Gaither, Raven Steele, Ava Mason, Carrie Ann Ryan are some of my favourite authors with their strong female mc’s and addictive storylines. The stories are intense and exciting, suspenseful and intriguing and all have paranormal beings such as witches, shifters, vampires etc...

“Moon Kissed: Wolves of Midnight Bundle” is a compilation of five full-length shifter stories, lead on by alpha extraordinaire Aimee Easterling and a pack formed by some of the best well-known authors in the genre, such a Stacy Claflin, S.M. Gaither, Raven Steele, Ava Mason and Carrie Ann Ryan. The bundle offers in around 1200 pages everything the genre has to offer, from alpha to omega, with some beta and lone wolves in between, mated love, pack boundaries, supernatural wars, and enough shifter romance to satisfy every taste. A fantastic collection for both, those newbies wanting to sample some excellent stories, and those others already acquainted with some of the authors, looking for new names to add to their TBR list. Good chances are a new favorite is lurking between the pages 😉

Half Wolf (Aimee Easterling)
Fen Young is hybrid human/wolf who is both an Alpha and a basically nice passive person, who does not really like the aggressive nature of Alphas…. until she meets Hunter Green über-alpha who takes her breath away and throws out of the pack…

Lost Wolf (Stacy Claflin)
Victoria memories have been swiped clean, before she came to college, but now her math professor (Toby)is stirring the memories back, and he knows it. Toby saw Victoria dying in his arms, but now the happiness of getting her back is marred by Victoria’s lack of memory.

Descendant (S.M. Gaither)
After a vicious werewolf attack that almost killed her, Alex is thrust into supernatural world and a ragging war, and forced to take sides. Alex struggles to trust and make the right choice, because in the end the fate of the world depends on her.

A Shifter's Curse (Raven Steele & Ava Mason)
Briar is invested in exact revenge on the Alpha who killed her whole family, whatever it takes, and what it takes is her joining his pack to able to get close enough to him. This is a fast-paced, interesting story, even if Briar is too sassy for her own good more often than not.

Tattered Loyalties (Carrie Ann Ryan)
A soul-mated story between Gideon (Alpha of the Talon Pack) and Brie, who is the daughter of the Redwood Pack Beta, and a nice girl, who would like nothing less that live in peace and far from pack politics. Knowing that an Alpha needs a strong Alpha female, she has tried to stay away, but fate has other plans.

I binged the first series...

My rating is for the entire four book collection. I tried averaging out my rating of each individual book.

Half Wolf was great, five stars. I actually ended up pausing this collection to binge that entire series. One book of Fen and Hunter wasn't enough. The entire series was great, really enjoyed getting lost in their world for a few days. Fen's arc was well defined and expertly crafted. I admire her fierce protectiveness to those she lives, especially when she second guessing herself with no idea what she's doing. I can totally relate to that.

Lost Wolf was interesting. There were aspects that annoyed me a bit, few logic faux pas type things, and lots of story elements that seemed important but ended up not being relevant in the end. It was a bit frustrating to have no link or resolution, no epilogue promise to address it in book 2. So for those reasons, I can give it three stars, but enjoyed it enough I'd like to give it four but can't. I did look for the series at my library, would read the second book, but can't afford to buy it and didn't love it enough to use my grocery budget.

Descendant was an interesting premise. I enjoyed the twist between werewolf and lycan. Alex drove me nuts with some of her attitude, but at 17 that's pretty much to be expected. Her snarky retorts made me laugh and I couldn't help but like her desire all the times I wanted to smack her upside her head. I looked for this series at my library too, not available. If read book 2, so 3 stars here also.

The fourth book, Shifters Curse, I wasn't able to finish. The idea behind the plot was interesting and I enjoyed Briar's spunk. But there was a lot of violence. If it's pertinent to the story, I can deal with some, but this book seemed like every chapter had a fight just to have a fight. I got through torturing the roommate because I understood how that related to the point, but having a knife through an 18 year olds eye...if I keep reading I'm afraid I'll have nightmares. I can only give one star because I can't finish reading it. If you like violent scenes, you may like this one more than me.

Overall, I'd recommend the collection, but might consider a violence rating to warn people of that last one. It's a bit of a doozy.

So far, I have only read Half Wolf by Aimee Easterling, so my review is based solely on that book. However, I am familiar with some of the other authors and look forward to reading the rest of the books in this bundle. Each is the first in a previously published series but is a complete, full-length novel.

