Elizabeth thought that after all they'd been through, the bad parts were over.

Guess not.

After saving herself and her little boy from abductors, Elizabeth yearns to put the terror behind them, to cocoon with her son, safe and secure at home.

Court hearings confirm that they suffered the worst betrayal possible. She never dreamed that she'd have to battle the law to protect her medically fragile little boy when his life and sanity are on the line.

When her son is targeted and taken, Elizabeth will do anything to save him.

WOW!! I absolutely LOVE IT! Once I started I couldn’t put it down for longer than I had to and hurried then to pick it back up again. I can see why trusting was so hard for this mom and what happened to her when she did. I know we cannot do things alone and if not family then definitely friends beside us to help. Highly recommend this book.

In this book Sharon brings us another chapter in the life of Elizabeth and her son Timothy.
Again we get a look into the psyche of both as they deal in their own ways with being the victim of an abduction—she unable to trust and her son retreating into silence.
The antagonist is all kinds of creepy, well written insight into an unstable, twisted mind.
Elizabeth is facing the trial of her soon to be ex for her attempted murder, while trying to keep Timothy as close as possible. When new people begin to trickle into her life she must decide, is it better to continue to be alone, or can she trust new friends, and allow them to enrich her life in ways she never imagined?
This is a great book!

What a ride. I just finished proofing an advance reader copy. This... this is gripping. When I got to a certain point I had to put it away for a while because it tapped into my own fears from when my son was little; in my head I knew Timothy (and Elizabeth) were going to be all right but my heart was overwhelmed. Add the fact that Dr. Mitchell is a romantic at heart (not that I mind!) and you have a compelling story that is otherwise very hard to put down. Go read GONE first, if you haven't read the short story with Keira and Daniel, that next, then TRUST. You will not be disappointed.

Trust: a Psychological Thriller is an exceptional book. If I could give it six stars, I would. While one of the characters is a four-year-old who has seizures, please don’t think of this as a book only for people who have a child who is not neurotypical. I read this book in one sitting; it is very captivating. Dr. Sharon A. Mitchell does a great job of further developing the main character in this book series. Trust is book 2 and Elizabeth continues to be challenged and grow. Trust could be a standalone novel, but since Book 1 is good, too, I recommend reading both of them!

This one will also twist us up. This author has that ability to take us into these worlds but not let go anytime soon. Elizabeth and her little boy already been through a full plate of stuff but that will not be all. Then the worst will happen and Elizabeth will do anything to get her boy. We will stick like glue to the pages as we quickly turn those pages tensing up as it goes. Of course there is the title for a reason and we too must trust that the author will be gracious and give us some relief at some point.

This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series!
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down.
Can't wait to read more of these.
Recommend reading.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

Though this was the second in a sequel, in which I had not read the first, it was easy to read as a stand alone. It was an enjoyable read revolving around a single mother with a son who had seizure issues. The mother found it difficult to trust anyone due to what happened in the first book. Therefore, she took her young son with her everywhere. She was certainly a helicopter mom and other things were going on. Being court ordered to have her son see a psychiatrist is a very difficult thing for her to do...with mysterious results!

Trust can be overrated

Elizabeth and her son had been kidnapped. Little did she know her husband was trying to kill her for her inheritance. Things just got worse when she was ordered to be evaluated by a psychologist. Read to find out the exciting context of this book.
Well written and kept my interest from beginning to end.

Such a great follow up to the first book, like nothing I've read before. I could see where it was going about halfway through, but it didn't diminish my enjoyment of the story. Had a hard time connecting with the characters in the first book, but that was remedied in the second book. Really looking forward to the rest of this series.

What a nightmare

In this second book of the series, Elizabeth and her son Timothy are recuperating from being kidnapped by a stranger, which thwarted a real kidnap-murder plot that her ex-husband planned. That's a lot of trauma to overcome and things are not working out well for Elizabeth.

After being kidnapped Elizabeth and her son Timothy are rescued by the police as her husband is trying to kill her. When the courts and the Doctors seem to be against her she will do what ever it takes to keep her son safe. This is a great story and I can not wait to read more by this author.

Great Series

This second book of the series was even better than the first. It’s hard to let people in, but this story shows how welcoming people in your life can change everything.

What a great book! Doctor Sharon Mitchell can really write and if you have any interest at all you’ll be hooked. She really unfolds the minds thoughts in this book and what happens sometimes when you trust someone. Then the word trust really unfolds as we go to the ending, brilliant. 5

It was nice to wrap up the story of Elizabeth and Timothy. However, I don't think I would continue with this author. Her storytelling style kind of left me bored.
The cliffhangers and plot twists are not dynamic enough for me.

Psychological thriller

Good storyline. A woman raised to bow to authority , trusts her son’s pyschologist until she takes her son to her home for a week! What professional does that??? A good read.

I felt this book was just a continuation of the first book, Gone, except that Elizabeth is suffocating her son more now than before the abduction. I was unable to really get "into" the book and enjoy it the way I do most books.

I was given an ebook by the author and this is my voluntary & honest review.

' TRUST ' is a story about Elizabeth, her son Timothy and her fight to save her medically fragile child, both emotionally and physically with her life at stake.
The characters were well fleshed, the storyline was quite gripping, all together a full feeling thriller.
Thank you so much to the author for sending me an ARC copy of the book in exchange of an honest review.
