Wild Vamp is the second book in the Jaded Vamp series by L.D. Wosar. This is the first book that I have read by this author. I didn’t realise going into the book that this was the second book in the series. I really wish I had realised that and read book on first. But having said that, it didn’t take too much for me to figure out what had, and was, going on. But I think having all the previous books info would definitely have enhanced my reading experience of this story- so I will definitely be going back to read book #1.
This is a bit of a gritty paranormal romance- with vampires, action, violence, angst, family, vengeance, sizzle, battles, and a bit of a dystopian feel.
From what I can gather, this book takes place decades after the events in book one. Kaysee Belluomo is a powerful vampire, who along with her coven, are on a mission to world of the Vycans (a vampire/lycan hybrid). So, get set for a violent, blood-soaked, action-packed adventure- as Kaysee not only has to deal with the Vycans and the ensuing battles, but also an enemy with a vendetta- as well as trying to find her missing husband and son. No rest for the wicked here!

Thank you, L.D. Wosar!

Wild Vamp (Jaded Vamp Book 2) by L.D. Wosar is a romance story. This is a fast-paced vampire tale that I enjoyed from start to finish. I thought vampires were done to death, but LD gave us a fresh look, and I loved the humour sparked with the action, the danger and adventure to make it a good read. The timeline of the story has jumped forward by quite a few years compared to the first book. If you love a little grit and grime, violence, and blood then you will love this.

At the start of this book I was so angry with Dominic. How could he do that to Kaysee. But as the book went on I began to wonder why he was so stubborn. He let his coven dwindle down to practically nothing and he stayed in the wasteland of Vegas when he should have moved on. I wondered if he had given up.
When Dominic and Maverick are taken by the Vycans, its up to Kaysee, with the help of Liam and Rosa to come to the rescue. Hopefully she gets to Paris in time.

This is the second one I have listened to. I absolutely love the narrator he does an excellent job with all the different characters and I just find à good narrator draws you into à story as much as the story line does.

I enjoyed this second book, I found it flowed way better then the first but still had à few scènes it jumped to that I felt I was missing something.

The 3 stars are based on my own issues. I hate how Dom cheats in this, I was almost hoping he was under a spell for all of the cheating aspect. It really bugged me that he got away with that BS. I also am not à fan of certain slang words used to describe the female anatomy, I find it makes it very crued vs steamy. I prefer the regular main stream d'inscriptions to go with my steamy scenes.

Still the Book was enjoy able bringing lots of female power, action and lots of steamy bits.

WILD VAMP (JADED VAMP BOOK 2) by L.D. WOSAR - Review by Gail Guerrero

Five Stars

Any book with an amazing female lead gets my approval. Seriously Kaysee is an amazing character. Even when her world felt like it was crashing down around her she didn’t stop. She had some serious decisions to make and those decisions could change so many lives. The most important one to her is her son. Can she be forgiving to the hybrids after all they have done? The world that the author created is simply amazing. The details alone draws you in and puts you right next to the characters. Seriously just by the summary of the book I was ready to jump in and get lost. I definitely recommend this serious if you need something fresh to read. Something not like the rest.

While, this book is the second in it’s series I have only read this book in the Jaded Vamp series by L.D. Wosar. I was at first a little lost, but it didn’t take long for me to catch on. I absolutely LOVED this book. It was full of romance and action, my two favorite things. It had a strong, bad-ass, female lead, which I love! I’m also a sucker for vampire novels. I loved the writing style of L.D. Wosar and the creativity found in this book. I give it 5 stars- I will definitely be going back to read the first one.

What could be more challenging than vampires and werewolves? Hybrids!! Yes, Kaycee, queen of the local coven, just wants respect and to kick some butt to protect her coven from Pantheos and his group of hybrids. Kaycee is a strong feminine character that shows courage and determination. She is a good leader when the rest of the coven listen. Told through multiple POV’s, we do see the story from many angles which helps keep the plot easy to follow. It was a good story for the paranormal fantasy loverl

Wild Vamp (Jaded Vamp Book 2) is the second book in the Jaded Vamp series. While you can read this as a stand a lone, I recommend reading them in order. L.D. Wosar takes Underworld to a whole new level. This novel is set in the future. While I enjoyed reading it, it left me a little confused. More so because I started with book 2 instead of reading them in order. L.D. Wosar is a wonderful author. Wosar takes an imaginative step into the future and describes what could happen.

