This was the sixth and final book in the Missing Children Case Files series and what a doozy it was. After spending years searching for her missing sister, Anna, Emma suddenly learns she is still alive and has been arrested for suspicion of murder of Sir Anthony Tomlinson - one of the men suspected of being involved in the high level paedophile ring. Anna has been going by the name of Kylie Shakespeare but her DNA has been matched to that of Anna from when she disappeared. She has asked to speak to Emma but the police won’t allow it.

Things move quickly from there. Anna is released on bail but disappears and the next thing we know she is seen ‘abducting’ Daisy Beauchamp the great niece of Ian Beauchamp, a former politician. Emma is distraught at this news but - things are not as they seem. It is Daisy who initiated the contact with Anna. Daisy has learnt what terrible secrets her uncle has and enlists Anna’s help to take him down. The two finally meet but it is not the sweet sisterly reunion that Emma had envisaged - Anna has been through far too much trauma for that.

The intrepid forces for good get their hands on some important evidence but it is not smooth sailing from there. Instead it unleashes a storm of potential retribution on the good guys who are trying to bring down the network and Emma has to think long and hard about who she can trust. One of her trusted people turns out to be working for the opposition and leads her into grave danger. With the network at risk of being exposed they pull out all the stops to, well, stop it from happening and it got very, very tense.

Emma and Anna also learn more about their father and about the reasons that Anna was abducted. It makes some sense of what Emma had always put down as her mother’s nuttier ramblings.

This has been a great series which is really like one story over six books. Emma is such a great character - so humble yet crazy brave. She was prepared to do anything to find her sister. The secondary characters, her not quite boyfriend DC Jack Serrovitz, her best friend Rachel and even DCS Jagtar Rawani are all relatable and plausible and do their bit for the cause. I would like to think this is all fiction but I know that elements of these books do happen and it is a great tragedy that can only be averted by changing the way people think but that is a discussion for another forum. My thanks to Netgalley for providing a free copy of this book which I have reviewed voluntarily.

The Missing Children Case Files: Case 6

Three decades of disappearances: Every day bestselling investigative journalist Emma Hunter fails to solve the string of abductions corroding the south coast of England. Two decades of searching: After a brutal shooting in Leicestershire pulls the rug from beneath her meticulously crafted research when the local police tell her the suspect wants to speak to her, But when Emma arrives, there's no sign of the suspect. Instead the police start questioning her.

This has been a gripping series from the very first book. All the loose ends have been firmly tied up. I was hooked on this last edition from the very first page. There's lots of twists and Emma and Anna finally get closure. The family secret gave me chills. The characters are well developed in this fast paced read. The storyline gives the reader an insight into the sex trafficking that involved children. This series has held my attention throughout and I'm looking forward to reading more from the author in future,

I would like to thank #NetGalley #HarperCollinsUK #OneMoreChapter and the author #MAHunter for my ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Exposed by M.A Hunter is the sixth and final book in The Missing Children Case Files series.

First, let me thank NetGalley, the publisher Harper Collins UK (One More Chapter), and in particular Sara Roberts from the publisher for sending me a widget, and of course the author, for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Series Background:    (Warning – May contain spoilers from previous books)
Emma Hunter is an investigative journalist who is now a best-selling author. Her entire adult life has revolved around finding her sister who has been missing for over 20 years.  Between her friend and literary agent Maddie, and her best friend from college Rachel, Emma has a good support team, although she wishes they got along.    DC Jack Serrovitz has been helping her track down a pedophile ring, and they have recently discovered that a police official may be a part of this..... Emma's relationship with Jack is "strained".

My Synopsis:   (No major reveals, but if concerned, skip to My Opinions)
It's been more than thirty years of children going missing, and pornographic films being made using these poor kids.  Emma and Jack have been chasing this pedophile ring for ages, and found police involvement.  Finally, a woman is in custody for shooting former Police Commissioner Sir Anthony Tomlinson, one of the ringleaders.  This women will only speak to Emma.  It turns out that this woman, although going by the name Kylie Shakespeare, is Emma's long lost sister Anna.

