STORY:
Second book in the Burly Creek Mountain Man series. I am still invested in the brothers and their sister because I get excited, wanting to see how they will meet their other half. I like Russell’s story. It’s quick, simple, sweet and sexy. Just like a novella, everything happens quickly, but I like that it’s quick and to the point. Josie was feisty and very independent, and she was a good match for Russell.
CHEMISTRY:
In the opening scene, I love Russell’s reaction at first seeing Josie. It gives you that excitement and anticipation of what will happen.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS
We didn’t see much of Russell’s family like the first book for Salem. The original book, we were being introduced to the family.
Overall, it’s a sweet, sexy, small town romance that moves rather quickly and it’s still entertaining.
***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read and hope this review was helpful.

Her Persistent Mountain Man is the second book in the Strong Mountain Men of Burly Creek series. This is a fast-paced and entertaining insta-love romance between Russell Strong and Josie Byrd.
Russell is the Mayor of Burly Creek. He loves his town and his family and works hard as the Mayor to improve everyone's lives. He may be one of the Strong sons, who founded the town and own the mountain, but his way of giving back to to be the Mayor.
Josie has moved from California to Burly Creek after being hired as Strong Lodge's new manager. She is just starting her job and has not met all of the family yet. Josie is a strong and intelligent woman who wants to prove that she is capable of running the lodge.
Russell sees Josie through a crowd at an event at the Lodge. He is immediately attracted to her as she is beautiful, but there is something else there also. But before he can even say hello he ends up stepping on her toes when he intervenes to try and save her from another guest at the event. Let's just say that Josie is more than peeved at the big man. But Russell is not deterred as he is determined that the sexy little firecracker is going to be his for ever.
This is another fun and sexy story in the series which I quite enjoyed. The story-line is fast-paced and the characters are very likeable. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series to see which brother falls hard next.

Russell is the second brother in the Strong family and the mayor of Burly Creek. While honouring his late mother at Strong Lodge, he lays eyes on the new manager - and he is a goner. He chivalrously comes to Josie's rescue when a smarmy guest bumps into her - but the sassy, independent woman is not overly appreciative. But that will not deter Russell - he knows from the moment he sees Josie that he wants her forever, and the big, burly, alpha mountain man is used to getting what he wants. It doesn't take long for Josie to fall for his swoon-worthy pursuit. These two have chemistry and their banter is entertaining. This is a fun, quick, steamy and sassy read.

This is the second book about the Strong brothers who live In Burly Creek each book is a stand alone that takes about thirty minutes to read While you don't need to read them all and in order I would recommend that you do as they are just sheer good fun reads

Josie Byrd is the new manager of the lodge and doesn't need any man to protect her Soon these two are striking sparks off one another will it take them long to realise that she isn't weak if she takes hiss help and he doesn't need to protect her from everything in life Can they have a future You will have to read to see

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Her persistent mountain man is the second book in the ‘’strong mountain men of burly creek’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Russell is the mayor of a small town and part owner of his family inn. Josie is the new manager of a small town inn. When she meets Russell sparks fly but will love blossom?
The chemistry between Russell and Josie is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

Good gracious, our main characters Russell and Josie, have some serious chemistry going on. Josie certainly tries to fight it, because this woman is strong, feisty and likes to fight her own battles, but once they get on the same page and understand each other, she starts softening towards the man who is already seeing her in his future. It’s hard to resist a man who knows what he wants. A sweet and steamy 30 minute read that’ll keep you thoroughly entertained!

Honestly loved this one more than the first book in the series. Russell see's Josie from across the room and steps in when she is being harassed by a hotel patron. I loved how strong Josie was in pushing back against Russell and how much Russell enjoyed it rather than be intimidated by it. I felt like these two were both pretty strong alpha personalities that were circling each other the entire story, until their date night when it all came to a head. Super fun, fast paced read, very enjoyable!

I love this story! When Russell sees Josie for the first time, he is instantly attracted to her. When he steps in to save her from a sticky situation, Josie is not impressed. What will it take for Russell to change her mind and give him a chance? I love his determination and her playfulness. They both know what they want and communicate well with honesty and humor. A perfect short and sexy insta-love romance with a good plot and likable characters! 5 stars

Self Reliant
Josie is irritated when Russell the Mayor steps in to save her. She didn't need saving and is self reliant and can take care of herself.
Russell knows the moment his eyes land on Josie she's the woman for him. From across the room he can see how radiant she is and confident. Together they discover they are stronger and love powers them on.

Another great book
I'm beginning to love this family. Russell and Josie make a good couple. She was working at the resort when they met. Russell is the mayor and also a Stone brother. Two Stone brothers story done, a couple or more to read about. Read the books you will enjoy them. Written by Cindy :)

This moves quickly but it doesn't feel rushed. Russ and Josie have amazing chemistry and the story itself is written well and grabbed my attention. It's short and sweet which is exactly what I needed.
