I'm in a thing! So excited to be part of this steamy anthology!
Hint, my book features a side character from the Diamond Doms series and he has tattoos. So does the heroine. I cannot wait for you to fall in love with Mitch and Amalia!
I have read several of these stories and found them to be delightfully sexy tales filled with a lot of emotions and steamy passion. The stories may be short, but they pack quite a lot in each telling.
I was drawn to this collection because of THE WILD ONE. If you’re a fan of Tawdra Kandle’s Love in a Small Town series, you’re familiar with Kiki Payton and Troy Beck. Well, this is their story, and it is a wild one. The emotions are strong and fiercely felt as Kiki struggles with her feelings, wanting to push Troy away, just as he fights to keep Kiki close, not only in his heart but by his side. It’s a wonderful love story that will tug at your heartstrings and leave your heart full.
This is just one description, but I know it holds true for the other stories in this collection. Of the ones I’ve read so far, they are complete vignettes that will leave you completely satisfied at the end of each tale. They’re heartwarming, inspiring, charming, and well worth the read.
I definitely have a favorite story, you’ll have to find yours. I’ve also been introduced a bunch of authors I didn’t know yet, and I’m itching to get some more books! Worth the read!
Love these novellas! My favorite from this anthology is by L Ann-Waiting On Wood. I love Wood and Tami’s banter both full of sass and wit and of course a HEA. A must read novella that needs to be turned into a full novel! A must read.
A great collection of short romances, all with HEAs. There are MF, FF, MM, and MMF stories included.
Overall, I thought this was a great book. It was nice to discover new authors and get a taste of their style. Since there is such a wide selection of stories, it was also nice to read a coupling or trope that I wouldn’t normally pick.
It was hot, hot, hot! I enjoy reading the novellas for a change from the novels every now and then and this collection was perfect. I purchased b/c Eliza Peake is one of my favorite writers, and she didn't disappoint in this one. But the other stories in the collection were fun...and oh where is my husband...
I am not one for short stories or anthologies, but as soon as I saw that L. Ann had a story in this anthology, I knew I had to read it. This review is for Waiting on Wood by L. Ann
It's no secret that L. Ann is one of my favorite authors, and regardless of whether she is writing a 500+ book or a short story, her writing is always impeccable and I know I will get a wonderfully complete story. This short was no different. The wealthy writer and the housekeeper... yes please! It was fun, hot, and of course steamy. My only complaint I wanted more! But then again, I always want more.
5 stars for this steamy as sin anthology just isn’t enough. Thanks to this anthology I now have a bunch of new authors I’ll be reading. Grab a strong, cold drink and get comfortable because once you start you won’t be able to stop until the very end. 🖤🔥❤️🔥🖤

This review is for Country Songs & Righting Wrongs by Dylann Crush
It is never too late to begin again.
Morgan Yancy was not thrilled about returning to her home town of Swallow Springs. It had been 5 years since she left. Her dream of becoming a country star in Nashville was everything she had hoped for, but lately her song writing was lacking. It no longer had heart. She needed her mojo back, so she returned home to hopefully get some inspiration.
Ryder Williams knew about losing one's hope. An injury stopped him from his ultimate dream to play NFL football. Morgan and Ryder were like two peas in a pod in High School until Morgan left to try and make it big in Nashville. I love hometown second chance romances especially when it comes with a HEA.
The Marriage Pact by Delancey Stewart packs a lot of steam and heart in a short story! I love friends to lovers and this story of childhood sweethearts (they got “engaged” at 8 years with a Ring Pop!) finding each other again as adults hit the right notes. While I would love this as a longer story, this was a tasty little treat. I’m sure the rest of the stories in this collection will be just as satisfying!
Great collection of stories though I definitely wish some were longer. Awesome way to find new authors to read and follow. Perfect when you have limited time to read!
Steamy, an anthology, is a collection of 20 short stories that will satisfy everyone's taste. What is great about it, if you're like me and hate to stop in the middle of a story, is that you can pick it up and finish one story in about an hour, then shut the book and go about your day until you have enough time for your next story. Or you can read through the night because you cannot get enough of it ;)
In this anthology, recognised, best-selling authors along with emerging ones take us around the world, all across the United States, from the humid South to the busy Northern cities, from the Big Apple to the rural Midwest and from lush Ireland to the wild landscapes of Australia or the English countryside, there's really something to satisfy everyone's curiosity.
