This light novel author, starts his story where other light novel stories usually end, conquering the most powerful demon lord. Roland, the main character, was a very skillful assassin in his previous world, and in this world received an Unobtrusive skill ability, that Roland uses as an all purpose Swiss army knife basic skill to defeat the demon lord with his all girl adventurer team.
So after defeating the most powerful demon lord, Roland gets a million rins, asks the king to "live a normal life" and retires (with the demon lord as his closest "attendant" "lover" "girlfriend".
So in retirement, Roland decides to stark work as an administrator in the Adventure's guild, and finds that his common sense and skill level are very helpful to the newbie adventurers and is enough to succeed and surpass all of the problems that he faces.
In a nutshell, this light novel series has no main plot theme or secondary plot arcs. It basically is about the intimate adventures of Roland and his use of common sense and his basic life skills from his previous life that help him take care of everything that comes his way in this new world.

Going to be honest it was a good story but I wish I didn't read it. You are going to hear the word assassin a good number of times or references to his past as an assassin. Also, this guy is going to sleep with almost any woman in this series which is kind of tiring. You would think others or especially me would get tired of MCs not realizing they have a love interest but this guy takes it to a whole new level with potential love interests. He has someone who loves him but is okay with him sleeping with whomever because it is what "strong people need to do". Arifureta and Black summoner handle polygamy better than this series. Then this guy isn't really humble but sort of an OP guy who isn't cocky but will constantly remind you his has a "worthless skill". The way he handles some situations is pretty good but trust me if a female is involved his solution is in his pants and between his legs. Give it a read if you're into that sort of action harem genre but I think other authors handle it better.

An interesting story. Got some good chuckles from me. Not a fan of what a manslut Roland is tho. He has Rila yet he’s spreading fantasy herpes to all the women that want to twirl on his dick. Also not liking how every single woman so far has been thirsty for his wiener. Like ladies, have some pride. Then again, how many male characters have been mentioned that didn’t suck?

Overall, an ok read. I’m gonna give the next volume a go mostly because I like Rila. Hoping Roland starts shaping up. Because how can you talk about babies with Rila and yet ride girls off into the sunset? Like bro, unless you’re using fantasy birth control, they can have your babies too…aside from your gonorrhea…

Quite Refreshing

It is quite good read all things considered. It is pretty funny at times and honestly had my heart going there for a bit. If there are any CIA or FBI or any other letter companies out there. I think this story would suit them. Just saying. I have read lotta books. Well I look forward to the next installment of this series. Also if the princess gets married that would be kewl. I hope the prince is sweet.

Good lt novel

Not an original concept as I had just read a lt novel about an assassin from another world so there where many similarities though this assassin isn't from another world just retiring from being one. Still it was very good 👍. I'll read vol 2 if you write. If you write it I will come. Lol

Well written with an interesting storyline

This was a very well put together book in my opinion and the story kept me reading. I only gave it 4 stars because it didn't reach all time favorite book ever for me. It was good enough for me to read it all the way through in one day though.

Between the Harem vibes, the sex that happens distressingly often, and the female characters drooling after the mostly oblivious MC, no thanks.

I do enjoy the MC, his skills, perspective, and attitude are amusing.

Cringe, it’s what I imagine it would be like jumping into a 13 year old boys mind. Sigh, it has potential but feels dirty for no reason but that it can. It does nothing for the plot or likability of the character.
