Rate this book
Do you have a lot of things in your life, but no real peace and happiness? Do you feel you don’t know how to live life correctly and joyfully? Perhaps you have already built your career or your family, or maybe not. But you are definitely wondering about the meaning of life, and how you can live more comfortably and meaningfully.

Hi, I'm Greg.

I faced these same questions. According to all social norms, my life was in order. My business was at its best, my family loved and understood me, but inside there was an emptiness. I didn't understand why I was living and whether I was living correctly.

During this difficult period, I tried a psychology, religion, and many other practices.

But there were no answers for me.

And when I was in despair, a miracle happened. I found my first book on Stoicism on a bookshelf in my grandfather's old house.

Around that time, I began to put Stoicism into practice in my life. Stoicism has become a guide to life for me. Now I want to share a pinch of my knowledge.

If you do not want to work through tons of ancient literature but do want to quickly understand Stoic theory and immediately begin to practice, read this book. This book will give you an excellent philosophical foundation for a happy life and the tools to maintain further happiness and emotional tranquility.

In this book, you can find answers to questions such

• What is Stoicism in simple terms?

• When Stoicism appeared, who invented it? And why is it relevant today?

• How can Stoicism help you?

• What is the difference between stoic and non-stoic?

• What do you need to do to be stoic? (12 Stoic practices)

You will also meet 10 well-known people who practice Stoicism.

Stoicism provides an enormous range of benefits. These benefits can help reduce anxiety and stress, leading you instead to a life of mindfulness, tranquility, happiness, and virtue.

There are many practices that must be executed consistently in order to live a life guided by Stoicism, and these can all be found here in Stoicism for Beginners. Millions of people throughout history have adopted the Stoic philosophy and have lived very fulfilling, virtuous, and successful lives.

In fact, Nelson Mandela and Tom Brady have both adopted Stoicism as a way of life. Thus, they can credit a large portion of their success to this ancient Greek philosophy.

You can reap the benefits of this amazing philosophy, as well. So, why not give it a try? It might just change your life.

A good start

It's a decent read. I thought it was a simple and easy way to start my road into practicing stoicism.
