And what better place for a fresh start than the coastal town of Carefree, SC. A little sand, a little water, and a whole of lot peace and quiet seem like the perfect kind of carefree living she needs.

Such a great read. I've been waiting for this author write another book and she didn't disappoint.
Julia and Miles were great characters. I loved their chemistry and how much humor she put into their characters. The book was book funny and then would turn on a dime and bring so much emotion. I love her writing style and can't wait to read her future work. If you haven't read her first two books you should check them out.
Great new book by a favorite author. Part rom-com - don't miss the faucet scene - and part angst when the truth of their past comes out. Julia is a strong woman, taking care of herself for a long time, but when Miles keeps cropping up everywhere, does she need protection? First in a promising new series. Highest recs for a new-to-you author.
I really enjoyed this book. There is a lot of humor (I particularly like the scene where Miles and Julia meet), but there is also the deeply emotional journey that I read romance for. Highly recommended.
