This was exactly what I had expected from a Year 12 book. It was not quite clear if this book was written for parents or students - I am thinking both. I had a quick read and found it to be sufficient in bringing up important topics such as nutrition, exercise, stress, schoolies, gap year, ATAR scores and TAFE along with many other things. One big reminder is that you are not your ATAR score. The book was repetitive at times. As someone who grew up in America, it was good to learn a bit about how things are done here in Australia. For instance, ATAR scores is something I am not familiar with, so it was nice to have that explained to me.

I asked my Year 12 child to read it, and I know she will be too busy with studying that she won't make the time for it.
