The 2nd book in her Savant Trilogy, and true to the title of the first book of this series, Manipulation was Misdirection at its best!

In an easy to read, heart thumping, drama riddled story, the world of Maxine Schooling will draw you deeper with a deeper exploration of the characters in it and Maxine’s past before her fateful accident.

Throw in an on-the-loose killer that seems to defy what’s normal in this world, being pulled into a world of lies, deceit and cyber hacking and TWO twists at the end that you totally don’t expect, this is how parkour must feel like in the world of reading. I was left breathless and mind-blown at the end of this. It’s that good.

So get your hands on this. Read it, savour it, devour it, buy it and own it. You won’t regret it!

Manipulation is the second book of the trilogy written by Ning Cai. I read the first book of the trilogy, Misdirection. The writing and plot were great and extremely entertaining. So I was looking forward to reading Manipulation when it came out. I was not disappointed. In Manipulation, Ning Cai weaves a a compelling story of mysteries, characters and plots that make the reading riveting and entertaining. There are plenty of engrossing developments, twists and turns to more than satisfy even the most avid mystery reader. Ning has an wonderful and engrossing writing style. I could not put the book down.

I am now looking forward in reading the final book of Ning's trilogy, Metamorphosis, when it comes out soon. I highly recommend both Misdirection and Manipulation by Ning Cai