But Anna, or Kylie as she is now known, has no idea she has a sister, and although she accepts help from the lawyer that Emma hired, she is not open to talking to Emma.

It soon becomes apparent that Anna may be the only person that could bring the pedophile ring out in the open, but how many lives could be put in danger before this could happen.

My Opinions:
First,  you MUST read these books in order.  As predicted in this last book, Anna is found, though not under the best of circumstances.  Be prepared, as the books are about trafficking children, so it isn't always pleasant reading.

I think this one started out slow, but once it got going, it was one of those books that you don't want to put down.

The story was told from Emma's perspective, in two time-lines, from when Anna first went missing, and today.  In this way, we learned the background of her parents, some of it unexpected.

With reference to the characters, I still had a problem with Rachel, who is so self-centered and is constantly asking "for favors".  On the other hand, she is the best friend Emma has ever had.  I'm not sure I loved Anna as much as I had hoped for, but knowing what she had been through, I guess I'd be surprised if she had rolled over and embraced Emma and her lifestyle immediately.  Rick's actions didn't really surprise me.  As always, I loved Jack.

The series is over, but it captured my heart and gripped me from the first book, and this one tied everything up.  It was a good ending.

Exposed is the sixth and final instalment in The Missing Children Case Files series featuring investigative journalist and bestselling crime writer Emma Hunter who specialises in the area of missing, abducted and exploited children. The twenty-one-year-old case that drives her vigilante crusade to solve the string of missing children cold cases ravaging the south of England, is the disappearance and subsequent search for her older sister Anna. And then one of the most explosive and unexpected twisty developments occurs. Emma discovers Anna is still alive and close by. She has been arrested as the suspect in a high-profile shooting and murder of Sir Anthony Tomlinson, one of the lynchpins of the apparent high-level paedophile ring known to contain many elite members of society including those employed in jobs meant to protect children. She has been living under the pseudonym Kylie Shakespeare and has requested to speak to Emma, and so she travels to the town of Market Harborough, Leicestershire taking close friend, colleague and trusted confidante DC Jack Serrovitz along with her. From there, the situation becomes complicated and convoluted and when Anna is released on bail she disappears.

The next time she shows up she is seen seemingly abducting Daisy Beauchamp, a relative of ex-politician Ian Beauchamp. It certainly looks bad but it isn't at all what it appears on the surface. Can Emma and Anna finally bring down the powers that be and gain both closure and justice for the victims as well as their own family? This is a riveting, intelligent and complex close to a harrowing yet sensitively explored set of topics in this series, and I found that many questions perhaps lingering throughout the books were answered. Twistier and more propulsive and engrossing than the rest of its predecessors combined, it was genuinely tough to put this down. Moving at break fire pace the original narrative rattles by and you cannot help but admire Emma as a fearless protagonist in a fight akin to David and Goliath. It's nail-biting, with never a dull moment and drama and intensity seep through the pages, this is a skillfully woven procedural and an author I predict even bigger things for in the future. One of the tensest, most enthralling and deeply satisfying conclusions to a series in a while, it is unlikely to disappoint anyone invested in Emma's plight against evil, search for her sister and fight for ultimate justice. Highly recommended.

The highly anticipated ending to this marvellous series! I both loved and hated it. I loved the book, but hated that this was the last one. The mood and pace is again different from the earlier books. You can nearly cut the tension with a knife. Emma and Jack are unstoppable. They are so close to the truth, and they can feel it.

As expected, not everything is as expected. Emma, Jack and the reader finally get the answers, but they might not be what anyone of us want them to be. Emma's sister, Anna, has been gone for years and years. Who took her? What happened? Where has she been? She is no longer a young innocent girl. Emma does not know her. Turns out Emma's family secrets were bigger than she ever imagined.