I jumped into this book not knowing what I might find but wow - what a ride. I really enjoyed the fast pace and characters development. Lots to enjoy. If you love a good paranormal romance with lots of plot movement, immediately pick this up. Now I’m headed back to pick up the rest of the series. So good!

Wild Vamp by L.D. Wosar is the second book in the Jaded Vamp series. This is an action packed book that really is great to read. Personally I wish I had read the first book in the series before this one as it felt like I was missing out. It didn’t take too long to figure out what was going on story wise but I would have liked the character development.
I really enjoyed Kaysee. I thought she was such an intriguing character and I really want to know more about her! Overall I really enjoyed this book. I will definitely be going back to add the first book and will continue the series.

A paranormal story with drama and suspense. It was a very well crafted story with palpable emotion throughout. I liked how everything was woven together to enhance the drama. I requested a copy of this book and am voluntarily writing a review.

This is the second book in this series and is set 50 years after the first book, I will totally be going back to read the first book. Vampires are running the world and it is absolute chaos they are fighting to be the most powerful. Kaysee is a strong female lead who is portrayed amazingly and Dom is hot and and does not mess around when he knows what he wants. There is so much adventure and humor in this book it was great, but could of done with some more erotic scenes. Cannot wait to read the next book.

I give Wild Vamp (Jaded Vamp Book 2) by L.D. Wosar, 4 stars.

This book was completely different than book one. The characters that are in both books have changed drastically and we are now 50 years in the future. The story has a lot of action that starts right away with twists and turns that keep you guessing the intentions of the characters and wondering what will happen next. It is set in multiple locations in a distopian landscape.

This urban fantasy/distopian novel is full of action, creatures of the night, and some hot scenes. To me, it is reminiscent of the Underworld movie franchise.

What a great follow-up to book 1. The characters are great and the villians you love to hate. There is a great meld of romance and action. I can't wait to read the next book.

This is not the typical genre that I read and I still found both the plot and characters well-developed and interesting. L.D. Wosa has created a fascinating world where vampire/lycan hybrids are threatening the vampire community. In Wosa's book "Wild Vamp," we follow the efforts of Kaysee Belluomo who is trying to rescue her vampire husband from the Coven. There is a lot that is happening in this story which keeps the pages turning. Even if you aren't sure about the vampire storyline, you may like the action element of the story. Since reviewing this book, I will be sure to read more from this author!

This is for those over 18 only due to adult content within.

Kaysee Belluomo is a vampire, but she isn’t just any vampire, she is the head of the Milite Coven along with her husband Dominic Belluomo and they are the elite of the elite of vampires, but one day in 2030 that changed when they were made aware of an individual who was creating a hybrid of a lycan and a vampire to create a new super race of supernaturals. Unfortunately, reports were that slowly but surely, they were taking over the USA and recruiting to their coven with the promise of power and a better life and most were taking the vampire in charge of it up on his offer because of his talent for persuasion. On this particular day they had invaded the Milite Coven headquarters and that is not something that Kaysee is impressed with in the slightest, however, her husband's reluctance to do anything apart from strategise and make plans has Kaysee all riled up and after blood.

Forty years later and Kaysee’s predictions have come true and the Milite Coven have moved to Las Vegas in the hopes that they can find a food source and stay one step ahead of the hybrids following them, however, this plan hasn’t worked and the Coven’s members have diminished from over a hundred to six including Kaysee, her husband and her son. As they go hunting for hybrids in McCarran Airport Kaysee is still being undermined by the men in the Coven and she is getting sick of it, however, because she is a deadly fighting machine and completely head over heels with her husband, she goes along with the plan, albeit reluctantly, however, on one of these hunting trips things start to go wrong. After they have returned to the hotel and Kaysee finds out that her son has spoken to the leader of the enemy and has some opinions on him that don’t quite match up to his parents one, an argument ensues and loyalties are questioned and the next day while going to confront said leader, they split into teams and some split off on their own, however, when the time comes to leave, some of her Coven are captured and turned into more of the hybrid puppets. Due to this unexpected loss, the Belluomo’s decide to recruit some newborns from a group of humans who are still left in Las Vegas, so after they feed, they start taking the group back one by one to rebuild the Milite Coven back up.

