The novel:920 Chapters (Complete)
The novel, it seems, was better but there is no way I'll end up reading 920 chapters for it so I think I'll just keep reading the webtoon.
Historians will say they were good friends but we all know thesethree two idiots belong together (͠≖ ͜ʖ͠≖) I don't read BL much but boy, I really really needed this one to be a BL. I love friendship stories but I felt like all the "teasings" we got was such a sweet torture!
Overall, the story is cute (even though sometimes it feels like a slow story), has funny moments, and also a cool world + magic system that I want to know more about. I like the characters and I am excited to see where it goes next but do not expect much of the of this story. You can tell from the beginning that it is aimed at a pretty specific taste and there were a few problems with the story that totally can ruin it for you. Such as;
- the plot was a bit slow. If you are not a fan of slice-of-life/slow life stories this can be a bit... hard to read for you.
- The premise is amazing but sometimes you feel like it's totally being ruined by poor execution
- There are a lot of times the main character acted like the typical Mary Sue protagonist in many romance novels, only just genderbent. He can also be a bit... dense sometimes.
-The main character can be a bit foolish with how much he trusts people around him and thinks he will avoid the "book's plot" if he can avoid the male and female leads of the book. I wish sometimes he would try to do other stuff than walking around a garden, having tea and enjoying his life to make sure he stays "alive". For someone who knows he is a political hostage of the empire, he sure trust the people of said empire easily.
THE ART:
The art in s1 was ok and got better in S2 because the artists and the style changed betweeen the seasons. This new artist is absolutely killing it!!!

Read the farthest that was translated on the legal translator site EAP (Eat Apple Pies which is a Trash of the Count's family (TCF) reference plus the spoiler summaries on the EAP Discord TWSB spoiler chat thread which was all the way to the end. Love the fun interactions between the three main friends and the other characters they spend time with, especially Johann and Yeseo's siblings. Appreciated the character development (especially with Cedric and Jibril) and healthy portrayal of the importance of mental health.

Una de las mejores novelas coreanas que leí hasta ahora!! Los personajes eran tan interesantes y graciosos que nunca me aburría, la trama te mantenía atenta y expectante por más en todo momento. Los plots fueron muy bien escritos y utilizados, todos los personajes tenían su importancia y la autora recordaba su historia hasta el último detalle y te das cuenta al llegar al final. Me encantó. Es una historia que querré volver cada vez que me aburra o quiera algo que me llene de amor el corazón.

This is the best! I began the series on webtoon, with it's webcomic being on my recommended, only to get washed away into the TWSB world! And now I can't put the novel down! A must-read for all ORV and TSCTIR fans, now females aren't the only ones being reincarnated into fantasy worlds of novels they knew ヾ(｡✪ω✪｡)ｼ
