Was ein Finale

The ending was cute, I really enjoyed this and being the first manga I've read completely, it was fantastic.

I loved the artwork and the ideas behind it. I loved why he got sent to hell and how everything turned out.

Truly a cute sexy smutty read.

P.S. I'm weird, the more nudity the better, this has plenty of nudity ;)

Final y me quedo algo frío.

This is the final volume of this short manga. No point starting here - read from the beginning.

After a strange encounter with a generous sinner and her demon, Rintaro ends up completing odd jobs for various demons are his city. Throughout the associated mischief, he becomes increasingly obsessed with why he was sent to hell and finding out what his sin was. Numerous plot threads from previous volumes come together in Love in Hell's conclusion. Rintaro's sin and the specifics of his situation are both logically built and shocking. Though there are still touches of humor things get much more serious and darker as the story builds to a climax. The focus is tight in the second half of this volume and it really adds to the suspense and impact.

Surprisingly (given the previous volumes) Suzumaru is still finding ways to make his story creepier and more grotesque. I can't begin to properly convey how disturbing certain things were, and the worst of the bunch didn't even have visuals (for obvious reasons). It's all important to the story and the characters, but be warned we're talking the stuff nightmares are made of here.

While a great number of details from earlier in the series proved significant and the main plot came together wonderfully, there were characters and events I expected to have significance that didn't pop up again. Certain aspects of Hell and its rules could've used more explanation.

It's a sign of a strong finish when my biggest criticism is that the concept and characters could've easier supported a longer series. This volume is darker and more intense and the usual subject matter warnings apply even more than usual, but overall Love in Hell comes to a great conclusion here.

This is it: the finale to this rather short but very interesting series. We finally get the answers as to why Rintaro is in hell, something that I'm sure that most readers were intensely curious about it. It's heartbreaking when you read it and I have to give Suzumaru credit in that he was willing to go as far as he did. You don't see anything and perhaps that's what makes everything so queasily surreal and horrifying. It's left up to the reader to picture the scene, try as hard as you might to NOT picture it.

The artwork here is pretty well done, although I'll say that the best parts are usually when Suzumaru is trying to unsettle the reader by showing the horror of a certain human being or how gruesome a devil can actually look. It's kind of jarring in comparison to how cutesy some of the artwork can be at times, which gives off an uneasy feeling.

Story-wise, things tend to go fairly quickly in this volume as Suzumaru tries to wrap the story up and come to a satisfactory conclusion. It probably could have extended for at least one more volume, but I'm happy with how things progressed and I think that this probably wouldn't have fared very well by being one of those 6-7 volume tales because the story here is pretty limited once you get down to it and lends itself better to a shorter format.

If you've bought the previous two volumes, this is definitely worth getting. If you're still on the fence and were waiting to read opinions about the last volume before diving into everything, I give it my recommendation.

Rated "Older Teen" this book skirts the the borders of a Mature rating but it is Seven Seas Entertainment so their ratings might differ from other distributors. After all I do not believe there is anyone regulating ratings in manga like they do in movies. All tat aside this is the 3rd and final book in the series. If the partial nudity, violence, and all around expected bad things from a book with Hell in the title have not turned you away by now then you are probably ready for the conclusion.

Rintaro meets girl, girl gives Rintaro money, Rinaro discovers the girl was short rent and is tortured for the difference so he gets odd jobs to pay her back. (curious about what he spend the money given to him on It is an interesting part of the book.) In the mean time Rintaro finds answers to his past, meets new demons, and demonstrates bravery above the call of duty for the woman he cares for. In my opinion this was a good conclusion to the story and although the imagery is disturbing at times it is also beautiful at times. If you can handle the complexity of these opposites then you might enjoy this 3 volume series.

My favorite part of the book has to be when we first see King Enma. King Enma is so huge in the series all you see is a foot so thankfully he has an emissary to communicate with the normal folks. :)

Honestly I can't say enough good things about Love in Hell. The third and final volume was great if not hard to read at times. I won't spoil anything but the story does get very emotional around the half way mark. Defiantly a must read (just beware a few spots of fan service and some adult topics, nothing too bad).

A perfect and surprising ending to a great little series! Although it could have been great if it hadn't been cancelled ahead of its time... such a shame.

The series has it's fun moments and the final revelation of why Rintaro's in hell is satisfying, but the resolution is rushed and only a few of the side characters get any closure.
