Caleb Knightly is a Professional submissive at Carnal Pleasures. After escaping a dangerous situation and reluctantly being turned into a Vampire, he is finally happy with his life. He doesn't need, or want, anything else. Until fate decides to turn his world upside down—again.
Callum Rutters and Eli Dran have been together for an amazing sixty years. They love the time they spend playing together at Carnal Pleasures. Their complex relationship keeps things interesting and they couldn't be happier. Until fate throws them into the path of someone they never knew they needed. Now, they have to convince Caleb that being bonded doesn't mean he'll lose his autonomy. Instead, he'll gain a family, something he thought he lost a long time ago.
Just as the three men are beginning to find their footing and learning how they work as a three, Eli's past returns to haunt him, and fate steps in once more. This time in the form of Lucian Drake, local Pack Alpha. Lucian doesn't know what to make of the threesome, he just knows he wants more with them all, in whatever capacity they'll allow.
However, Eli isn't the only one facing danger and Lucian will have to fight, not just for the three men he is growing to love, but for the Pack he's spent his life building and protecting.
Separately, the four men are vastly different, but together they have something extraordinary. It may not be conventional but it can be all theirs—if they can survive.
*The Carnal Pleasures series will be a mixture of various M/M and M/F pairings following the lives of the employees and patrons of the club. While this series has romantic elements, not all books will be romance. Due to language and explicit sexual interaction, it is recommended for readers 18 and up*
Summer Stanton loves three things: books, coffee, and writing. After spending years dreaming about being a writer she finally took the plunge.
She loves pushing her limits and writing about things that are close to her heart. She tries to put as much real-world stuff into her work but enjoys being creative and taking liberties when she can. Her books are full of love, family, and strong friendships and mostly have happy for now endings.
This was my 1st book by Summer & I loved it, devoured it in around 6hrs! This was a sexy & suspenseful BDSM MMMM paranormal romance! Glad to have found this book, even better as a free deal heh.
This may be part of the series but was a standalone, aside from learning everyone's name & being curious about what happened to Layla, it didn't bode me any trouble.
I loved the individuality of Callum, Eli, Caleb, Lucian & their relationship! The side characters were fun too. They've all got their quirks, some are weird (good kind).
I'm definitely interested in reading about Bane & Adam. May or May not read the other books, we'll see.
Alpha wolf + vampire + elf + witch = the most beautiful bdsm story.
If you have ever wondered if a connection between two Switches, Dom and Sub, is possible, in this book you will find your answer. But don't expect a standard love story with BDSM and paranormal elements, because the books in the Carnal Pleasures series are so much more!
A unique story and characters you just can't help but fall in love with!
Callum and Eli are a couple who have been together for over 60 years. Right from the start I was struck by how in sync they are with each other. And this is not only because they have shared their lives up to this point, but also because they have complete trust in each other.
Caleb is a professional submissive and a vampire who has been through so much. He is the unexpected surprise that changes everything and gives the story even more color. His meeting with Callum and Eli sets off a new dynamic that changes the world for all three.
Lucian shows up at just the right time to add even more pepperiness to the story. The alpha werewolf not only has an imposing and dominant presence, but is also asexual. A really unusual combination for a bdsm book, but unexpectedly good! Joining the already formed relationship becomes so natural and smooth that one thinks one has always been with them!
A lot of hot scenes follow, an undoubtedly unique chemistry, a meeting with old enemies, conflicts and of course - a little action for the finale. But in the end, it's all worth it because the four of them reach the finale they deserve.
After reading this book I can say with my hand on my heart that Carnal Pleasures is this series will forever be one of my favorites. Here we again see one of the already known and beloved characters, but we also enter deeper into the world that the authors build.
The story really touched me and made me empathize with the characters what is happening to them. It was really beautiful. And not because it's about bdsm, unique chemistry, hot sex scenes or a polyamory relationship. And because despite all their differences, Caleb, Callum, Eli and Lucian found their way to each other and created their own family.
This is my first book in this series of the Carnal Pleasures BDSM Club. It can be a standalone but does feature characters from the first two books that when I started reading I had to make a chart of who is who and how connected.
There are witches, vampires, Far, Elf , and wolves involved in The supernatural aspect of the book. We have sub, doms, aromantic, and more.
On a heat level I will say, it was scorching hot. This book shows that you can find your unconventional family if you keep you eyes and heart open. It’s
I definitely want to go back and start at the beginning to learn more about everyone. And look forward to more in this series
These characters pulled at my heart from the very beginning. Especially as I learn of their backgrounds and how they all came to be at the club. Eli and Callum have a great relationship, but when Caleb is added and he finally lets go, it’s strengthened. Knowing they all have a urge to work with Lucian makes the feelings even stronger when he chooses them all. The issues Lucian and Eli have going on adds more intensity to the story and keeps the pages turning. This author knows how to write to keep your attention, and how to make you love the characters you’re suppose to and hate those who deserve it. I’m looking forward to more in this series!
