"I love writing, whether it be song lyrics, technical papers, ranting in a blog, or more lengthy topics worthy of a book. It is remarkable that writers today have a voice through such easy online publishing. So much more time is freed up for letting the creative juices flow, which instead used to be spent pursuing and persuading publishers. The world benefits from this new freedom. I’m glad to be a part of it."
I'm so sick of coming across this. It's a waste of my time, especially since there's a 95% chance I'm not going to purchase the next book in the series.
I get authors make more money from writing series, but at least have the decency to put a cliffhanger if I can read the first book in less than thirty minutes.
I mean it's an okay book.... I just would have liked to see where it went from there in the book. Like did they fight? Did they get together? Do they end up hating each other? The questions that are being left unanswered in this short story. However if you like that then go ahead and read it.
I find it so disingenuous when the author fails to mention in the blurb that the book ends on a cliffhanger. Didn’t like the writing style: usually I don’t mind reading books written in the 3rd person but for some reason this was hard to read. Will not be reading the rest of the series.