There were some unexpected twists and turns in the book, and they will haunt the characters forever. I am trying to think what it would be like finding my long-lost sister, who has been abused, and when I do, still the only image of her in my mind is the young girl I once knew. Naturally she is long gone, and could we ever get back to being just sisters again? I can't imagine what this would be like. A shock to the system, at the very least.

I absolutely love it that Emma can finally get some peace of mind. She has worked so hard to find out the truth. She is such an inspiration to me. She is not giving up, even though her whole family is basically screwed up, at times the world is against her, and sadly the police as well.

This is an absolutely amazing ending to one of the best series out there! I can't thank the author enough for coming up with this story, and sharing it with us readers! I can't come up with enough praise for this book this series, this author. Some things can simply not be explained. They have to be experienced.

I would like to thank Netgalley and HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter for an advance copy of Exposed, the sixth and final novel to feature true crime author and missing person finder Emma Hunter, set on the south coast of England.

Emma has just finished her latest book and is about to continue her investigation into the paedophile ring when she is told that a murder suspect is insisting on talking to her, but when she gets to Leicestershire a bombshell awaits and she finds herself being questioned under caution.

I thoroughly enjoyed Exposed, which provides a most satisfying conclusion to the series. For any first time reader the novels must be read in order as they are all threads with detours in one overarching plot, the uncovering of a long running paedophile ring with influential members.

Exposed is a roller coaster of a read with highs and lows and a lot of tension and excitement in between that I found it difficult to put down. I don’t want to discuss the plot as the publisher obviously wants to keep most of it as a surprise, but I think the series has been leading up to most of the revelations. Suffice to say it is the usual mixture of timelines, both past and present, told from Emma’s point of view. It contains a fair few bombshells, some easier to guess than others, that aren’t quite twists, more logical extensions of the plot.

I found the resolution extremely satisfying with most of the loose ends tied up, even a few I didn’t know existed. I see it as a reward to the reader for sticking with what was a difficult read at times due to the subject matter.

Exposed is a good read that I have no hesitation in recommending.

This final installment in the Missing Children Case Files series is an absolutely perfect conclusion to a series that has gripped me all the way through. Emma’s sister Anna, missing for twenty years, is alive… but she’s in trouble, accused of murdering a high-profile man whose name has come up in Emma’s investigations into a massive paedophile ring which has been operating across the south of England for literally decades.

You really do need to read this whole series in order to get the whole backstory and to understand just how much Emma and Anna have been through. Emma and her allies have been getting steadily closer to the truth - and to Anna - and now everything finally comes to a head, but powerful people need the investigation stopped in its tracks, and will stop at nothing to make sure the finger of suspicion isn’t pointed in their direction. A new player on the scene - a courageous young woman related to one of the key players - comes on the scene and is able to point Emma and Anna, finally reunited, in the direction of the literal smoking gun, key evidence which can bring the whole ring down, but there are still dangerous obstacles in their way and at least one traitor just waiting their moment.

I have really enjoyed this series, and this is a very satisfying conclusion to it. Five stars, and I’ll be looking forward to whatever M.A. Hunter writes next.

Wow, wow, wow! What an ending. This has been a series of 6 books following a very difficult subject but was written in such a fantastic way. I’ve read books 4-6 in one week and couldn’t put it down until I reached the end. I’m sad that my journey with Emma Hunter is over but will definitely be reading any other books by M.A. Hunter

Exposed is the sixth and final book in the Missing Children Case Files series. I have loved every one of the previous books and this one is no exception.
Emma has been searching for her missing sister Anna for over twenty years. She has also worked tirelessly to bring down sex traffickers. I don't want to give away any of the surprises in this story so I'll just say what a great ending to a great series. The characters that we've all come to love are back in this installment and they conduct themselves true to form. I put off reading this book because I did not want the series to end. Yes the subject matter is very difficult to read at times but the author does it with such grace that it makes it easier to read.
What a Brilliant end to a story that has lasted for six books! I cannot wait to see what M. A. Hunter writes next.

Having read the previous 5 books i couldnt wait to see how the series concluded. Had been absolutly gripping from book 1.

