Samantha and Kathy are witches who protect the nonmagical from evil. So when they spot a coven of harpies targeting Mark, a nonmagical man, they immediately rush to save him.

With the threat of the harpies still looming over Mark, the sisters learn more about him and the target on his back. Namely, that the harpies are hunting him to drag him to hell to pay for his crimes against a young woman. However, that presents a dilemma for Samantha and Kathy: do they follow their duties as witches and save the man who harmed a young woman or do they step aside and let the harpies drag him to hell to pay for those crimes?

The clock is ticking and the longer it takes Samantha and Kathy to decide what to do, the more innocent people that will be hurt by the harpies while they wait to sink their claws into Mark.

Harpy is the first book in the Coven series, which serves as a prequel series to the Under the Moon series.

Surprisingly really good 💯

Harpies are one of my favourite mythical creatures, and there's never enough stories or information about them that I suck it up like a sponge. The next book is about sirens, and I'm all aboard, can't wait.

An excellent book!

Two sisters are living together and are witches. They are trying to help everyone even people that belong to the harpy’s. They save 1 guy and make him go to the police station and confess his crimes.

I absolutely loved this book! It was like I was actually there with Kathy and Samantha. It’s definitely one of the best books I’ve ever read. I have to say I’m very impressed with the writing and the whole story to be honest. Every single morning I would wake up and tell my mom everything about it. Thank you David Neth for writing this amazing book!

Samantha and Kitty are sisters, they are also witches. After seeing three harpies attack a man, they begin to check out why they attacked. The witches know he must have done something wrong since Harpies only go after really bad people. Find out what he did and what happens to him in Harpy

I chose this book for the description as I am a big fan of witches, but unfortunately, the book didn't grab my attention. The opening was boring and full of exposition, and we don't learn about the women being witches until chapter 4. The first 3 chapters could easily be removed, and it wouldn't affect the story at all. A good developmental edit would help improve the story. It's a shame because it's a good idea, but the opening might put readers off.

The witch sisters spend their time saving non-magicals from magicals. They see a guy being attacked by 3 harpies trying to drag him to Hell and so they protect him. The problem is that he isn't a nice and probably deserves Hell.

At the same time, they are trying to retain their boyfriends who don't know about their witchiness and so get annoyed at the behaviours of the witches.

Good characters

OH, I LOVED THIS BOOK! I adored Kathy and Samantha who were witches who tried to keep their secrets while they tried to live a normal life, but their big hearts kept them from doing what they really wanted to do when three Harpies were after humans who greatly sinned. I too wanted Mark to GREATLY suffer for what he did to Linda!

Ridiculous.

The characters are lacking in depth of any kind. The dialog, if you want to call it that, is unbelievable. I can't justify finishing this. Life is too short to waste time reading lousy books.

There was no development of characters in the book. The sisters just kept running after the harpy.
