Great!!

I am an avid fan of Mr. Poole; he is a talented author. Everything he writes (whether it's fantasy or mystery) is fun and exciting, which is why I will read anything that he pens his name to. Case of the Dysfunctional Daredevils did not disappoint. I started reading this book yesterday, and was thrilled from the moment I began until the last word was read; it was fun, exciting and unpredictable. The only complaint I have is that now I have to wait until August for the release of CCF10.

One of my favorite authors

Once more Zack and the gang, and of course the two corgis, get tangled up in something unexpected. But as always, the dogs are smarter than the humans and everything turns out ok. I have read everything Mr. Poole has written and I can't think of anything bad to say about any of them. One of my few favorite authors.

Vance and zack are talked into becoming daredevils in this entertaining episode. While the dogs help some; the guys do most of the work here. The things these two end up doing are great. Outstanding!

I've really missed these books, so was delighted to have the latest book drop into my kindle library after I'd pre ordered it ages ago.

Sherlock and Watson are back on the case asking with their owner Zack, his Fiancee Jillian together with their friends Vance and Tori, and Harry and Julie.

The friends are drawn into helping the US Marshall capture a dangerous murderer, to do this, the boys have to join a Daredevil club, not something they'd ordinarily do. Vance, about to reach the big 40 and concerned about middle age is encouraged to join by his wife, Tori, as are both Harry and Jillian.

After a member is killed on a sky diving outing, suspicions arise, and on the boys1st outing with the club, White Water Rafting, another of the club is killed; on their 2nd outing, Bungee Jumping, a member is seriously injured. When their final outing, Sky Diving is organised, is one of the 3 friends the murderer's target? Can they trust the US Marshall? 2 dogs they can trust are Sherlock and Watson, they won't let anyone down!

Lots of laughs along the way. I really enjoy these books, although standalone stories, the same main characters appear in each, so I believe the books are best read in order. I couldn't put this book down, and read into the small hours to finish it in 1 sitting!

Enjoyable summer reading

Boy did I find a pandemic treasure. Just finished all nine of the current books of the Corgi Case Files. Of course I loved the Corgis as a previous corgi mama. The main story line, once set up just drew me along since I was always interested in seeing what the the step was going to be. I lived in Phoenix for 10 years (currently in Tucson), I enjoyed the story with the Phoenix setting. I enjoyed the attention to detail given to Pomme Valley. Can't recommend for my teenagers because language is more pg13 than pg, although I know many parents would have no problem. Enjoyed the fact that money is not a problem so readers don't have to be reminded of the problems of everyday life. The love shown between the main characters and the care they show for ones in need means the story can flow along to a satisfying conclusion. I know that the values I have as a 75 year old woman are not fashionable but the books can still be enjoyed by someone like me. Have your next book on pre-order on Amazon Kindle.

If you've never met these two fun and furry crime solvers (Mr Sherlock and Ms Watson) and their widowed humans, you're missing a lot of fun! In this episode their friend and cop is first told to take a vacation because he as too much overtime, then he is askes by a US Marshall out of Texas to help him locate a deadly perp who is adept at disguising himself. This leads to the friends joining an adventure group just at the cop's 40th. Much sleuthing, danger, and hilarity ensue! The dogs win and so does any reader.
All of the characters certainly are, and the sleuthing is well done. Loved it! Easily a stand alone, but why?.
Bob Johnson aces the narration with just the right touch that highlights the humor by downplaying the guffaws.

I just love this fun series. Book 9 is just wonderful and if you haven't read all in this series not a problem as this book could be easily read as a stand-alone. Sherlock and Watson are of course in this book but just not as stand out in your face as some of the other books. I really enjoyed getting to see the cast of characters doing some tasks that were way out of their comfort zone. Can't wait to read book 10 and see what fun adventure it will take us on. Once again Bob Johnson is the narrator of this book and I just love his voice. For me, he makes the story even better like extra icing on the cake.

I received this book for free. I am voluntary posting this review and all opinions expressed herein are my own.

This is the ninth installment of this series. It is a standalone adventure/mystery and it is not necessary to have read any of the prior books in the series to enjoy the story.

This is a light and easy listening series with fun characters and adventures, and two adorable corgis. Here, Zach and his pals get involved with a daredevil group to find an escaped prisoner. Each escapade has good humor but as always, the pups are just a little smarter then everyone else.

Bob Johnson is the narrator of the entire series and does a great job as always.

Helping a U.S. Marshal track down a fugitive mass murderer has Zack and Vance trying out things they never dreamed of while the corgis employ their usual sleuthing skills in this daredevil adventure mystery. Figuring out who's killing people will keep you guessing and the quirky, lovable denizens of Pomme Valley will keep you smiling and leave you anxiously waiting to find out what Zack, his friends and his lovable corgi mystery hunters will get up to next.
Another great installment in the Sherlock and Watson series.

Zack and his friends are out to solve another crime.....by joining a group of daredevil adventurists who, it seems, will do anything as long as it's dangerous. The river rafting scenes were so scary I found myself reading at lightning speed. Couldn't put it down!! It's another terrific addition to the corgi case files series. Great job, Jeff!

Lots of fun reading. Never know what's around the corner.

Very well put together. I enjoyed it immensely. I'm always anxious to see what's next on the agenda. I love the dogs. I've always been a dog lover but these little ones are special and a wonderful part of the story. Thank you Jeffrey Poole for your wonderful imagination.

Another superb book!

Love seeing the story of the lives of the people of Pomme Valley continue to take shape and greater depth. Zach and his corgis always manage to find the results desired, though this time had to endure several “daredevil” stunts!

To dive or not to Dive

An absolute ton of action and excitement as Harry, Zack and Vance fight a mid life crisis. Vance is turning 40. You can't put the story down as you race through the misadventures of a dare devil group.

Another fantastic book by Jeffrey Poole narrated by Bob Johnson. Honestly, I think Bob was meant for this role.

There is a serial killer loose in the small city, and Zach finds himself mixed up in it all again! And of course, Sherlock and Watson are eager to help. The problem? Well, he needs to get into a daredevil group. You know, jumping out of airplanes, bungee jumping, white water rafting. The problem? Well, he may have a chicken suit in his closet he doesn't want to expose, but such daredevil activities aren't really his thing!

A lot of fun, as are all of Jeffrey's books, and with Bob Johnson's excellent narration, it just makes listening to these books an absolute blast. I really look forward to the next adventure!
