One Wild Weekend With Becker

Rate this book

The Pastor's daughter has been a very, very naughty girl…

It was supposed to be a simple still life drawing class in an old warehouse.

A way to do something creative and to get back ‘out there’ after a painful breakup.

But before I set up my easel for my first ever art class, the teacher drops a bombshell.

A six-foot bombshell named Becker with bedroom eyes and a dangerous level of sexy.

And thanks to a mix up with the classes, we’ll be drawing him…Naked.

Did I mention Becker works for my father?

As if that wasn’t awkward enough, I know Becker recognizes me as the rebel turned church girl.

Being caught sketching a naked man does not fit with the image of a respectable pastor's daughter.

But before I can make my escape there’s a power outage, and in my panic, I get lost.

Guess who comes to rescue me?

Worse, everyone else has gone home, and Becker wants to explain.

Before I know it, I'm in his apartment, I've drunk too much, and Becker is promising to show me what I've been missing out on.

After a wild night that shouldn't have happened, my father finding out I’ve been a naughty girl becomes the least of my worries…

One Wild Weekend With Becker was a very enjoyable story by Lexi Hart. It was well written and once I began reading, I couldn't stop. Cynthia's friend convinces her to go to an art class with her. Her life is changed forever when the model turns out to be Becker, who also works for her father, the preacher. And to her shock, he is going to be posing nude! Their story has so many twists and turns (sorry no spoilers!) that will keep you riveted until the last page! 5 stars!

Lexi Hart has written a 5-star book. If you like a book with family mystery, jealously, and betrayal then this book is for you. Cynthia has come home after her mother dies and tries to help her father who is the preacher of their small town. But things are not going well for her. The people of her small town have not forgotten the trouble she was as a teen. Her sister treats her like she is nothing. Her best friend, Lacey, takes her to a drawing class and this is where she sees Becker. She knows that he is working for her father so that her sister Trudy can go on a trip the following year. When she sees Becker and he sees her, she goes to the bathroom and splashes water on her face. All of a sudden, the alarm goes off and the lights go out. She starts to have a panic attack and calls Lacey. When Lacey answers, she asks "Where are you? Everyone is outside." Cynthia tells her that she went to the bathroom and got lost. Lacey doesn't answer for a few but she can hear her talking to someone. Lacey comes back on and tells her that she has to leave because her father was just taken to the hospital. Lacey tells Cynthia that she has told the teacher where she was and that someone was coming to get her. Cynthia doesn't stay in the bathroom and is walking out in the direction of the door, she hopes when she walks into Brecker. Becker sees that she is shaking and offers to take her home or give her a drink. She takes the drink. Things happen between her and Becker and they end up sleeping together. The next morning, Becker gets a call from Lacey and she wants to talk to Cynthia. Lacey tells her that her father has just called her and wanted to know where Cynthia was. She tells Lacey that she will call him later. Becker tells her to go ahead and call him. When she calls her father, she tells him she is fine. He asks why she is using a different number. She tells him she dropped her phone the night before and cracked the screen and now it didn't work. He tells her that her sister had gotten a new phone and that he needed to take her by the office and he had an appointment so they could bring her sister's old phone to her around ten. Becker knows when she comes out dressed that she is leaving. She tells him what is going on and that what happened between them could not happen again. He watches her as she gets in the cab. Things start to happen and Cynthia is the one being blamed for it. Becker is the one who is trying to figure out who is out to get her. Becker finds out some things and when he tries to talk to Cynthia, she doesn't want to talk to him. He gets her to meet him and he proves to her that the phone her sister gave her had a tracking app on it and also it had something on it where her sister could read her messages.
Can Becker keep Cynthia out of trouble?
Can Cynthia forgive Becker and let him into her life?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

This series is fantastic! Every time I read a new story from this series I am hooked. Every storyline is original. The characters are well written, well-thought out, unique, quirky, challenging, hiding secrets that you’ll need to figure out throughout the book. You will get family friction/conflict, crazy drama, twists and turns, deception, deceit and hate. I don’t want to forget to mention the hot chemistry, electricity, sizzling passion, spicy heat and sexy hotness! Keep your fire extinguisher handy! It is a fast paced, intriguing page-turner with lots of ups and downs, ins and outs - you will need your detective skills in more than one instance. Cynthia is the daughter of a minister. She is single, gorgeous, curvy body, sassy, artsy woman. People think she is a “bad, wild girl” but really she isn’t. She just wants to be an adult - independent, carefree woman who wants to act on her own desires and interests without having the whole town condemn her. She is going to an art class with her friend and finds out it is having a nude model that night and she has seen him at her father’s church. He is a good looking male, mysterious occupation, owns the warehouse where the class is being held and is the brother of the art instructor. Becker helps Cynthia when the fire alarm goes off and gets her to safety. Becker is intrigued by Cynthia and starts a conversation with her. Becker would like to explore the connection he feels with Cynthia. Cynthia and Becker have a magnetic attraction to each other. It is dynamic and powerful. He has never experienced it before. Cynthia is also consumed by it. Becker is doing some investigating, but who is he investigating? Why is he here? Who does he work for? What is happening between Becker and Cynthia? This is a really original, intriguing story with some crazy twists and turns that will keep you guessing. It will hold your attention up to the final page! This is a great read! You won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait for the next one in the series.