Anna meets Kylie Shakespeare who has been arrested for the murder of a well known senior police office, also linked to a massive paedophile ring.
Emma, who has been hunting for sister for over 20 years, is astounded to learn Kylie is in fact Anna.
Whilst we gain more insight into the girls family life and parents from the early days, sadly their mother dies the day before the reunion, never knowing her daughter has been found.

Anna and Emma share the same passion and goal to pull to justice those responsible for the devastation caused to children and families over the years. Whilst Anna feels she has nothing to lose, her methods of exposing these characters is unorthodox but brings results.
Emma has been betrayed by people close to her but this book reaches a gripping, nail biting but satisfactory conclusion to over 20 years of hell.

Highly recommend not only this book but the whole series and cant wait to see whag the author has to offer next.

I love this series and whilst I’m sad that’s it ended, M.A. Hunter has written one hell of a final book.
I’ve read all the other books and really enjoyed them all, and this one is the icing on the cake.
If you follow this series you’ll know that Emma is trying to find her missing sister and trying to expose those involved in trafficking young children and their abuse.
I won’t give anything away about this final book as it is definitely one to discover yourself.
A brilliant series and I’ll definitely be reading more books from this author.

I'm sorry to say I hadn't discovered M.A. Hunter until I read Mummy's Little Secret; then I knew I had to read more! And now I'm sorry I've read the last book in this series because it was so good! Emma's sister Anna disappeared when they were just children and Emma has made it her mission to find her. But apparently everything has been a dead end. Now as she works with Jack she discovers Anna has reappeared but is accused of murder and abduction going by the name Kylie Shakespeare. What a wild ride! The great thing is you can read this as a stand-alone without the entire series so I was completely satisfied. Great characters and many twists and turns--my kind of thriller!

This was what I needed for this series finale. I'm not typically one to stick out a series more than 3 books - I was hesitant to start this series knowing it would end with 6 novels. I'm really glad the publisher reached out and asked me to review them!

I needed SO many answers with this book, I was worried it would not live up to my expectation; in a way I was right! It exceeded my expectations!

Emma faces so many truths in this one, that it hurts. All throughout her journey I kept wishing for one thing; that Anna was alive. I never stopped to question what it would look like. I, like Emma, could only imagine the flowery reunion.

Taking down an entire ring of child traffickers was intense and the closer she got the more dangerous it became. At what point do you say, "this is too much", for Emma those words didn't seem to exist.

Great execution of a finale and wrapping everything in a way that concludes any questions that might have lingered. I will definitely be on the lookout for more M.A. Hunter. I became a fan!

Thank you to Netgalley and HarperCollins UK; One More Chapter for providing an eARC.

My thoughts 📚📚📚

It’s finally here Exposed, The sixth instalment in the cracking and disturbing Missing Children Case Files. The anticipation, the addiction, and the tension have been growing as each book ends. Each book in the series has led the reader on a journey that’s dark, chilling and desperately sad, but It’s finally time to unearth all those unanswered questions about Emma’s missing sister Anna was snatched by a gang of pedophiles as a child. The tag line for this series sums up Exposed perfectly. Three decades of disappearances, two decades of searching. One second of shattering realisation.

I should mention because of the subject some readers may find these books a tough read, but in the authors defence he shows sensitivity to the subject and many things are alluded to rather than writing explicit scenes. Emma has shown herself to be a worthy protagonist as this series has evolved so has Emma, her confidence has grown, she’s one determined cookie, it’s not a case of ‘will she find out the truth?’, it’s more a case of ‘when’, at the same time she’s also committed to bringing down a ring of high-ranking child traffickers and pedophiles. Unusual in a crime series, Emma is a reporter rather than a police officer, which I like as she’s able to push the boundaries and isn’t governed by rules and regulations.