I really enjoyed Aimee Easterling’s story about an insecure half-wolf trying to lead and protect her newly formed pack. While this is the first book in the Alpha Underground series, the story stands on its own. I was quickly drawn into the story, which held my interest. I liked the characters and wanted to find out what would happen to them. There was action, humor, mystery, drama, and romance.

The main character, Fen, made some obvious mistakes, and communication among her pack was often poor. However, I think that made sense in context. A large part of the story is Fen’s development, both getting in touch with her own wolf and learning how to lead a pack, and you don’t get that kind of growth without making some mistakes. Urban fantasy offers plenty of powerful heroines these days, but I actually prefer stories that allow the main characters to grow more.

That said, I am giving this story a 4 rather than a 5 because I was occasionally a little frustrated waiting for Fen's understanding of the situation to catch up with my own. However, there were also a couple surprises that I didn’t see coming. Overall, this was a fun and satisfying read.

The editing was fine. Readers should be aware that there is some violence and one sexually explicit scene. Personally, I wasn’t uncomfortable with any of the content.

I’d recommend this story to anyone who enjoys character-driven urban fantasy/paranormal romance. I’m looking forward to reading the other books in the bundle.

Enjoy stories with strong heroines who are not afraid to go for what they want no matter what and these books kept my attention all the time. Still reading.
Half Wolf by Aimee Easterling
Fen was leading her new pack as an alpha, a weak and unskilled one but anyway an alpha. Her leadership was teetering, her chicken wolf was not helping, and the Enforcer was stalking them. and they got involved in a very dangerous situation. When a mysterious group was kidnapping and killing halfies Fen and her small pack got involved in a very dangerous situation. Circumstances had added new mates to the pack, and all was not peach and cream. There was distrust, misunderstanding and even deceive and betrayal. But what seemed to be the obvious wasn’t and soon things got more complicated, the action fierce and Fen had to make her mind and stand for what was duty and protect her pack. Really enjoyed the story, the characters, the story line, Fen inner bickering with her wolf and of course, her scenes with Hunter. Seems she was not without resources when it came to her attraction to Hunter. Liked the author’s writing style. The characters were interesting, the narrations and descriptions detailed with Fen’s comments and even her cluelessness at was around her was amusing.
A Shifter’s Curse by Raven Steele
An exciting, intense, dark and action packet story with intriguing characters, vampires, wolves, witches, betrayal, revenge, lot of violence and suspense. Liked the strong female characters, three different women with their own drama and hidden intentions that kept me reading eagerly all the time. Enjoyed the twists in the story, scenes that I was not expecting and how the authors kept me intrigued.

I have been provided with a copy of Moon Kissed: Wolves of Midnight Bundle by the author for an impartial review. This box set has the following titles Half Wolf by Aimee Easterling, Lost Wolf by Stacy Claflin, Descendant by S.M. Gaither, A Shifter's Curse by Raven Steele and Ava Mason, and Tattered Loyalties by Carrie Ann Ryan. I’ll be updating my review as I finish each title.

Half Wolf by Aimee Easterling

Lost Wolf by Stacy Claflin

I absolutely adored this book. It was such a quick and easy read that I didn’t want to put it down until the very end and immediately I wanted the sequel. The characters just drew me in and made me fall in love with each one of them. Victoria and Toby are just adorable together and they’ve gone through so much. It’s just heartbreaking to see all the things they have gone through together and apart and I truly wish for them to have a beautiful life together. I can’t wait to see more of them together in the following books. If you enjoyed the Transformed series you will enjoy this book as well. Not only is this book a fabulous read but you run into some characters that are in the Transformed series. I absolutely loved this book.

Descendant by S.M. Gaither

Moon Kissed is a great box set!

The first story is one of my favorites. Half Wolf is Aimee Easterling's 1st novel in her Alpha Underground Series. Having been kicked out of Wolfie and Terra's pack by the Tribunal uber-alpha, Fen and her small entourage spend their time wandering the outback territory searching for a place to call their own. But now, young, female "halfies" are going missing and/or are being butchered by someone hoping to clean up the bloodlines. Fen and one of her pack mates are halfies and proud of it. Fen is taking this personally and decides to investigate. Can Fen figure it out in time, or will her snooping deliver a prime alpha halfie princess right into the hands of the enemy?

