Have I mentioned lately that I just adore this author and her characters? I have? Well, I think it needs to be repeated. I LOVE THIS AUTHOR AND HER CHARACTERS! Sorry for the shouty caps, folks, but that's how I feel. The world building in this series (and in the author's Deathless Night vampire series) is so unique that I'm always a little surprised when I pick one of these books up. I mean, how often in PNR do you find super-unique world building? And Lucian is 100% my kind of hero. He's a sexy, grumpy jerk (but in a good way :) with a well-hidden heart of gold. Then there's the Scottish accent to consider...so yummy. So, long-story-short, I highly recommend you pick up this book, or any of the author's books, really, and start binge reading. You can thank me later...

Keelin has a secret that she hides from everyone. She thinks that she's finally found a place to call home, even though she has lost someone she has loved, she refuses to leave the life she has built. She knows that there is darkness haunting and hunting her but she hasn't seen it in years. Then one night that changes after a walk where she goes to connect with the land. The dark Fae have found her but so has her future.
Lucian's family, his pack, were murdered by an attack by dark Fae and ever since he was a pup has hated the Fae from then on. One night Lucian is out running in wolf form, and sees two soul suckers or two dark Fae attacking Keelin as she is coming back from her walk. He jumped to protect her thinking that she was simply a human being attacked. Upon getting close to Keelin, his wolf starts losing control and his protective instincts go into overdrive.
Lucian is forced to protect Keelin by his pack leader who actually knows her secret, but refuses to tell Lucian what's going on due to Lucian's hatred of Fae. The feelings between Lucian and Keelin come to a head, and then Keelin finally admitted that she was not only Fae but the Key that could close the door on the Dark Fae.
Due to his hatred, Lucian is unable to handle this information, fights his Alpha and his own feelings as he runs. Once he runs across the country, an old flame looks him up and gives him information that makes him face his feelings to make him head back to his pack and his love.
I would definitely recommend this book and the rest of the series for anyone who asks.

Fae Deception is the fourth book in the Kincaid Werewolves series by L.E Wilson and I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.
I was lucky enough to get an early copy of this book and I have to say it’s the best one yet. Lucian, is a sexy Scottish werewolf who believes that all fairies should be dead, he wants nothing to do with them at all. When out one night he discovers Keelin being chased and doesn’t stop to think he just rushes in and saves her, he is rather shocked when she mentions she knows what he is and offers to help take care of an injury. From this moment on he feels a connection with Keelin and has trouble staying away but he finds out Keelin has been keeping secrets. Lucian’s mind is troubled and he makes some mistakes, but will he be man or Wolf enough to fix them before it’s too late?
I loved this book, I read it in one sitting. This author is in my top 10 of favourite authors, she knows how to write a brilliant story.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Fae Deception by L.E. Wilson is the Fourth Book in the Kincaid Werewolves series. This is my first L. E. Wilson read and I read this book as a drop-in... so, with that in mind I really expected to be a little lost. I was really pleasantly surprised to find that there are gentle insights through the story that bring you (virtually) up to speed on the overall story line. This is Lucien and Keelin's story and I loved that the characters were so well developed and their chemistry had me fanning myself! I highly recommend this action packed read, but would definitely recommend reading the series in order. I wasn't lost, but I think I would have enjoyed the story more if I had read them in order.

Werewolf Lucian meets Keelin when he saves her from a couple of sick Dark Fae. When he returns to his alpha to give a report he is charged with watching over her to keep her safe. Becoming attached to her was not part of the plan, but when the danger returns for Keelin he must whisk her to safety and his inner battle heats up until her secret is revealed. Admitedly I have not read any of the other books in this series, so I am starting in the middle of the large storyline. And though it was easy to follow as a stand-alone, I could tell that I was missing a bit of the story here and their. This book has no cheating and does not end with a cliffhanger. I read this in exchange for an honest review.

Lucian hates all fae and with good reason. The dark fae killed his family and whole village when he was a young pup. Now he finds his pack brothers mating fae women and he's having a hard time accepting it. One night he's running as a wolf when he spies a women being chased by some dark fae. He steps in to help and finds himself attracted to the one he saved. Keelin has a secret that comes to light when Lucian takes her to meet his pack. Cedric knows who she is and how important she is to the battle that's coming. Turns out she's half good and half dark fae and it's tearing Lucian up. Lots of drama makes for excellent reading.