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Cynthia is known for her reputation since her teenage years her teenage years and all she wants to be is close to her dad a pastor especially since her mom. Her best friends talk her into attending an art class and she has no idea that she is going to be drawing a live male model. Becker is doing his sister a favor and he has one of the hottest bodies around, so he does this favor for her. Just as the class is getting started there is a fire alarm and loss of power and yep, the two of them end up together for the weekend. There is a lot going on with the church donations, break-ins on top of her feeling like she will be punished by God can they get past the punishment by God, get answers to how her mother really died (if her father had a hand in her death) and will she finally find peace along with a HEA?

This was a romantic suspense story.

Becker is a former cop and works for a global charity vetting applicants. His sister Brittany teaches art classes and convinces him to fill in for a figure drawing model. He is in town reviewing Trudy Wyatt's application and finds discrepancies in the financial records of a church fundraiser Trudy and Cynthia were responsible for keeping.

Cynthia Wyatt is a reformed troubled youth. Her father is an ultra conservative preacher in their small town. Her friend Lacey convinces Cynthia to go to an art class with her to get over being dumped by her boyfriend. While in class the fire alarm and lights go off. Becker rescues her and takes her upstairs to his apartment where they hit it off and she spends the night. She is paranoid her father will find out what she did and his parishioners will judge her.

Cynthia is the daughter of a Pastor but also been a bit wild with a bad pay her family won't let her forget. Her friend Lacey takes her to a still life art class where she meets Becker.
This book is fantastic.  Becker is smart and resourceful and goes to bat for the little guy.  Poor Cynthia has been victimised over her past and just trying to do the right thing by everyone. There is a lot of drama and tension in this story but also a mystery in the subplot.  This mystery certain pulls the story along amazingly.  There are a couple of steamy scenes that aren't too graphic at all,  just giving enough to make it sensual.
I really liked the dynamic between Cynthia and Becker,  they were working towards the same cause.  They were a great match.  I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

This book is amazing and I absolutely loved it! Another Weekend story by Lexi and this one is a doozy! A request by Becker's sister to pose for her art class will put Cynthia in his sites. He's here to see if her sister Trudy will be a good fit for a charity mission overseas and he's drawn to Cynthia immediately. She's a pastor's daughter and a bit of a wild child and soon she finds herself in Becker's arms. Things get bumpy as there's trouble and everyone automatically assumes Cynthia is guilty. Becker will find the responsible person, freeing Cynthia and bringing to light truths that she never knew about her family. As she's fixing to leave town again, Becker shows up to convince her that they have something worth trying for.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Cynthia was never the daughter of the pastor, sister nor teenager that everyone wanted her to be. When she comes back to town she endures it all. Becker starts out as somewhat of a mystery. Cynthia knows that he has ties to her father. So she panics when she sees him at a nude drawing class. Circumstances bring them together anyway and they end up in bed together. Everything changes from that point on. There are some twists and turns thrown into their love story. Cynthia has to figure out who to trust and that includes her own heart. Becker is going to do everything he can to keep his girl safe and end the problem. They have a connection that can lead to a future together one they get to the bottom of things. This book is not very long but it packs a punch. I have enjoyed this series

This is a fun series to read. Each book has lots of heat, plenty of drama and suspense. This centers on Becker who is hired for background gathering to approve someone for working as a missionary. Cynthia is the black sheep of her family. She has a past full of rebellion and stupid mistakes. After trying to start over, she comes home after her mother dies to help her pastor father. Cynthia meets Becker when her BFF cons her into going to an art class and Becker ends up the model. She actually knew him from her fathers church where he’s doing his background on Cynthia’s sister. Due to faulty wiring (it makes sense when you read this) they end up having “one wild weekend”. Things get very complicated and secrets and resentments add twist after twist to the story. Definitely keeps you hooked!

Cynthia is a daughter of a minister and has a past where she got into some trouble and is trying to live the life of a good "Christian" daughter, she meets Becker when he is modelling nude for his sister's art class. Her friend talked her into going to it and Cyn ends up sleeping with Becker when the fire alarm goes off and the lights go out. They have instant chemistry and he tries to get her to stay but she runs back to her Dad. But something is up as Becker is working for her Dad and her sister's charity. What could it be and can these two find an HEA? Love the Weekend with .... books, each is an independent read and thoroughly enjoy this author.

