Well at least this one had some laughs at its own expense... So maybe the author does have a sense of humour? But is it really necessary to end every single book with some bad guy soliloquy???

The adventure continues

The Crystal Key is an exciting continuation in Dusk’s adventure for answers about his destiny and to escape The Circle. Each book in this series tops the last by raising the stakes, developing its enjoyable cast and asking more fascinating questions about the mythology presented within its world.
If you love LGBT characters, exciting action/battles, magic, romance and humor- these books are addictive!

This very well written book avoids the shortcomings that could be seen previously in the crystalline chronicles. The world building is still great, but now, the characters are truly likable. Dialogues are at the same time deeper and lighter. As a result, the story seems easier to believe. Is it the author’s masterpiece or will the next book be even better ?

Funny and exciting

This book has a bit more funny banter between the main characters and it is great. The plot twist at the end...... Did not see it coming.

Gets old

Too slow..Story is unique and somewhat interesting, but the focus on LGBTQ is too much and too forced. Just didn't see that it was worth continuing.