I had some misgivings that the last book in the series would end in disappointment, but I’m thrilled to say Exposed exceeded all my expectations and then some! The chapters alternate between ‘now’ and ‘then’. The ‘then’ chapters reveal the truth about Anna’s disappearance. Amid the lies, deceit, and well hidden secrets, the ugly truth emerges, shocking the reader to the core. I have thoroughly enjoyed following Emma’s journey. Everything ties up nicely in Exposed, leaving no stone unturned, so I reached the end of the book with a satisfying sigh.I have really enjoyed every book in this series and Exposed is the ‘icing on the cake’. Highly recommend to all crime thriller lovers.

Emma Hunter has been searching for big sister Anna since she disappeared from her life twenty one years earlier. Everything has been a result of that, eventually leading to a career as an investigative journalist and best selling author focused on missing and abused children. Now however, things are getting scary and members of the paedophile ring she helped uncover are getting desperate.

The arrest of a suspect in a high profile shooting in a Leicestershire town suddenly changes everything as they declare they'll only speak to Emma. With her personal life getting ever more stressful, and having very few people she can trust, Emma travels to Market Harborough with close friend, Jack Serrovitz, to find out what's happening. As the police question her she begins to realise just how much more there is to discover.

And so it ends, after five previous books this is the final installment of Emma’s story written by the brilliant M A Hunter. I knew beforehand that it could be either a massive disappointment or successful wrapping up of an original and fast paced series. Thankfully it was the latter and  there was never a moment when I felt cheated by this storyline or ending, closing the book with a satisfied smile which can only be a positive thing.

I was able to read an advanced copy of this book thanks to NetGalley and the publishers but the opinions expressed are my own. If you have been with Emma throughout then this is a must read. If not you really need to start at the beginning but this would be a great series to binge read.

This is book 6 in the Missing Children Case Files, and a cumulation of all of the searching Emma Hunter has been carrying out for the past few years into the horrifying child abductions and abuse ring. The level of corruption being uncovered is staggering, with few that she can turn to in full trust. A shooting leads to Emma being requested to come to a Leicestershire police station, as the suspect arrested will only speak to her. But upon arrival Emma realises there is much more to the arrest than she was told. She finds herself questioned by the local police about her involvement in the crime. As if that was not enough, the next revelation dropped on her during the questioning shatters her.

This book is a full cumulation of all of Emma Hunter's tenacious research, that started as the search for her sister, that unearthed some cases of kidnapped children, and that became bigger than anything she ever could have dreamed in her wildest nightmares. She finally gets a chance to reflect on the loss of her sister and just how fully it shattered her family, and learn exactly why it happened.

As with all the books in this series, once you start you can not stop reading it. Just one more chapter, just one more chapter, soon has you reading until late in the morning. But every moment of lack of sleep is worth it for the rollercoaster you are brought on!

Exposed is the final novel in The Missing Children Case Files and what a nail biting, thrill a minute, roller coaster ride of emotions it is too.

For investigative journalist Emma Hunter the hunt for the evil minded and vile perpetrators of the abducted children has been a long and deeply distressing one, especially as one of the missing is her own sister Anna. Every time she seems to get near to a solution she puts herself and those close to her in danger too.
Will she ever find what happened to Anna and get justice for all those missing and their loved ones desperately searching for answers.

This fabulous novel and the whole series has delivered on all counts for me- a brilliant mix of characters, some heart warming and very easy to love and some who definitely fall into the diabolical, unsavory villains category.
With a skillfully woven plot and storyline and plenty of action and twists and turns it most certainly kept me captivated and enthralled from beginning to end.

This super series comes highly recommended - loved every one of the 6 novels myself.
5 huge stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for inviting me to read this final book in the Missing Children case files series.

