In a world of the living dead, life is a precious commodity.
After retrieving the blood sample necessary to create a vaccine, Alissa and Chris arrive back on Warren Island to find the sanctuary has succumbed to a deader outbreak.
Stranded in Maine with no means of rescue, Alissa must choose between getting the blood samples to those who can create a vaccine and save what is left of mankind or returning to the island to rescue her friends and the few remaining survivors.
For Alissa, the choice is obvious, but the odds are against her.

Great zombie apocalypse adventure series
Extraordinarily entertaining zombie apocalypse adventure series. A great cast of characters and an entertaining storyline. Alyssa was a nurse at a hospital in Boston Massachusetts. One night while working in the ER one of the new nurses happen to mention that maybe it would be a “quiet “night. As most nurses know you never say the Q word. Soon after all hell literally broke loose. The beginning of the zombie apocalypse.
Soon Alyssa and other coworkers are fighting for their very lives. At a certain point she soon realizes it is down to her herself for survival. She must fight her way to her car and make it to her home on a small coastal island about an hour or so distant from Boston. She must fight her way through the zombie apocalypse is it spreads rapidly around her. Read on and follow the adventure of Alyssa as she reaches home grabs her cat find other survivors and begins the journey. Who will live who will die and what will happen. Do not get to connected to any particular character as who knows if they will make it to the end of the book or not. Either way it’s an action packed story with the cast of characters you will love to read about. Read on and enjoy.

I love this series! It's more of a love story/ love triangle in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. The characters are very well written and if I was the main character, I would have a hard time figuring which man to be with. I used to think have two good men in love with me and I would have to choose would be so great. Before I got into reading zombie apocalypse books, I also was confident that I would survive and thrive. I think I'll keep my husband. If the zombie apocalypse happens, I'll sacrifice myself for the good of the team, within the first wk.

Alissa, Chris and others get the blood samples they need but then find out the worse has happened. The island has been overrun with great loss of life. Do they attempt a rescue of any survivors or just write them off? Anyone who has read any of the books in this series knows the answer. Another character driven, emotionally charged addition to a great series. Looking forward to more of Alissa and friends adventures.

Stay Alive!
I'm amazed at the resiliency of Nurse Alissa that confronts danger and help people in the face of amounting odds of not surviving. But, without a vaccine or a cure for the zombie virus, the number of deaders will out-pace the living. What do you do? The race to keep mankind on top of the food chain is paramount. This book is more about love, lust, setbacks and survival. Loved this book!

An amazing zombie apocalypse series with with great characters. The world building and character development has been amazing throughout the series. Each is a short read and really the 6 could have been done as 3 books. However still a great read. I’m interested to see where the author goes with the story and the continuation of the love triangle and the issue with Alissa’s eyes

A nice continuation of the storyline, but there were a few spelling/grammatical errors. Decent twists to the story and ends with you wanting to know more, specially with Alissa's eye.

The saga continues
Great action and Alissa continues to save the day. Please do not not extend storyline too much longer. You will lose me and I will be sorry to say good bye to the series. Extending a storyline for too long loses its appeal...

Great Story
Really enjoyed all the action scenes.
The survivors finally found someone to rescue them. I am glad she still had her cat at the end. I did wonder what was going on with her sight though at the end?

Couldn’t put it down.
I have to start by saying I am a huge Keira fan! This book was another page turner. I couldn’t put it down and I can’t wait to start the next one. Keep them coming!!

Good book
The author has done really well to keep the reader engaged and wanting to read more. Course this means I’ve been up till past 3am reading and now I’m tired!!!!

A really fast paced story with plenty of zombies to fight as Alissa and her friends try to make it to safety. I really love this series and I look forward to the next.
