I absolutely love Olivia T. Turner’s books, and this one was no different. It had the soul mate, over the top, possessive, insta love, that I adore. The protective love between Roman and Bailey is inspiring and so sweet. The sex is positively filthy and steamy. The epilogues are sweet and satisfying.
The only thing I’ve noticed about her shifter books that I’m weary about, is that the heroine is never ever a shifter even if she has a shifter parent, and I feel like, after so many of these kinds of books, there’s no way NONE of the guys’ mates are shifters too. Especially when every single one of their children are always shifters. Girls included. So what? The shifter gene in women skips a generation?...even that theory has flaws. I don’t know. It’s not a huge problem. Just a thought that keeps popping up when I read that yet another mate is born of a shifter father, with a shifter brother, but she’s human...
Don’t get me wrong, though. I will still be devouring anything else she releases next. I’ll just be wondering.