When two of the missing coven members return to their home base, one is completely won over and the other is the opposite, enhanced, but still loyal to a fault, so when they are ambushed by hybrids and lycans alike on home turf, Kaysee does everything in her power to protect those who are left, however, her husband is kidnapped and flown out of the USA and overseas to Europe. Kaysee is devastated and retreats into herself for a few days before snapping back out of it and planning the rescue of the two men she loves most. Will Kaysee be able to successfully rescue her husband and son all while wiping out the rest of the Hybrid Coven, or will the past come back to haunt them and reduce their plans to cinders? This is a rip roaring romp of a paranormal romance with passion, violence and sex throughout which leaves you on no doubt of who is in charge and what happens when a female vampire is scorned.

Things are changing in the Milite Coven. Kaysee is home in Santa Barbara while Dominic has flown off to Italy on business. There's a security breach at the Coven estate and word is out that Panthaos, the Lycan/Vampire is on the property. He has been amassing an army of hybrids by promising the smaller vampire communities a better life. Panthaos isn't doing this on his own; no, he reports to Claudia Mandra whose ulterior motive includes the Belluomos. She is Dominic's creator, and long-time lover, who considers Kaysee the only roadblock to getting Dominic back in her bed, something he says he'll never do. He fled Claudia half a century ago, when her possessiveness became too much to bear and this is one little detail he's failed to mention to Kaysee. Now, in the present, Panthaos is on the move and he's turning some of the Milite coven, with intentions of hitting the Belluomos where they live. Once their son, Maverick, has fallen under his spell, Kaysee and Dominic aren't prepared for how his attitude has changed. The members of their coven stand with them, and the fight against Panthaos and his hybrids is on. Claudia has a devious plan and, as it plays out, Dom is spelled into a situation he will live to regret. The ending provides the basis for an intense and complicated story that could spell the end of life as the Milite coven, particulary their leaders, know it.
Aaron Smith's narration is impeccable. His dynamic voice provides characters who have a clear attitude and unique personality.

5 stars!

I did not read the first book and I didn’t feel as if I was missing too much information, but I wish I would have read it first. The second book is easy to follow along and I was quick to get pulled into the story. Kaysee is a badass vampire, everyone in her group seems to like her and feel they wouldn’t really be together if it weren’t for her. Her husband Dominic, from the way he acts to how the others describe him, seems like a really douche bag. It seems he can’t functionally rule over his people any longer but is stubborn and won’t take help from a woman, his wife. The fact that Kaysee has been faithful to him for all the years they have been together hurts me when I found out of Dominics infidelities, especially since he lies every time that he won’t do it again. When he comes face to face with his maker, Claudia, again, nothing good comes of this meeting and Kaysee is in the dark about what goes down between the two. I hope when she finds out she leaves him for good, and I hope in the next book to see Claudia taken down. I highly recommend for any paranormal romance lover! Bring on the next book!

I was so excited for this story. The first book in the series was badass and this one didn't disappoint. I was thrown back into the world of Kaysee and Dominic. Kaysee is feisty and stubborn. Dominic is all around alpha with soft spot for Kaysee. They are now running the coven. But there are forces that want them destroyed. This story goes ahead in time. The world is not how we know it to be. I don't want to spoil anything. There is so much action, romance, drama, comedy, and lots of steamy scenes. We meet Kaysee and Dominic's older now son Maverick. I loved him right away. And in this book, he takes me on whirlwind of emotions. I promise you when this book ends, it won't be enough. Let me just drop the word HYBRIDS. You'll definitely need more. I can't wait for the next book to be in audio. This narrator is superb for this series. The way he does the different voices blew me away. I forgot it was one person doing it. A must read/listen for paranormal romance fans, especially if you love steamy romance with lots of action.