This is the fourth book in this series and once again LE. Wilson had me totally enthralled and gripped from the start.
The way the characters are with each other and the backstory and the things that are happening around them - yeah I was waiting for Lucian to explode. I absolutely love the Scottish brogue and his turns me to jelly.
If you haven't read the others in this series then do yourself a favour, get them and spend this weekend knee deep in hot hunky werewolves and other species as they tell on hell of a tale.

Fae Deception is the first book I have read by L. E. Wilson and it is a wonderful romance that offers charm, anger, magic, faeries and shifters. This is Lucian and Keelin story they are both enjoyable characters along with all of side characters that are well written. Their attraction was strong and their chemistry generated lots of sparks. The storyline was engaging and offered a solid amount of drama and emotional turmoil as this couple relationship evolves into more than they ever imagined.

This was an awesome book that I highly enjoyed and could.t stop reading. The characters and story were well written and kept my interest from beginning to end. Lucian and Keelin worked well together and I enjoyed watching them as a couple. The authors word usage makes you feel like your there watching the story unfold. It's a fast paced action packed hot sexy with hot and steamy chemistry that you don't want to miss and I highly recommend. A definite must read for any fan and I can't wait to read more.

I absolutely LOVED this book!! I have been waiting for Lucian's story for what seems like forever and it was soooo worth the wait!! Who doesn't love a stubborn shifter with the fantabulous Scottish brogue?
Keelin is the perfect match for him, and I loved watching their story unfold. There is action, drama, secrets, plot twists and heat! Damn there is so much heat!! Cannot wait to see what's next in this series!!

Another great book to the Kincaid Werewolves series brings Lucian and Keelin's story. The author once again brings an entertaining story filled with drama,twists,secrets and tons of action as well as the sizzling hot romance. It's brought to life with descriptive writing and detailed scenes and had me hooked from start to finish. I loved and highly recommend this book.

Book four in the The Kincaid Werewolves series is another well written book it kept me turning pages. Lucian Kincaid is a Scottish wolf shifter who comes to Keelin Doran a Fae's help. Lucian believes all Fae are deceitful, I liked their story. But trouble is coming, I know I want to read the next book, as this series is just getting better with each new book. Another brilliant story by this author and I love the Scottish brogue in a story it’s so sexy plus the scorchingly hot sex scenes it’s also action packed there is so much in Keelin’s and Lucien’s story you will be hooked just like me. Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and passion, strength. The story of eroticism of sensation. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

L.E Wilson is one of my unicorn authors and after reading this it just reinforces why!!!
This is the fourth book in the Kincaid wolves series and I think they just get better and better, I absolutely loved the way L.E built the characters. There is action, suspense,chemistry and of course deception!!!

I enjoy a great shifter story and this one was awesome. Love & hate can mean many things and Keelin and Lucian find out how just a chance meaning can turn your world around. This wolf wants and will do everything to get what it wants.

An intense emotional storyline that grabs you right from the start keeping you engrossed and turning page after page throughout the whole book.

I need more star's! This author has a way of bringing you into the story...what a great storyline. The anger Lucian has is justified but he's going to lose something important to him if he doesn't check himself! Love the way they all talk. Definitely recommend this.

My favorite wolf finally has his own story! Lucian has always been bitter for many reasons. Having had a rough life, much more so than the rest of his pack. When he finds love and finds out she isn't who he thought, will be stay with his new family or will he become a one wolf? Read to find out.

I loved the character of Lucian. That Scottish brogue just does me in. Keelin is a good character as well. This is a good shifter story. I recommend it.

This is a great read with an awesome storyline that has well developed and engaging characters that have lots of chemistry. The smooth flow of the storyline makes for a good reading time.

I enjoyed this "Kincaid Werewovles" story! This is a wonderfully written story with a brillant plot. I love the characters in this very captivating and intriguing story. Lucien and Keelin's story is amazing. I so look forward to reading more from this writer.