Wow. Carnal Pleasures is a BDSM club that caters to a wide variety of kinks, with a primarily paranormal clientele. There’s never a dull moment. I love that there are so many different species. It also has a MC that is asexual, and another that doesn’t like penetrative sex. Acceptance helps make a great story! The fact that the four men are so different yet mesh so well together also adds to the story. All the characters are fleshed out, real, and unique. The story draws you in and keeps you reading. I enjoyed it thoroughly!
I have to say, there is never a dull moment at Carnal Pleasures BDSM club. Callum and Eli are content in their relationship and have been together for 60-ish years but when Caleb goes on stage for a scene with someone else there’s that spark of interest in both Callum and Eli. After they get Caleb settled into their relationship only then they realized what’s going on- Caleb is soulmates to Callum and Eli by the mark on his hand. Just when these three are getting settled into their relationship Lucian Drake, the local pack Alpha, comes crashing into their lives. He is a Dom through and through but will they all work together? When danger stalks the quartet will Lucian be able to protect them and his pack? Absolutely absolutely loved the story and can’t wait for the next installment!!
Callum and Eli have been together as soul mates for about 60 years and re very happy. In walks Caleb, and bam!, he is also their soul mate. Just as these three are settling into their relationship, very hot by the way, in walks Lucian and bam!, not a soul mate but they want him too! Wow! It may sound complicated but it really works for them and after reading the story, it makes total sense for them. These four are incredibly hot together and they each provide something the other needs. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
This was my first novel by Summer Stanton. Though it was third in the series, I was able to understand all that was going on. There were moments of steaminess, love, danger, and strength of family. Caleb was a loner who found his home with Callum, Eli, and then Lucian. As their connections strengthen, the love bond stronger, they each felt emotions of the others. I loved how they supported each other, loved each other, and considered each other as new elements came into play. The ending had its sad moments but was very satisfying.
I received a copy of this story through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.
When I first read the blurb, I must admit that I had doubts about it. But once I dove in, this fantastic, grab-you-by-the-feels, five alarm flaming hot, completely unexpected, unconventional, terrific, amazing, and totally awesome story kept me hooked until the very end. I would recommend getting this marvelous gem for yourself.
interesting dynamic with these 4.. it was interesting and well written.. i enjoyed watching all of it come together and didnt feel like the author was just throwing the couple in with others out of nowhere. it was wonderfully done and i enjoyed it.
I had a lot of trouble telling many of the characters apart at first, especially since many of the names were similar. Once I got into the groove, I did enjoy the multiple interweaving storylines.
I absolutely love the Carnal Pleasures series by Summer Stanton, each book just keeps getting better as we learn more about the members that work at this club. We finially get a glimps into Eli's and Callum's story, although these two have been bonded for years, things become new and more exciting when the bonded pair, bond with Caleb and then add Lucian to the mix also, after being lonely for years maybe it's time for both Caleb and Liam to learn just how wonderful having a loving family can be but only if they can except it.
The first two books in this series have been incredible, they’re so different from all the paranormal worlds that I’ve read, but honestly both Summer Stanton and Claire Marta have done an amazing job at creating this series. I was super excited to learn that this book was just going to be written by Summer as back in the other two books both authors writing compliments the other that you can’t tell who starts and where the other begins. But the fact that Summer was going to be going solo on this excited me because I got to see how far her talents went. Honestly this book was so shockingly awesome that I wasn’t prepared for half of the things that happened. I was hooked to my seat the minute I started it and didn’t want it to end. I could see the passion that Summer has for writing and it shined so bright through her work. I have no words for how incredible the Carnal Pleasures world is, there’s always something going on, but that’s the beauty of it, it wasn’t over the top or too much that you would get tired of looking at it, instead it was the type that you just wanted to know more because of how intriguing the characters are. This book gives you everything you want in a book, the drama, the heat, the chemistry, the suspense and more… I loved all the characters in this book, they couldn’t be more perfect. I honestly couldn’t fault it and would recommend that you give this series a try because it’s all kinds of kink and you’ll just get hot by reading it.
Callum and Eli have been together for around sixty years and whilst they’re exclusive they do also have the odd scene and play with others at Carnal Pleasure as long as the other agrees. Everything is all fine and they’re both content with life, Callum has just finished his next book and he’s on his way to sit at the bar whilst Eli works his shift… Everything seems fine, until Caleb is about to head on stage to do a scene with Adam when all of a sudden magic between Callum and Eli flows out of them and hits Caleb… It’s not until after they get Caleb settled and cared for that everyone realises what’s going on… Caleb is both Callum and Eli’s soul mates and if Caleb didn’t believe that, the mark on his hand will the reminder he needs. This hasn’t happened in so long and not since Eli and Callum realised they were soul mates thanks to Callum’s family mark on Eli’s hand…. They know how to get through it, but it’s whether Caleb will be willing to work with them. Caleb’s never been dependant on anyone and as he’s not a people person he doesn’t want to be dependant on anyone now… Will Caleb decide that it’s worth everything as he’s got two amazing guys in his life who are willing to give him what he wants, or will he walk away???
