This is not just a great book on individual and project management teams, but perhaps the best one on overall project management I have ever read.
Dr. Wesley Donahue did an excellent job breaking down the challenges that face any organization at any level. He writes not from a theoretical perspective, but directly from being a sublime educator who dedicated his entire life to teaching leadership.
This masterpiece is extremely well written and practical. The suggestions and advice can be immediately implemented regardless of the industry.
It proved to be a very quick read and loaded with excellent insights. The author takes lots of examples to facilitate understanding and I found myself learning so many things about this particular field that I’m grateful to him.
I absolutely recommend this piece of work. This is a good book to read and re-read.

Dr. Donahue has broken down core values that make up a competent business to show how it can work productively and efficiently. By reading this business management book you will see the years of experience and labor put into his work. His principles are useful for large companies as well as small ones.
I love when I can pull gems out of a book that I can later use in other aspects of my life. Gemba walk is one of those gems that I will use again as I take a closer view of my productivity in work, family, and life. This book is intricate, detailed, and covers areas most businesses would have thought to cut out waste and boost productivity.

Radical work changes at my hands
As soon as I read the title “Unlocking Lean Six Sigma”, I felt my eyebrows frowning, and the voice inside my head saying “What?!”. Fortunately, something inside me also told me to give this book a chance so I decided to buy it.
I could not imagine what I was about to read, and I did not imagine how much I was going to learn. I am profoundly grateful to Dr. Wesley E. Donahue, the mind, heart and hand behind these pages. The author shares a methodology for managing work processes that have revolutionarily changed my days at work.
As the writer suggests, the methodology he simply and accurately describes can be adjusted to most working environments. For this reason, I recommend this book for those who are intrigued as I was or for those who need a change at work.

This book is a gem in a lot of ways. Unlocking Lean Six Sigma: A Competency-Based Approach to Applying Continuous Process Improvement Principles and Best Practices, written by Dr. Wesley E. Donahue, is a self-help management book that talks about work-related process and how you can make it a successful one by simply improving your capacity.
I find this book a great guide especially to professionals working in an organization where team work is very important. The author was able to demonstrate his specialty when it comes to principles and best practices and these can be applied in the setting where you work. The book was realistic and I love that it's very sensible and professionally written. I believe that I will be able to apply these things especially because I am working in an organization where skills in interacting and a hunger for success are a must.

A useful, must-read guide!
When it comes to useful ideas and pieces of advice, I dare say that this one has plenty of them. “Unlocking Lean Six Sigma” is a useful book written by Wesley Donahue.
The whole book is a guide towards a better development and performance in any job. Throughout the reading, I found very interesting quotes, examples and worksheets that helped me understand some of the main points of the author. Every chapter includes valuable information and also tools that are worth putting into practice. I believe that it is a must-read because people need to adapt and modernize in terms of strategies and development. In fact, I tried to apply something of what I learned with the book. All in all, I highly recommend it!

“Unlocking Lean Six Sigma” is a fantastic guide, it felt like I was taking a course because it has it all. The learning part with the info, the graphics and charts to facilitate the learning and also some exercises and questions to see how much we comprehended after the read. The best part is that I went back and forth with the questions and the information to really understand some concepts.
I think this is a guide for all, having tools and resources whenever something comes up or whenever I want to take action or something that facilitates everything.
To conclude, I think this is a book readers should not miss.

More than a book, a mini-course
This was a well outlined book that ended up teaching me a lot, it also includes links to videos that reinforce what you're reading. It feels like the author did care about sending the message through and share part of his knowledge in this book. I can say that I learned different things.
