Great book
Omg, best book ever. Twins, two different paths, two so different lives, one wanting a change. Switching is easy, till it effects someone else. One hot alpha biker, falls hard for a woman who isn't who she pretends to be, and she falls for him as well. Add in a stalker, a kidnapping, bikers and more and you have one fantastic story. But this has a second chapter, can't wait for the next installment.

A fun, fast read!

This story is fast and furious as Charlotte Justice, a famous singer, swaps places with her sister, Scarlett, runs her bar, falls for Daytona, the prez of the Evil Dead’s Las Vegas chapter, and gets kidnapped!! What a fun, crazy ride. On to book two, Scarlett, to see how the sexy biker and the singer end up!

Cliffhanger!!!
I loved this story, but I am getting tired of cliffhangers. When I pick a book to read, I want to read the whole book, not half. None of the other Evil Dead books are like that, so why this one? I loved the characters in this book, so will have to buy the next one to find out how the story ends. Would have been a 5 star review if the story had been complete.

My Rating: 4 stars!
I’m flailing my arms in excitement and in desperation of the next book! Eeeep! Nicole James has smashed it again! See, this is why she is an auto-buy author of mine. She never fails at keeping her readers engaged with her stories and invested in her characters— and this little reader right here was hooked from the second Charlotte and her twin sister Scarlett started swapping clothes and spontaneously decided to temporarily trade lives!
Nicole has plenty of books under her belt and all the ones I’ve read so far have had some pretty amazing storylines. This one stood out with its intriguing premise. It’s a trading places storyline weaved into a light MC romance. It has a more contemporary romance feel in comparison to Nicole’s other MC romance books. With its small town setting, the world-building heavily revolves around the protagonists, Charlotte and Daytona. There was an immediate connection between the two that automatically had me sitting up in attention. Despite some serious tension and danger in the air, the story still had an overall light atmosphere to it.
Similarly to Nicole’s other books, this one had plenty of heated banter between its hero and heroine, alongside some lighthearted comic-relief ribbing courtesy of the secondary characters— who so happens to be the brothers from the bright and shiny new Evil Dead MC Las Vegas Chapter! 😍😍
If you’ve read her Evil Dead MC series, then the introduction of a brand, spankin’ new Chapter would make your eyes pop-out-of-its-socket giddy! It practically means new blood, and I for one, am all for it!
Daytona is the President of this chapter but right off the bat I discovered he’s different from the other Evil Dead MC Chapter Presidents. He may be a badass alpha biker, but he’s openly affectionate, straightforward, and doesn’t play games. He knows what he wants, and it’s evident when he first lays eyes on Charlotte.
Charlotte is rightfully skeptical of Daytona and his motives, especially considering she’s currently living life as her sister. I would’ve loved to have seen more character development from both (especially Charlotte) but with how the story played out and especially how this book concluded, I’m hoping there’s a lot more to reveal in the next book.
The story is told from first person, dual points of view, and progressed in a relatively fast-pacing. There’s a lot of things happening that’ll keep you on your toes. It’s insta-romance with a layer of crime thriller added. There’s lots of suspense and second-guessing that it was hard to predict where the story would lead.
Please note, there are certain sensitive subject matters within the story that may be triggering for some readers. Besides the mature sexual content, it also contains violence, stalking, and kidnapping. This book is for mature audiences 18+ only.
The romance elements are swoony and had just the perfect amount of sweetness. It might have been on the insta-love side as far as romantic relationships go but it wasn’t at all unconvincing. They may have gotten together relatively quickly but there’s genuine interest in getting to know each other in more depth. You get Daytona’s backstory and an understanding of his mentality and how he lives his life. And with the arrival of this new Evil Dead MC Chapter, I was instantly curious about all the new club members who were introduced right alongside Daytona in this book. They may have only had minor roles in this story but they definitely made quite an impression! 😊
It’s a relatively shorter full-length novel but it was jam-packed full of detail and dimension, and the story didn’t stray away from its initial narrative. Nicole created a vivid world that I was effortlessly transported to. These characters go through a whirlwind of emotions and a rollercoaster of drama that you can’t help but sympathize. Even though this is fictional and some of the plots are dramatized, the situations that Charlotte and Daytona find themselves in are real-life, relatable experiences. Their lives are complex and their feelings are understandable and seem realistic.
Overall, I found it to be a hearty story and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. There was constant buzz and build-up throughout that it was hard not to be gripped by it all. I was truly bummed to see it end and knowing I’d have to wait a little while for the release of book two. It ends on a cliffhanger but I’m relieved to see it concluded in a way where this particular part of Charlotte’s and Daytona’s story was somewhat settled…? Their relationship may be up in the air for the time being but the cat’s outta the bag and now we’ll just have to see how it all plays out from there. *dun dun duuuuun* Eeep.
If you enjoy reading about alpha heroes who have a gentlemanly side to them, and fiery heroines with backbone, then I recommend you give this one a try.
Definitely a must read for any Nicole James fan. I think this story is a great introduction for romance readers wanting to try MC romance books— whilst it certainly contains MC romance elements, it’s not completely MC heavy. It’s also technically an age-gap romance but it’s hardly noticeable, in my opinion.