Caleb is a submissive at the BDSM club and when he comes into contact with Eli and Callum they feel a pull of magic and Caleb is informed that it's because he is their mate. He is told he should go home with them because being apart from them now will be tough because of the mate bond and magic. So he really never had a choice and that bothered me.
This is book 3 of a 4 book series and I should say that I haven't read the other books so I might have been missing a little as I read this. But Caleb isn't sure how to feel at first and I'm glad that Eli and Callum took things slow with him. The thing is after taking things slow, right away they have this big scene with Caleb and while things were consensual, it was weird that they would come on so strong their first time together. So that also bothered me a bit.
Because it's the magic pulling them all together and not them taking things slow and getting to know each other, I never felt the connection between any of them. It never felt real to me. But these guys are paranormals and so are some of the other characters at the club, we get some witches, vampires and wolf shifters. So that could also account for the unnatural and rushed feelings I kept getting from all of them.
I liked the danger they found themselves in and the new person that joined them but the romance between all of them just seemed too complicated which stalled the story so many times for me. All in all not a bad story but not a favorite.
Yes we are back in the BDSM world of Carnal Pleasures, it seems like forever since we had the last book, but this was definitely worth the wait.
We have already met Eli in earlier books as he runs the bar at the BDSM club, his boyfriend Callum of 60 years is a twin, his brother we have already met. These two are switches so can be either dom or sub and this has always worked for them.
Caleb is a very quiet professional sub that plays at the club but hasn't met Eli & Callum as he is happy to be on his own after what happened to him when he was turned into a vampire. But things take a turn when both Eli and Callum recognise Caleb as there soul mate and have to give him space and time to come to turns with this.
Love the dynamics between these three when they get together as Caleb wants to be close to the pair more than just friends, and the sex and BDSM play was explosive and will leave you panting for more. There are some twists with Eli's family that try and get in the way of the three mates that will keep you on your toes with this story line.
Just as we are getting used to these three together, enter a forth in this relationship in the form of Lucian Drake the local Pack Alpha and boy he is a Dom through and through. Wasn't sure if he was going to fit in at first but then he was just perfect for all of them and he fit in so well together with Eli, Callum and Caleb. These four together were a match made in heaven and this being a BDSM, well you will need to read this to get to know there story and the attraction they all feel towards each other. Loved this can't wait for the next book in this series.
'Caleb' didn't disappoint! Suspense, steam, intrigue and one hot polyamorous dynamic.
Caleb Knightly had gone through his share of pain but found his satisfied foundation at Carnal Pleasures as a professional submissive. After being turned into vampire against one's will, it takes time to find a place of peace. Fate had a plan for his life of solitude to the already established pairing of two mates.
Eli Dran and Callum Rutters have mates for sixty years. Two men who thought their relationship was perfect as is will soon see that anything can happen when fate has a footing.
Eli, Callum and Caleb are all surprised at this new threesome. Caleb has to change with accommodating two without losing himself whereas Eli and Callum have to adapt to a third.
Well, the fun did not end there. Pack Alpha, Lucian Drake, came along as a fourth.
The overwhelming pull of a protective polyamorous relationship teaches them all to rely on each other, working just as cohesively as one despite being individuals. A bond to last a lifetime.
**I received this ARC via Gay Romance Reviews for my honest feedback.**
If you’ve read books one and two and are wondering if you should take the plunge on book three the answer is a resounding yes!
I was okay with Bane’s book and not at all impressed with Layla’s book but I’m glad I stuck with it for Caleb’s story. Things definitely improved.
Editing wise it’s much better. I received an unproofed arc copy but compared to the first two books things were much improved.
Story wise this book was awesome. We were introduced to all four main MC’s in the first two books and they definitely come into their own in this story.
Even with my feelings on the first two books I do recommend reading them first so some things make better sense in this one as there is major interactions with three of the four MC’s from the first two books.
This book is by far the best in the series. It brings the paranormal and BDSM aspects together. There are numerous scenes. Imagine 4 men, 1 Dom, 2 Switch's and a sub. You can see all the different possibilities right!
Add in a storyline and you have an excellent book. I was pleasantly surprised after the two previous books in the series. They lacked the emotional attachment that is flowing in this book.
This time you have an Elf, a Vampire, a Witch and a Pack Alpha Wolf. It's amazing how the 4 of them make it work and add in they share a house with Elias and Samuel. So there is never a quiet moment with Elias.
