predictive and hybrid and if you haven’t worked in an agile environment, I would definitely recommend adding on a separate agile text. I don’t think this text went deeply enough into agile and I’m not sure I would have passed (AT-AT-AT!) if I hadn’t added on the additional agile material. I didn’t use the included online classes so I can’t speak to those, but the book itself is a nice resource.
The author emphasizes communications skills in his book and videos, but it seems like he lacks communication skills, he's not detail-oriented, and doesn't seem to care about proofreading his texts. His written English is so bad and his "lectures" are so uninformative you just have to wonder if the whole point of taking his course and reading his book is just to memorize the information to pass the exam and not to gain information to use it in your future work.
This resource was good, but left me with very mixed feelings. The content is well explained for each section, I liked the books layout. However, the questions (chapters + mock exam) did not accurately reflect the new exam, they are not appropriately updated for the 2021 exam. Also there is a significant lack of proof reading, formatting errors and spelling errors are pretty prevalent. PS - I did not do the E-learning course, so my rating is only for the book.
"PMP Exam Prep Simplified" has been an invaluable resource for my preparation for the PMP exam. The author provides clear explanations of project management concepts and processes, emphasizing the importance of understanding how to approach the exam itself, not just the project management material. This book is a must-have for PMP candidates, and as a bonus, it includes access to numerous videos and mock exams. Highly recommended!
Fun developmental reading! I do owe it to this author and his course for setting the groundwork well. While I did not solely use this book to prepare for the PMP exam, it was a key element of the preparation. There were a few typos that are just a little more noticeable when you are concentrating extra hard on the material, but that is the only issue of note.
It’s on Goodreads so I’m counting it as a read 🤷🏻♂️ this book was so integral to my PMP studying and would 1000% recommend it. There are some grammatical errors and some issues but overall it’s a great resource.
Really helpful but also riddled with errors that could have been easily fixed. Only a perfectionist/former English teacher would care, probably. But I’m that person. 😂
It must be good since I passed the PMP with AT/AT/AT! Andrew Ramdayal's course really helped me understand the content and get in that PMI PM mindset. Definitely recommend.
If you're looking for a book to help you prep for the PMP this rest assured this is the book you need! I am now PMP certified largely due to the tools in this book.