This is book 2 in the Jaded Vamp series and I really enjoyed it. The book had me gripped from the beginning to end and has left me on the edge of my seat for the next one.
The story is is quick fast paced chapters which keeps the reader hooked and turning pages to find out what happens next.

The World is being over run by hybrid vampires. Vampires are leaving their group to gain more power and times are hard. Kaysee  and Dominic know something needs to give and ending the life of the creator of the hybrids is the only way to stop it.

However things don't go to plan when some of their Coven including their son Maverick go missing. Add to this Dominic going missing too and Kaysee has a fight on her hands to save her people and find and save her missing husband and son.

Will she get to them before its too late? Can she stop the hybrids from destroying her remaining people? And what secrets await her during and after this adventure?

This is my first book by L.D. Wosar. I am happy to say that I enjoyed reading Wild Vamp. I didn’t know the characters when I started reading, but it is pretty easy to pick up their general relationships. The story has a lot of plot twists which makes it a quick read.

Dominic Belluomo is the King of the Milite Coven of vampires. Along with his wife, Kaysee, they are watching the number of vampires dwindle to almost nothing in the US due to the vycan plague (vampire/Lycan hybrids). Kaysee is certain that going after the front person of the attacks, Panthaos, will help them find the source of the problem.

Going out of their way to try to defeat Panthaos and his hybrids before their vampire numbers are no more takes a lot more from the coven they thought possible. Loss of members, kidnappings, and a hidden foe lead them on a path that could lead to their destruction. Will they overcome all their obstacles and restore their vampire numbers?

WILD VAMP (JADED VAMP BOOK 2) by L.D. WOSAR. This is the second book in the Jaded Vamp Book and it was really good. Its the story of vampire and Lycan hybrids and demise of their world. Kaysee Belluomo is a very powerful vampire who is hell bent on a mission to find her missing husband and son. The world she is going to is Vycans which is a vampire/lycan hybrid). She is determined to fight to the death to save her son and husband no matter how violent or bloody it gets. Kaysee is devastated at the thought of losing her husband and son so she is determined to do what it takes to find them and bring them back. I didn't read the first book but was able to figure this one out pretty quick but I do think it was be easier to keep up if you read book 1 first. I did figure out really quickly that Dominic was a piece of work. He is not what he appears to be and I hope Kaysee figures it out before its too late! This is a fast paced paranormal romance that you will immensely enjoy!

Okay, so I will be the first to admit I am usually over vampire novels. They have run their course but this book has a character with my daughters name closely to it in it and the reviews were stellar as well as some awesome teasers so I had to see for myself what was behind the cover! I am super glad that I did so and I will be back for more!! I loved every moment and quickly devoured this in one sitting. I enjoyed how it was fast paced with plenty of ebb and flow to keep me well on the edge of my seat and wondering what would come next but also fanning myself at the right times too! I fell in love with the fierce female characters that dominated the kindle too! Something we need more of! I will be checking out more of LD Wosar as well because this was also my first experience with this author and now I am HOOKED!

Wild Vamp
Wild Vamp picks up a few years after Jaded Vamp leaves off. All our favourite Vampires have returned to take their piece of the action.
This time there’s a new threat in town and another lurking in the shadows as they begin to build a new army to cause havok in the vampire community. Years have gone by and the ranks of the heroes have dwindled away to almost extinction. It’s up to Kaysee’s modest coven of vamps to set things right once and for all. All this and more ensue our heroes plus the introduction of a new character is introduced into the book. I really liked the second book “Wild Vamp” and as always it was easy to read and understand. Another excellent story brought to us by the amazing author L.D. Wosar

Wild Vamp is book two of this series and it had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. Wild Vamp is full of twists and turns, its mysterious and dark but just enough that it has you flipping through the pages as fast as you can. I will admit that I was originally drawn to it just based on the front cover, but it is one of the better vampire novels that I have read in a long time. Ms. Woser's character descriptions are amazing, each vamp either sexy, beautiful, smart, or any perfect combination of characteristics. Her setting perfectly dark and mysterious, just the right setting for a dark romance novel. So if your looking for a dark, fun novel to read this weekend I highly recommend Wild Vamp.