It will be interesting to see if there are other books. I hope that they have the emotional connection that this book has.
I really enjoyed this polyamorous paranormal read. The characters are well-developed, and they came together in a very natural, organic way. First, two become three, and then three becomes four. There are some external challenges, as well as internal doubts and questions. I loved to see men who were alone reaching out to find the family they have been missing. With four people coming together, including a definite Dom and sub, you can bet there are some steamy scenes. There is action, romance, danger, and drama. I enjoyed the mix of paranormal peoples at the club, too (wolves. vampires, witches, etc.) I have not read the other two books in the series, and I think this one works just fine as a standalone.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.
This is one very unconventional book. You have a Dom, Sub and two Switches in a relationship. They don't do things the normal way but it works for them. Callum and Eli are in a relationship already but after one night at the club, they discover there's more to their family then just them. Enter Lucian and Caleb. They all feel the spark and make this unconventional relationship work. Everything in this book is not what I normally read about but it didn't make me cringe. It was all done with consent and loving care. This series of books was unique due to the supernatural aspects and the types of sexual acts the guys were interested in. It was good series of books and after reading all 3 books, I can clearly say Adam and Bane are my favorite couple with Samuel and Elias following after..
So much happening in this book i don't know where to start. A mated couple surprisingly find more to add to their unit in the most delicious of ways. I enjoyed everybody get acquainted with each other and learning what turns them on, a shock of an extra addition but it fit really well. We still get appearances from others in this world and I loved hearing about Elias and Bane's antics and their punishment. My heart was racing when a threat appeared to take out Eli and anyone he holds dear but a most satisfactory conclusion. I could of done with more backstory but I'm hoping for more stories from this world.
I haven't read the first two books in the Canal Pleasures series and yet had no problem following this storyline. Set against the backdrop of a paranormal kink club, it's the story of Caleb, a vampire with trust issues. Fate binds him to Eli, an elf, and Callum a witch. They are soon joined by an asexual Alpha werewolf, Lucian. The author seems to delight in taking kink/sexual stereotypes and turning them inside out and upside down. They manage to make it a fun ride and keep you interested. Some of the stories in this series will be MM and some MF. Not sure hoe I feel about that. But if the writing is just as good as in this book, maybe I'll give them a try.
Ok, I will officially follow this series and its two authors anywhere! The first book was a great take on a m/m D/s relationship, the second convinced even skeptical me that I would enjoy their m/f books and now we have a polyamorous story that is as good as the previous two. Again, we have great characters, an interesting take on both the D/s relationships and the polyamory plus there is the usual addition of some suspense and danger. Very very happy to have found this series and it authors.
Compared to Bane (I skipped over Layla), I enjoyed this one so much more. Overall, the story was more polished and easier to read from a technical standpoint. The polyarmory was presented well, with relationships and feelings building over time and each man having a special dynamic with the others, separately and together. My biggest complaint was the abrupt action at the end, like the authors suddenly realized the outside dramas hadn't been addressed. I can see reading this one again and wanting to read the next when available.
One of the things that I am really enjoying about this series is the diversity of shifter types, sexes, orientations and more. This book starts out with a couple who have been together for a long time and then they add on to this relationship. There are also reappearances of good and bad characters from other books. From the way the story line goes it appears there will be more books in this terrific series. This makes me happy because I can’t wait to read them.

So a witch, an elf, a vampire and a wolf shifter meet in a bdsm club…….. Sounds interesting doesn’t it well Callum and Eli have been a mated couple for a while. Then enters Caleb who also becomes mated to them. Along comes Lucian to join them. This story has drama and hilarity. Kia is Eli’s brother who is hunting for him and will stop at nothing to harm him. Samuel is Callum’s twin brother and his mate is Elias who is a trouble maker but in a fun way. I really like this story it’s full of gasps and giggles.
Weird stuff... Callum is a writer; Eli (an elf) a bartender & Callum's BF, but Eli has a soul mate in Caleb (a vampire) & they both live together with Samuel (Caleb's brother) & Elias (Samuel's mate) & I don't think my notes have got this figured out correctly :( Anyway, 2 witches, an elf, a wolf, & a vamp all live in the same house... Then Adam (a vamp & Caleb's Sire) is with Bane (a wolf) who belongs to Lucien's pack - Lucien being the Alpha wolf; & Lucien is forging a friendship/relationship with Callum/Eli/Caleb in order to have a 4-some... Totally weird - but OK :D
Caleb is the third book in the series and is M/M/M/M and can be read as a standalone but features characters from the previous books. There are some supernatural elements but not used to full effect. This book is different from the first two and a lot better and easier to read. Some of the scenes are really hot and steamy and the BDSM elements work.