After the cliff hanger ending with the previous book, I had high hopes and expectations here and was so eager to read this one. It didn’t disappoint at all. Not one bit. It went a different way to what I thought it would (in a good way) which didn’t take anything away from the story. Emma is still intent on bringing down a child trafficking ring and is getting so close to exposing them. Warnings and threats don’t stop her and when she gets help from an unexpected source and new information things really begin to hot up. In my opinion the author has excelled writing this book, it comes together and flows really well and grabbed my attention from the first page and held it throughout. It moved from past to present times very effortlessly and I felt I was unwrapping secret after secret and at times wondered what the author would throw in next. The book raced to a very thrilling conclusion and ending with all loose ends tied up. By the time I got to the end I’d had quite a few wow moments along the way. I really enjoyed this book, and think the author has wrote of a difficult subject with sensitivity and care. You know these things do happen sadly and are a reality for some. On the whole a great book and series which has been compelling, sad, poignant and at times heartbreaking to read and I’m a bit sad it’s come to an end, although I can see myself going back and rereading them at some point.

Although I'm sad to see this series come to an end, I couldn't have asked for a better conclusion! Investigative journalist Emma Hunter and PC Jack Serrovitz have never been closer to uncovering the mother lode of evidence surrounding the trafficking paedophile ring responsible for so much terror and abuse. And then the main suspect in the death of a former Metropolitan Police Commissioner specifically requests Emma's help - do they finally have someone with inside knowledge ready to talk? But Emma and Jack could never have prepared themselves for what they discover.

It's so hard not to give anything away here, but it's best not to know too much before reading this final installment. Otherwise, I'd be spoiling some major surprises! You will not be left unsatisfied, I can say that with certainty. Everything you've questioned will be answered. Questions you didn't realize you had will be answered! It will all piece together brilliantly. You'll find yourself reflecting on the wonderful characters you've grown to love and admire. And above all, you will say to yourself "When can I read the next book by the fabulous M.A. Hunter??"

😲Exciting series conclusion: loved the weaving between past & present😊

4.5🌟stars
This last book in the Missing Children series packed alot of excitement and good features. There's almost non-stop action unfolding at a fast pace, plenty of thrills, danger and surprises, and a really thorough account of lead Emma's childhood experience of her sister Anna's disappearance and the wrenching aftermath for her and her parents. In fact, for me the alternating present to past to present plot kept my interest high and the pages turning as I awaited the growing pile of revelations from the family's past. Great climax and happily-touching finale too.

I am glad that I kept with the series through to this final book which very successfully tied off all of the loose ends and even gave Emma some hope for a personal life no longer dominated by the search for her sister!

Thanks to Harper Collins UK/One More Chapter and NetGalley for sharing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

Emma Hunter is an investigative journalist who became a best selling author after exposing horrific evidence of child abuse that has gone on for years & shone a light on many well known people. He interest in the missing has deep roots going back to when she was a small child, her older sister, Anna, went missing. Her investigations have given clues to her disappearance. In this, the final instalment we find out a lot more about the time when Anna went missing . The pace does not slow down & the pages kept turning till the end. I was a bit apprehensive that the ending might be a let down but I needn't have worried- like the whole series it was done beautifully

What an amazing series this has been! This is NOT a book that can be read as a stand alone as the previous five books have led up to this finale. Start from the beginning & enjoy- I almost wish I had them all to read again. I will miss Emma. Jack, Rachel & all. Thanks to Netgalley & the publisher for letting me read & review this brilliant series of books.

Yet another excellent mystery novel by M. A. Hunter in this continuing series. Each of these books gives us more background information on Emma, Rachel, Jack Freddie and her parents. Now I’m the final instalment we get to meet her long lost sister Anna.

The author has done an amazing job of bringing Anna into the story while still keeping Emma as the main character. This book is full of suspense and twists that keep you turning the pages, partly wanting to get to the end and partly not wanting it to ever end. This is such a well thought out storyline and gives us a glimpse into the atrociously disgusting and violent world of sex trafficking involving children. I hope that although this is fiction it will help people come forward and bring to light what is going on all over the world.

Thank you to One More Chapter, Harper Collins UK and NetGalley for asking me to read this final instalment.