Biker and the Rockstar
When Scarlett and Charlotte Justice switch places they don't think that love will be a factor.
But Charlotte falls for the President of MC club. Daytona goes to her sister, Scarlett's bar called the Badlands to collect on the loan she owes to the club. The night he shows up at her bar, they have open mic night. She sings a love ballad and her eyes meet his as she sings the song. He motions for her to come to the bar and talk to him. But she doesn't appreciate his come ons. He calls her Cherry because of the little red flower on he sun dress. She is sassy and bold when she talks to him. Like she has no fear to tell him how it is.
She thinks that he is leaving threats on her door and in the house so she will sell her property to the club. So she storms to the Clubhouse and let's him have it. He doesn't know what she's talking about. But she leaves and heads home.
She still getting threats and Daytona is determined to get to the bottom of what's going on.
But these two people both have their secrets and heartaches.
Daytona lost his son and ex wife to a drunken driver killing them.
She was raped at seventeen by a record producer.
They are both falling in love. For being a biker he is gentle and loving in the way he makes love and respect her.
She knows she will lose him once she tells him the truth of their switch.
The stalker has kidnapped Cherry right out of Daytona's wine cellar. Now Daytona has to keep his promise of protecting her. Him and his club brothers are out looking for her and her abductor. He loves her and can't lose her. He needs her to be whole again. She needs him to.
Great story of two people that come from different cultures but some how fall in love.
Can't wait to see what happens next in Scarlett's story. Great story by Nicole James. Love her alpha males and their strong women.

Scarlett agrees but warns Charlotte not to feed the grumpy gas station janitor’s dog and warns her someone wants to buy the bar but she’s not selling.
Nodding Charlotte finds herself deep in Scarlett’s life, running the bar, whispering with Scarlett’s best friend, feeding the janitor’s dog, the outstanding loan to Evil Dead MC due plus club prez. Daytona and Charlotte share a moment that turns to insta-love. That night someone from Scarlett or Charlotte’s life begins terrorizing Charlotte.
Daytona’s ticked off at the accusation the MC is trying to scare her into selling. when Charlotte accuses the MC of being her stalker. In a forgive a forget move, Charlotte masquerading as Scarlett is installed in Dayton’s life and claimed to the MC as his woman while the club works on getting answers.
The accurate synopsis prefaced a good read on its face, this reader wanted redemption or at least a thought and contact before the life changes. The lack of a single plot point annoyed and the whole cheer for the bad guy thing (liars/cheaters included), an unacceptable pet peeve when not accompanied by redemption (in life and definitely in ‘entertainment’).

Daytona, Evil Dead MC's Vegas President is in for a shock when he meets who he believes is Scarlett, but is actually her twin Charlotte. Charlotte, for her part, is a singer/song-writer who decides to get away for a while and gets her sister, Scarlett, to go along with her plan. What Charlotte doesn't know is that Scarlett has taken a loan out from the MC and they are looking to buy the bar and put pressure on Scarlett to sell. Daytona is a stand-up guy and is honest with Charlotte to a fault. He doesn't play games and lets her know right away that he wants her. I must confess that I felt Charlotte should have let him in on the switcheroo in the beginning. She had nothing to lose by letting him know right away. The fact that Charlotte is unsure of whether the stalker is after her or Scarlett was quite interesting. Am interested to see if Scarlett has a few stumbles taking on Charlotte's life as a star. The ending really left me hanging and I can't wait to see how this all unfolds. I am hoping that the next book resolves this ending.

The story is pure fantasy in the premise of adult twins switching places and living the other's life for a short period of time. It never goes as planned, but it works here. The books are a sweet story of love lost and then found. Of two people from very diverse backgrounds, falling in love with each other and trying to find a way to make it work.
Throw in a little MC wild, rich people pettiness and you have an entertaining story.
The writing is well done, and the worlds are well developed. I might be getting a bit to old for these types of books because I got a bit bored with the "bedroom" scenes and began to skim through them half way through. I enjoy them but I enjoy the story plots more and would prefer to have more substance than sex in my books. Which seems to becoming more of a 30/70 ratio than I prefer. I am looking forward to the next book in the series to come out, because I do enjoy this author's work.
While I read these books via Kindle Unlimited I do think they are worth your time and $$.

I had this book for a while and decided to read it and well I’m glad I did bc I couldn’t put it down. Charlotte is a singer/songwriter and she needs a break from touring. She has a twin sister Scarlett who owns & runs the bar. The sisters haven’t seen each other in long time since their breakup of their band. Charlotte meets her sister and decides to switch places. Charlotte goes to run the bar and than finds out her sister owes money to the Evil Dead Mc. The MC wants to buy the bar but Charlotte tells the VP Trick that she wants to talk to the Prez of the MC. One night Daytona shows up while she sings a song and can’t takes his eyes off her. It’s turns out she has a stalker that terrorizes and she thinks it’s the MC. Her & Daytonna start to get close and both of them have secrets that they hold back. I have come to love reading Ms James books so if you can pick them up to read you won’t be disappointed.