This is definitely a sit on the edge of your seat read. The storyline is fast-paced and well written, filled will unique werewolf lore, danger, political intrigue and determination. The characters are well developed and engaging. It's always enjoyable to see players return from previous series. As for this series, can't wait to read book 2!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "MOON KISSED" This is a fabulous collection of stories from some great authors full of suspense, intrigue, danger, Witches, Shifters, Vampires, twists that make these addicting reads.
"A Shifters Curse" by Raven Steele/Ava Mason I love these two authors books always such a pleasure never disappoints. Briar's family has been the protectors of Abydos Blood for centuries if gets in the wrong hands it could destroy the world what an adventure lived it.
"Tattered Loyalties" by Carrie Ann Ryan very well written this is Gideon ALPHA of Talon Pack & Brie the daughter of Redwood Pact Beta she like to stay away from pack politics.
Brie & Gideons journey as fated soul mates isn't an easy one he needs a Strong female to be his mate he trys to avoid it but fate has other plans for her it was an awesome read.
I definitely recommend to get this amazing collection of stories so well worth the read it won't disappoint page turners all of them with great interesting entertaining characters.

Some good, some not so good

Half-Wolf was a good one, and I've liked her other books. Lost Wolf actually bored me a bit, and the way it was written felt odd. Descendant wasn't bad, and I would probably read the rest of that series even if it's YA. A Shifter's Curse was a little too dark for my taste. I can do without sadistic characters of that type. Tattered Loyalties was good, but the use of dirty language to describe genitalia every single time there was a sex scene turned me way off. So overall I gave the bundle a four, particularly since it was free. I don't know that I would have parted with actual money for any of the books but Aimee Easterling's. Maybe Tattered Loyalties, if I could get past the adult language. I get that some people like that kind of thing, but I'm not one of them, and it definitely ruins the story for me. I don't think any of them were so good that I would actively hunt down the rest of the series. The best shifter series I have seen is Ghost Mountain Pack by Audrey Faye. Beats this bundle by miles.

Review of 'A Shifter's Curse' by Raven Steele and Ava Mason

It's an interesting beginning of a serie. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't more romance in the story, but I'm guessing that this will take place in the following books. I'm not sure whether I will buy the following books to continue the story.

There are 12 books in the series and each of the main characters (a witch, a vampire and a shifter) get a few books about them with the others helping them. I makes me think of the 'Demon Days, Vampire Nights World' series by K.F. Breene. And although I immensely enjoyed reading that series, I just don't think the authors of this book are as good in writing a fluent story that keeps you interested.

I was soo hooked on this fantastically amazing box set from the very first page and could not put it down till I was done with the very last page of the last book. Five stars are not enough for this box set and believe me when I say you will NOT be disappointed when you read this. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about shifters, vampires, witches and paranormal romance.

Lots of different mythologies...

My favorite is Tattered Loyalties. I love the characters of Brie and Gideon, they're both protective, selfless, and so giving of themselves. This story doesn't get bogged down, it keeps you ramped. And I really like the mythology. It does have an overarching storyline that spans the series, but it still stands alone as well.

I also read Half Wolf, Fen and her little pack are on a strange ride. Hunter is hard to get a bead on, but eventually proves his worth. Their tale did not go as I thought it would. The story drug some, but was worth the read.

Good

I do not like cliffhangers, or books with no end, or conclusion.
Out of all of the books in this set, which is a sample of books from each of the authors. The last one is the only book that has me buying the next book in the series.
Seriously, the story is so strong and captivating, with violence so strong you could not make a film about it without an X rated certificate.
I have never read and enjoyed a book as much as this.
The 1st 2 books are mediocre, the 3rd was better, and they all left cliffhangers.
The 4 🌟🌟🌟🌟s are for book 4. It would have been 5, I want a complete book with a start, middle and end, conclusion.

4 stars - Lost Wolf is the 1st book in the Curse of the Moon series by Stacy Claflin.

It's full of an interesting, diverse group of characters - werewolves, vampires, witches, trolls, shifters, and Valkyries. It has entertaining relationships, romance, and heartache.

Tattered Loyalties is Book 1 in the Carrie Ann Ryan's Talon Pack series which is a spin-off from her Redwood series. Gideon is Alpha in the Talon Pack whereas Brie is a submissive in the Redwood Pack. Brie caught a glimpse of Gideon at a young age which turned her off towards other men so she is very innocent. My heart broke at times for Brie. Wanting so hard to fit in and prove her place in the pack despite the odds. The story was filled to the brim with action, adventure and it kept me on the edge of
my seat.