Amazing and does not disappoint. The last book in this series truly does not disappoint. This was the ending I've been waiting for. As a reader, I knew that either Anna was going to be found whether it be alive or dead. You'll have to read to find out. The trafficking ring will be apprehended and I knew it had to go pretty far up for this ring to be operating for as long as they have. The character was well developed and there was no lagging as far as the pace of the story. The ending did have a couple of disappointments. The "group" never got their voice heard as to why. That left an annoying question in my mind. The love story between Jack and Emma was downplayed and wrapped up in a nice bow, although I know that was never a big side story. I was hoping for more. The one storyline I did not see was Emma's parents at the end. Well written. Bravo!

Thank you to HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter and NetGalley for letting me read this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Exposed: The Missing Children Case Files in the 6th and final book in the series by M A Hunter.
In short, Emma Hunter, an investigative journalist, finally uncovers the events and horrors of child abduction crime that she’s spent the past two decades trying to solve in the South West of England. As quoted by Emma, “I kicked the hornets’ nest and angered them. I’ve put us all in danger.“ How right was she!
Without ‘exposing’ the storyline, what I can reveal is that it’s written in two different timelines and it’s jam packed with suspense, horror, survival and with a tense satisfying conclusion.
The Missing Children Case Files is a well written crime series and I look forward to reading more from M A Hunter in the future.
Big thanks to M A Hunter, HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter and NetGalley for this eARC which I chose to read in return for my honest review.

If you are picking up this book and it is your first by M.A Hunter. Do yourself a favor. Put it down and get book one in the Missing Children series or better still purchase all six books. Go home. Put the phone on silence, Send the kids away and lock the door. Put your feet up and enjoy the series.

I can truly say i have loved this collection. The characters have been well written and I've loved the way this book has concluded everything for me. I haven't been left with any hanging threads but i really hope the author is able to bring Emma, Rachel, Jack , Maddie and Freddie together to work on other cases.

I can see this collection doing really well as a TV series. I really hope it happens.

Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the Opportunity to read this ARC.

Exposed is the final book in The Missing Children Case Files and what a wild ride this has been. Emma is back and is so close to finding out what happened to her sister Anna all those years ago. There were so many twists and secrets that I never saw coming whatsoever especially the secrets within Emma’s own family.

I have to say that this was definitely my favourite book because I finally found out the answer to the question that I’ve been waiting over twenty years for (I mean not really) what happened to Anna?

M.A. Hunter gave me everything that I wanted in this book and so much more. I am so sad to be saying goodbye to Emma and Jack but I can’t wait to find out what M.A. Hunter does next.

This is the conclusion of a six part series covering investigative journalist Emma's hunt for a pedophile ring who has been abducting children. This is not a genre that I read that often, although I enjoy TV shows such as Death in Paradise, Midsomer Murders etc. This is in a totally different vein, being much darker and uncomfortable to read at times. The storyline is very compelling though, full of twists and turns and unexpected revelations. Definitely not one to read alone in a dark house with the wind blowing around rattling the windows, but highly recommended for fans of this particular genre. I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley, however this did not influence my review of the book.

This is great conclusion to the Missing child case files.
In all her investigations Emma has been looking for the answers behind her sisters Anna’s disappearance. In this final instalment the answers maybe found.
The shooting of a man in Leicestershire and the arrest of a woman draws Emma into a case that key test everything.
Can’t wait to read the next book by the author as gave thoroughly enjoyed the case files.
Thanks to HarperCollins UK and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The 6th and last book in this intriguing series where the characters use every skill they have to find missing children. Every case brings them closer to uncovering a large group of criminals moving children around to keep them in such sad conditions that it makes your heart hurt. The stories are all too familiar, you see them on the news every evening but when reading first hand accounts, the feelings intensify until the bad guys are stopped. A great series that has made a huge difference in this sad section of criminal life.

The final book in the Missing Children Case Files series. . There were so many questions to be answered from the previous 5 books. .They were answered satisfactorily., I have to say. I'm so glad it was quite a short length of time between books. The abduction of children is not a pleasant topic to read about but, this series was neither graphic nor gory. It was written sensitively, in my opinion. . I highly recommend this series.