Of course, when you pick up such a book, you don't do so to go on a geographical discovery (though I found it a nice bonus) and on all other aspects, the book delivers too. The stories have well built characters that you want to learn more about, in a wide variety. I was happy to read stories about youngsters falling in love in their twenties, because that's what you hope for every young person. But I was also very happy to read stories with older main characters, who had a later start in life for various reasons, or who had to start over.
It was also great to see all sorts of love stories depicted, not just the usual one man-one woman. There are 4 stories I can think of that show unusual relationships, and I am really happy to see so many different representations in simple, genuine love stories that don't feel the need to prove a point, just to show a great story. They are actually part of my favourites.
I won't name all the ones I really enjoyed, because I enjoyed them all, but the ones that struck me most are Heating Up, by Heather Kinnane, the story of a single woman rescued by two hot and very obliging firemen; this one was hot on many levels. Australia, that must be why.
Bumper Crop, by Jessie Harper, a second chance story with two older main characters who meet over a tomato plant (with a background of older parents and dementia, I liked that the story really had it all);
First Time Feels, by Lasairiona McMaster, where two best friends realise they have feelings for each other. One of my fave authors, with her usual in depth characters, humour and sass, and one Hot Hot Hot scene!
Country Songs and Righting Wrongs, by Dylann Crush, a sweet love story between two stars on the verge of losing it all, in one small town in the middle of nowhere.
Nobody's Perfect, by Nadia Mack; I LOVE how Mack brought this story along, how she made her characters come to life, exuberant but somehow still totally credible. Really well done.
The Marriage Pact, by Delancey Stewart, or how a sweet childhood love is reignited after years apart, even under the least favourable circumstances
Embracing Her One, by Danielle Pays, well written story of a second chance romance.
The Wild One, by Tawdra Kandle, because it is... wild and unusual :)
Waiting on Wood, by L.Ann; this one is a jewel of British humour and sass. well written, you sort of know where it's going, but you want to know HOW it's going to get there. And the path is lovely, to say the least.
Back To You, by Cynthia Terelst, takes us on a journey through Australia and these two characters' second chance and both are a beauty to enjoy.
Sweet Tooth, by K. D. Elizabeth is a fun story of enemies to lovers; how she managed to make it work so seamlessly in such a short story is impressive: her characters have depth, the story feels plausible, and I was hooked.
Rocks, by Ivy Nelson; a story which shows that kink and abuse are two very different things, and that D/s is all about respect.
I feel like I've named them all, or close to. They are all great stories, some just more to my taste than others :)
But thanks to this anthology, I have discovered new authors I didn't know, and I'm thankful for that. You should all run and grab this book!
There should be a bit of something for everyone in this anthology of short, steamy stories, I am reviewing the story by one of my favourite authors, Tracie Delaney.
Out of Sight
This was a sweet, sexy but emotional second chance love story. When Booker ended things with the love of his life, it broke his own heart as well as hers, but at the time his reasons were clear..... protect Cass from the hell he was about to go through.
This story had a lot of depth considering it is a short novella. It will pull on your heartstrings, it did mine especially as it parallels a lot of my current reality so I completely empathised with all the emotions both Booker and Cass went through. Two lovely characters who also deserve their HEA and a well written story easily read in one sitting.
What a great way to help keep you warm on a cold winters night!! The stories were so much fun to read and a good way to maybe find a new author. Melinda DeRoss was one of my favorites, but all were fantastic.
I downloaded this with my kindle unlimited subscription and it was perfect. Each story is unique but engaging. I am so glad I read this. I have some new authors to add to my list of "must reads." I highly recommend this.
Steamy is a great collection of short stories to make you swoon, giggle and just keep you entertained for a few hours. I don’t usually read all the stories in these things , but as I started to go through I found myself enjoying them.I have noted some authors that I would like to explore further and look forward to reading some of their other stuff.
Wow! What a fantastic collection of steamy stories! Everything from best friends, to best friend’s brother, from mobsters to employees and the boss, so many different tropes explored and executed exquisitely.
I now have a whole lot more authors to add to my TBR pile.
This is a collection of very short, sexy, steamy stories by a bunch of new and familiar authors. You get second chance romance, military romance, MMF romance, BBW romance and much much more. If you like shorts you'll love this book. Some characters & stories I liked some I didn't. Free with K.U. 2.75 stars
Not quite what I expected. Some of the stories are very good. Some totally not up my alley. I bought this book because I like Cat Johnson's books but I didn't know any other authors. I might check out 2 more after reading their stories, but not the rest.