This is a great book with a black sheep daughter, Hot inappropriate guy, mystery, twists, and a happy ending.
Standalone with no cliffhangers.
Cynthia is the pastors daughter that made regular teen mistakes but was shunned because of it, so she left town. When her mother died she came back. But nothing has changed. She still has bad taste in men, the people don't trust her, and now it looks like she's to blame for more wrong doing.
Becker is the Hot mystery man who works for Cynthia's dad or a charity??? Is he in town to help her or hurt her?
Love the twists and turns in this one, plus the heat is great to.

This is another Weekend Story that I have really enjoyed reading. Cynthia is the typical pastor's daughter you hear about not being the innocent girl she is meant to be. Becker is her friend's brother and they meet and end up in bed together. With Cynthia always in trouble, it automatically assumed her she is a guilty person when some stuff goes down. Becker has to make it known she is not the one and her family secrets will be out in the open to her. Can Becker convince her that they are meant to be together?

Excellent and unpredictable
The story is very well written. It seems to start off as a romance that could be classic if not for the context of meeting Becker and Cynthia who has a dilemma between her nature and the image she wants to give to her pastor father.
But after this meeting, the story has a complete, unpredictable and exciting turnaround.
I love this series and I found it to be one of the best because I was surprised by the turn of events, the many twists and turns. On the other hand, I was a little disappointed not to have an epilogue to know the rest of the characters' lives: I had the impression of leaving them too early, on the eve of their projects.

Wowsa this book was absolutely so good and I was hooked from the beginning until the end and still wanting more. What happens when a hot man who works for your father who is a pastor shows up in art class and models nude? Cynthia is tge the black sheep in her family and getting over a break up but when Becker shows up in art class is fate for her or crossing lines her father wouldn't approve of but things don't always be what they seem to be when she's accused of something she didn't do.great story and loved it.

This book was well done. It holds your interest, has a fast moving plot, some conflict and steam. This book is about a pastor’s daughter, Cynthia who has a reputation for being somewhat of a black sheep in the family. She meets Becker while taking a art class where Becker is the nude model. The pair sizzle together. The story begins from their meeting and morphs into a mystery as church donations are missing and Becker is looking into the case. Very good story and nice HEA. Recommend.

Not everything is as it may first appear

One Wild Weekend With Becker is the fifteenth book in the One Wild Weekend With series and is the story of Cynthia and Becker. I loved this story so much that I bought the book to add to my personal library of Lexi Hart books. It is well written, has a solid story-line that is interesting and held my attention and characters that you want to spend the weekend with yourself. Plus the reformed troublemaker who is a preachers daughter and the former police officer make a sizzling connection.

This story is quite good. It has family drama and sometimes it goes so far that I could almost need a tissue... But our heroine is a true heroine and in the end - well you just have to read for yourself. It is quite well written, has good characters and is in many ways very sweet and beautiful. The storyline is good and the story flows very well. Overall it is a good story and one very deserving of the four stars I am giving it here.

Cynthia is taken by her friend Lacey to a nude art class. Lacey hopes it will take Cynthias mind off being dumped. When the model doesn’t turn up the teacher ropes in her brother Becker to do it. Cynthia recognises him and rushes to the bathroom. Not long after the fire alarm goes off and Becker goes to find her. It seems they are both intrigued and attracted to each other and they spend the weekend in the bedroom having fun. Unfortunately she is a pastors daughter and is plagued by guilt afterwards.
Sexy quick read.

Cynthia was roped into attending an art class and saw Becker, the model, in all his glory. There was an instant attraction while they navigated through the intrigue. Who is guilty, Cynthia or Trudy, daughters of the pastor, or could it be somebody else?
Some really hot scenes, so have something cold to drink as you read. Cheers to Lexi Hart.

Another great book to the series! The author once again brings strong characters in Becker and Cynthia. They have a strong chemistry and are great together. I loved this book and would recommend reading.

Good romance with lots of passion but the story is what kept me turning the pages. Becker was hot, but there was also an air of mystery about him. Cynthia let herself be ruled by what others thought of her.

The dialogue is smooth and includes some mighty fine mature audience talk by Becker at appropriate times. There are a lot of surprising plot twists right up until the end in ONE WILD WEEKEND WITH BECKER. It is a book you will enjoy reading.

Cynthia has one messed up family and life...I enjoyed this story, Becker tries to get her to admit she is living a lie trying to please her father and Cynthia feels like she doesn't fit in the family or the community of her hometown, and when she gets served a serious curve ball it's time to start thinking about what she wants and likes again. This story is a pleasant reading.

This was a great story by Lexi.
I love the wild weekend books and this is no other. The chemistry between Becker and Cynthia was great, they really make a good pair. There’s a lot of drama and some mystery subplot that completes this story. I really didn’t like Trudy, she’s so not sister worthy.