I look forward to reading the rest of the stories within this collection!

More than werewolves herein!
While the focus of this collection is on Lycans, there are other paranormal beings in these novels as well. The world-building is superb, the characters are fresh and original, and the stories unfold with a nice pace that keeps you engaged. While each of the authors have unique styles, the combination is quite powerful. I have been a huge fan of Stacy Claflin in each of her genres, but this box set was a great jumping off point for new voices to follow. Enjoy!

I immediately started with Carrie Ann Ryan’s Tattered Loyalties. I was so excited she was included in this collection. Gideon’s is a strong, dominant alpha that fights for his struggling pack. His unlikely submissive mate is no less strong or vital to the packs survival. Brie’s ability to listen and calm the pack is so critical for their future but it is her ability to fight with the pack when threatened that makes her the ideal alpha mate. Despite not wanting a submissive mate, Gideon cannot deny the pull to his true mate and their love blossoms when he opens his eyes to Brie’s true nature.

I love Aimee Easterling, so when I had an opportunity to read this set, I jumped at it. All I can really say is that I have 4 more authors that are on my to read list now. All the stories in this bundle were excellent and well written. They all had great characters. There are some really steamy scenes so no under 18 readers. There is also violence in some of the stories so if you are easily triggered, don't read the set. I couldn't put the books down and have already started on the second book in one of the series. I highly recommend this set of books.

I struggled with this collection and ended up skipping book two.

It was also disheartening to realize all the cliffhangers and after getting through a book only to find out it was not the end, didn’t feel satisfactory. I would love an anthology book to contain standalone books, not first in a series.

I probably will not continue reading any of the book series and I do agree with an earlier reviewer that the fourth book should have a violence warning on it. It was very dark and bloody and while it’s pertinent to the story itself, a small head up might’ve been nice.

It’s several books in one. Some of the authors are less than stellar. I like shifter stories but some of these took it past the traditional shifter and morphed their stories into some type of hybrid. Having stated this, it’s just not my thing, they took creative license to a whole other level.
The stories also ended rather abruptly. I wasn’t in favour of those endings. I can honestly say that the only book that really captured my interest was the last one, enough so I purchased the book that followed in the series. I’m thankful this was a cheap read.

I've only read Half Wolf by Aimee Easterling (which I gave 5 stars but don't know the other authors and so have dropped one star).

My Half Wolf review:
Wolf compulsion.. Usually, the pack leader is strong and knows that they are strong. Fen is a good leader but, as a half-blood, her wolf half is quite weak. I intended to read for about 15 minutes before doing some gardening - about 75 pages later (ch 9), I finally forced myself to go outside. lol (and finished later the same day)

Lots of wolf shifter magic in each of these books with mates, pack fights, wars, and love. I have a special place in my heart for Carrie Ann's shifter worlds and Tattered Loyalties was awesome....sometimes what you fear most is what makes you the strongest and the path for Gideon and Brie is rough and rocky until they get out of the way. If you love the paranormal shifter world grab this awesome bundle.

Enjoyable combination of books. I read all of them in a matter of days, it was hard to put it down. Exciting heroes, magical creatures and lots of adventure. I've read some of the authors before and enjoyed their novels. Some of the authors were new, but I'll definitely be checking out their libraries. Well worth getting.

I received an Advance Reader Copy of Tattered Loyalties by Carrie Ann Ryan and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wow! What a great start to a series. Loved Gideon and Brie as well as their families and friends. I loved how this story wrapped up Gideon and Brie's story but left the perfect hook for the next story and the rest of the series.

I loved this bundle of paranormal stories. They were full of action, danger, suspense, mystery and wolves. Each story was different but so hard to put down. Hard to stop at just one. I laughed, cried, groaned and screamed a few times while I read them. But was widely entertained. All are great authors and this set is a great way to try them all out.

All the stories are really good. You get caught up in the action in each story and do not want to stop until the end. I now have more authors of books to read in the future.
Each one has its own strong points that makes them so interesting that you do not want to stop reading until the end.

I enjoyed each book so much, I had to purchase this bundle when it came out. While each story is linked, they are all stand alone HEAs. Each book has differing points of view about shifters and pack life which in mho, adds to the uniqueness of this series. If you enjoy shifter stories, I think you'll enjoy this series.