Charlotte takes over the bar and meets Daytona, Evil Dead's Las Vegas Pres. These two hit it off and I loved how open and honest he was with her. When she opened up to him I prayed she'd tell him who she really was, but when she finally did bam cliffhanger. This book had me all over the place and have me all the feels. Twin sisters that trade places, ok sounds interesting but it's been done before, right? Well let me tell you it hasn't been done like this. This is my first book from this author and if her other books are anything like this one then I'm gonna be hunkered down for a few days reading her other books. Soul Sisters has romance, hot sexy scenes and some great twists and turns. Daytona is my new swoon worthy book boyfriend and there were times I wanted to shake "Scarlett" . Not a big fan of cliffhangers but I get why this one would end in one. Certainly looking forward to the next one

Cherry and Daytona…. Loved it
Another great to EDMC, edge of seat strong Women Charlotte (Cherry) needing a check out of reality, only to find the love of her life and being caught between 2 Worlds. I honestly was already on Scarlett's side just reading the blurb for her book. As I continued to read Charlotte's story she quickly became my fave too.
Both sisters have gone through too much
w/o each other to lean. I can't wait for them to resolve their differences in Soul Sisters Book Two. I really hope we get to read about the sisters talking about the hard stuff, please?

I loved this book but I couldn’t be bothered with charlotte not telling Daytona that she’s not Scarlett, and that the ending. Pointless to drag it out to the end of the book.
You need to read book 2 to find out what happens to them 🙄 BUT. You have to read Scarlett’s first before (which is pretty much the whole book!) before you get charlottes ending. Totally disjointed bc I just wanted to read the end of charlottes story first before scarlet story started.

Charlotte and Scarlet are twins who had a falling out years ago. But when Charlotte reaches out to meet Scarlet obliges. They end up switching place like they did when they were kids. For Charlotte it's a chance to decompress or so she thought until she met Daytona. Now she must make a choice and hurt someone in the process.
The cliffhanger frustrated me because I wanted to know how their story ends. But I love it at the same time because now I am hooked.

Awesome first book
This is a cliff hanger. Wow!! To.change places with your twin.has got.to be so trippy. I would totally do that. What could go wrong? Can you say EVERYTHING!!! Not only do you fall in love with a great guy but he is also the Prez of an MC! AND you have someone stalking and terrorizing you. Charlotte and Daytona make an great couple.

Nicole James or of my favorite authors did it again, love her books and her characters. If you want to read a great book about two sisters switching places, then you need read this book! Amazing writing and a good story. Love, exciting, mystery, and some bad as bikers to boot. Recommend with a 5 Stars review

Great beginning for a duo!
Thoroughly enjoyed book one of the Soul Sisters duo. It's a switching places, MC and Rockstar romance all in one. The attraction between Scarlet and Daytona is palpable and sizzling 🔥! The cliffhanger made me smile because Daytona is Prez of Evil Dead MC.....You know he's going after what's his.....can't wait for the rest of their story!

Oh my gosh this book was so good. Charlotte and her sister Scarlet switch places. Lots of action and a super hot man made these pages fly.

Fantastic Start
Only thing I hate is I should have waited to read this when second book either was out or closer to being out. But that's fine, just a couple of weeks. This is about a set of twins deciding to switch lives. Yes, this ends on a cliff hanger and the author makes you aware but still an awesome story. Can't wait to read the next book. I read this through KU program.

I can't wait for the next installment....
Cherry aka Charlotte and Dakota didn't really make sense to me as a couple because of their very different lifestyles, but somehow they are PERFECT TOGETHER! I can't wait to find out more about them and about her sister in the next installment

I absolutely loved this book. It's well written and has an amazing story line. A twin swap story that will just have you hooked right from the start. All kinds of things unravel and happen that will have you on the edge of your seat. I cannot wait for the next one to find out how it all is going to end. I highly recommend.

Freaky Friday or parent trap
Normally I can’t stand cliffhangers, but that’s why I waited to start reading this book until closer to the release of the second book. This book is definitely like a freaky Friday or parent trap where twins switch places. Only difference is the reasons for which they switch. Now I wait to find out what happens to these twins!!!

Soul Sisters
It’s been quire a while since I’ve written a review.. I really enjoyed Charlotte and Daytona’s story. A lot of Chemistry instead of sex, Drama,suspense and insta love. . Story was over way to quick.Bummed about the cliffhanger but excited to be able to read more of their story. I hope second book is as good as the first.

Daytona & Charlotte
Really liked this book. It had a good story besides the romance. The only thing I didn't like was the cliff hanger ending. If I had purchased the book I would be upset that I would have to purchase the next book to get to the ending. Really liked Daytona and all the guys in the club. Will read the next book.

This was just completely unbelievable. I’m all for a great twin switch take but with the backstory the author wrote there is zero chance Scarlett would have switched places with her her hated sister. I found Dakota to be too soft and sweet (regardless of story plot developments) to be a believable MC President of the Evil Dead MC.
