A different spin on Dramione with post war and Death Eater Rehabilitation. Especially the politics plot which was intriguing. I loved the slow buildup of Draco and Hermione and then them being together just me me so happy. The side plots and friendships were great. Theo is absolutely hilarious. That epilogue was amazing and that hint to the future left me wanting.

Best take on Pureblood society and how wretched the Wizengamot can be under their fingers. Draco's characterization at the beginning, when Hermione first interacted with him at MRC was bang on with how I've always pictured him to be as adult after the war. As time went on, he came a bit more of a cinnamon roll unsure if I like that but, it didn't take away too much of my thoughts on how well he protrayed. The look into his life as a pureblood and the guilt he had whenever his mum came demanding everything he was raised to do was awful to see. He just could not get out, no matter how strong he tired to be. Hermione was his savour at one point for sure.

Hermione in this one was okay, I guess. I didn't see her as strong as I would have liked and her incessant fighting with Harry became tiresome after a while. I could see where the author was leading us but it became as I said, tiresome. Her hitting road block and road block made sense to her character growth and seeing Draco as a shoulder to lean on was interesting too. She just became vulnerable too much for my liking and I wish she could have had more a BAMF vibe going from the get go. Even with the knocked down/get up that was constantly happening.

The beginning when tiring to figure out what was going on made for an interesting read but it kind of stalled after a while. I'm not sure what did it for me but I did lose interest about 60% in and had to force myself through bits until I was able to get back on the train.

I'm glad Draco and Hermione were there for each other through all this and the fights they had were quite well done, only making them stronger. I would have liked more with Pansy. Daphne was a great addition to all this and Theo did not disappoint either.

Nice read for sure.

“I don’t want to work for systems I don’t believe in, Ginny,” muttered Hermione. “I’d much rather take them down.”

Idk why this is so underrated, this was SO SO GOOD! I loved this draco and hermione their relationship was SO organic, but what made this fic apart from others is the politics. It was a heavily politicised plot, and i LOVE POLITICS IN MY FANTASY! the election circus, the corruption the power play is SO good!

- post war.
- mentor hermione x forced to attend rehab meeting draco. (rehab as in- to get rid of prejudice.)
- friends to lovers. (kind of.)
- misunderstandings between the trio.
- weak to powerful hermione character development.
- trapped in tradition Draco but great character development.
- cute cute cute scenes.
- secret relationship between H and D.
- 41 chapters.

This fanfic of Hermione and Draco dragged on for way too long. While their relationship developed in a more or less satisfying way, other things kept getting in the way and thus making this less enjoyable. I understand that it's not only a romance book but also one about political schemes but it was so dreadfully boring that I kept falling asleep.

Hermione and Draco had their cute moments and I really enjoyed their banter as well as the steamy moments but it was unnecessarily long.

I really liked how this started, I just wish the ending would have hit as hard as the beginning did.

Draco and Hermione got together easily and the plot was very engaging. I wish Ron didn’t just disappear in the later chapters.
